Fraternal Composite Service Review

We had a terrible experience with Fraternal Composite Services. We had a relationship with them since 2019 and they paid us for three years for thousands of images retouched for all colleges and fraternities. However, in the last year, they started giving all kinds of excuses for not paying us. They kept sending us work to do and when we asked for payments, they gave excuses like staff having COVID, the accountant leaving the job, offices closed for the summer, auditors checking records, and so on. We never doubted them as we had processed over 400,000 images from 2019 and they had paid us on time. However, this time they stopped replying to all emails and calls after running up bills of $131,200. It's unacceptable for a company to not pay for services rendered and it's extremely unprofessional to give excuses for not paying. I strongly advise against working with Fraternal Composite Services, as they clearly do not value their business relationships or the hard work of their contractors.

They kept pushing us everytime we contacted them until 2 days before and then decided it wasn't going to happen at all. Now they've ~graced~ us with an hour long shoot from 1-2pm in the middle of the week for our entire organization. Sloppy work. Expensive. (Upped our rates within the range of the 3-year contract but wanted 75% up front...)

Last year they messed up EVERY SINGLE print and didn't apologize. This has been one of the worst contracts ever and we don't want to ever use them again.

The photographers are great, but the organization takes forever and never is willing to explain why

End Product looks nice but their costumer service is awful. They scheduled us a time asking me to reply approving it and i asked if it could be changed and they said no. I told the we were thinking of going with another company and they said awful things about the other company which is so unprofessional. If you are looking for a new service DONT pick this one.

I've been a photographer/videographer since 2005. I've worked for some awful companies and a couple good companies throughout my career. I've been working for FCS for a year now & I must say it's been an absolute pleasure to work for. Always paid properly, friendly staff, willing to help improve upon mistakes with professionalism and understanding. I am honored and grateful to be apart of this team.

They took 8 months to get back to us, which unfortunately has been the norm for them the past 3 years I worked with them. Then they called and told us they lost our mf photos! I was a senior last year, had to wait until after I graduated to see my photos, and now I dont even get to see my group s final composite that I was in. Literally ruined my senior year composite. Also, if youre a frat/srat that takes ur photos in the fall just know you wont get your composite back until the next school year, IF EVER. F this place never do business with them. Honestly youre better off making your own composite with construction paper and scotch tape.

They do our fraternity's composites every year. Very responsive and helpful. Whenever there is a problem they are quick to fix it. Somehow our officer titles didn't make it on the composite this year and they sent us a new one with the fix free of charge.

Do not order from these people. Pictures were taken at my son's fraternity and the lighting was bad. Pictures are foggy and no matter how many times I try to reach "Daryl" there is no response to my dissatisfaction. Very basic package cost me $91. and I was embarrased to sent out to family.

Awful service, they take months to finish the final product and the composites are overly expensive. Our contract said a flat rate of $575 but they tacked on $200 in additional charges. Our organization had 4 people who couldn't make the photoshoot because they decided to schedule us for a 1.5 hour window in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon when most people had class. They charged us an additional $30 to send them pictures of the 4 members...they literally did not have to go through the hassel of taking those 4 pictures but still charged us double...not to mention shipping and handling managed to be another $120. Ridiculous up charges, slow service, inconvenient photoshoot times, and mediocre composites. Not worth your time or money. Go somewhere else.

We had a three year contract with them. Every year it took 4-8 months to get our composites, they also made a ton of mistakes every time. We paid for a high end package but what we got looked like it was made by a middleschooler with photo shop
