Very nice guys! Our washer was just delivered and they were quick and respectful. My only issue was that I never received the 'day before pre call ' and we didn't know if or when they were coming until an automated call came in about 15 minutes before arrival. Thankfully I was off work for the day and didn't miss delivery.

They deliver for Sears. They promised to deliver a couch between 7:00am to 6:00pm on a Saturday. Called them at 4:30 to follow-up, and they say they have 5 more deliveries to go. Knowing very well they wouldn't make it on time - 5 deliveries in an hour and a half? Come on, let's be realistic here....I waited until 7pm before I called back again. This time no answer despite posting their working hours until 8pm on Saturday. Guess somebody decided to go home early without delivering on their promise. No pun intended.

Update: the couch finally arrived after being about hours late. The ottoman leg was damaged as well as a huge scratch on the couch due to the movers. They insisted we sign a waiver to acknowledge there was no damage.

I haven't used this company and I won't in the future. These guys are rude. They are often here in our condo parking lot. They always seem to park in a way that prevents as many paying tenants access to their parking spots as possible. Their deliveries take FOREVER so you are stuck waiting upwards to an hour for them to so graciously allow you into the parking spot YOU PAY for. Today I pulled in as they were unloading a RUG. Two men for a rug...They smirked at me and went inside with their rug delivery. Its already been at least 25 mins where they haven't come back outside. They have no business leaving this truck parked in front of a fire hydrant and blocking tons of private paid parking. There is plenty of visitor parking for them to use promptly after unloading. Will never recommend or Use this company.

*After reading more reviews its clear this company is a mess and to be avoided at all cost.

This is the SECOND time this has happened to me with this moving company. I took the day off work so I could wait for my washer and dryer to be delivered. My delivery time was from 1:07pm-5:07pm. At 5:10 I saw the moving company drive by my house and not even a minute later I got a call saying the delivery driver ran out of drive time and they will call me on Monday to reschedule. They did this exact same thing last time I ordered a stove from
Home Depot. Not only did I pay a delivery fee but I also lost wages from taking the day off work. I highly reccomemd NOT having anything delivered from this company and sadly will no longer get anything from Home Depot anymore either. Shame on you and your lazy ass employees.

I was not there when the delivery happened but my contractor said the movers were ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. He said he has not seen people as professional as the fellows from Fred Guy moving for a long time. My stove was very heavy (over 600 lbs). They first tried to rolled it in and it caused cushy sound on the plywood (covered and protect hardwood floor). Then, the fellows just lift the stove and moved it inside and placed it exactly as where we wanted too. My contractor was very impressed by Fred Guy and could not thank them enough!

One of the worst, if not the worst, customer exper...

One of the worst, if not the worst, customer experience of my life. And no, I'm not exaggerating. There is something very wrong with this company.

They are contracted by Home Depot for appliance deliveries. I have had two separate delivery attempts for a dryer go completely sideways.

On the first occasion, I made arrangements to be at home on a work day for a scheduled delivery. And so I waited. A truck arrives, parks at the end of my laneway for 45 minutes, and then before I know it, DRIVES AWAY. No explanation. No knock on the door. No dryer. Nothing.

A phone call to dispatch revealed that DRYER WAS NOT ON THE DELIVERY TRUCK. It was lost in the warehouse. Sure, "lost in the warehouse". More phone calls over several days reveals that they've located the dryer: "I literally have my hands on it", proclaims dispatcher, "For sure it will be on the truck next time".

On the second delivery attempt, again I wait at the appointed time. Again making arrangements with my employer to be late for work. What happens? You guessed it: AGAIN NO DRYER ON TRUCK. And the attitude of the charming fellows who showed up? "Not our problem, can't help you". Couldn't be bothered to call the warehouse to locate the dryer, or apologize for being 3 hours late (the driver apparently was late for work). Did they bother to haul away a defective dryer that was part of the delivery contract? Not on your life.

Recommendation: Do not buy appliances from Home Depot if you need them delivered.

Today, September 23, 2016 we had a new washer and dryer (purchased through Home Depot) delivered to our house. The experience was more than we possibly could have hoped for. Simon and Scott were the two delivery personnel and were excellent right from the minute they introduced themselves to us. Both were very friendly and professional from start to finish. They took great care in ensuring the house was prepared for the delivery. The appliances were handled so carefully and they communicated with each other like a team should when moving the items in and out of the house. Also, no dolly's were used. They did all the carrying by hand. We were extremely impressed by both Simon and Scott. They did their best to ensure it was as stress free for us right up until the time they said their farewell. One point to mention is that our delivery was in the middle of the day, after they had already done several. They had to be tired but never showed it. We would look forward to any future deliveries made by Fred Guy Moving AS LONG AS IT WAS SIMON AND SCOTT who were assigned to us. Excellent and highly motivated young men. Wish there were more out there like them.

Great Delivery Experience in Belleville, ON

Great Delivery Experience in Belleville, ON

Kyle and Joe from the Belleville, ON location delivered appliances for us, thanks guys!. They provided prompt, friendly and professional service. One note is that the automated delivery time call was not audible and it took some doing to contact someone to confirm the delivery time.

Won't let me post with zero stars because that's what they deserve. Do NOT hire these idiots. They deliver for Lazy Boy and I'll never shop at Lazy Boy again for the simple fact that they deal with Fred Guy Delivery. They were supposed to phone the day before delivery which they did but didn't leave a message and I guess they are not intelligent enough to call the alternate number on file. So, we had no idea when they were coming. Of course I ran a quick errand the next day and they show up. I called them back and the utter moron that responded said he'd call the truck to see if they could come back. He said that they would return later in the day so that I must remain at home. Four hours later, they still didn't show up. I call again and the moron who responded said, oh yeah, he'll be there within an hour or two so be sure to stay home. Well, you know where I"m going with this. They never showed up. He told me not to call Lazy Boy to reschedule because they were coming. I stayed home for hours like an utter fool. I would NEVER rely on Fred Guy. In fact, it's because of them that I will NEVER shop at Lazy Boy again for the mere fact that they have a contract with such a dishonourable company. They deserve ZERO stars. NOT IMPRESSED. Can't believe they are still in business.

Used this mover twice. First time was to move 4 appliances. The moving team was excellent. No issue at all.
Second time was to bring a fridge from the store.
The 2 members were obviously new.
1- It seems they were in hurry. They did not put runners on the floor (and that day was a rainy day)
2- They caused minor damage to the wall leading to the basement while taking the old fridge from the kitchen to the basement. In fairness, that was to be expected given the narrow stairs leading to the basement. So, it is not their responsibility
3- They unloaded the new fridge from the truck and proceeded to bring it to the house. On the way they knocked out an out of their way shelf; breaking a very expensive plate that was hanging on the wall with its edge resting on the shelf
The only comment they made (I guess you can glue it back together).
I called the office immediately.
After many exchanges of emails, they refused to acknowledge responsibility. Later they did and offered me a settlement that is 35% less than the purchase price of the plate and more than 100% less than the replacement cost.
I refused.
So all indications are this will be settled in small claims court.
I do not recommend using them at all despite my positive experience with the first team.
