Scam. Credit union offered free coverage through them for $1000. Then they sent bills for $121 each quarter for greater coverage. Husband paid for years without a beneficiary and they admitted they would keep the money if something happened.

If I could give negative stars I would. My mother in law passed away, and while cleaning out her house we found a check she had received from Franklin Madison. She had been ill for several years, and never deposited this check. It was too old to deposit now, so as executor of her estate, I returned the check to the company and requested they reissue a new one so it could be deposited to the estate . I went two months without hearing anything, sent them an email asking for status. Was promised I would hear from them in 2 business days. A month later, no response. Sent a follow up. Got the standard email response they would get back to me in two days. This has happened FOUR TIMES now. I finally found a number for them, called 5 different times, and was hung up on all 5 times.
This company is horrible, horrible, horrible. Do NOT do business with them!
They are a scam and the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union is helping them railroad individuals into signing up. AD&D insurance is a scam and it is NOT a insurance policy. Please don t be fooled. It only pays out if you are in an accident that causes your death. It will also only pay out a 50 percent portion of you loose for example a limb or eyesight caused by an accident. They are the third party of Minnesota life so please do your research. Most companies will offer this knowing there will be no return on premiums or on its policy. That s the reason it s so cheap to sign up and doesn t require a physical
I guess I should have read up on this company as well. I thought it was a good accident plan (nothing close to AFLAC). I was in a accident, submitted a claim. Call in 4 weeks to see what was going on. I was told it takes 8 weeks. Why so long. I heard nothing. Called back in 9 weeks to see what is going on. I was told someone called my house, even though they have my cell phone number, and left no message. Because I did not call them back they closed the case and I would have to start over. What the HELL!!!! I cancelled immediately but they still took more money out of my account and now I have to fill out paperwork for a refund. All I can say is RUN.... This is the biggest SCAM.....
I do not recall signing up for a anything from this company, this is the 2nd Month in a row $24.00 has been deducted from my checking account. I'm gonna put these guys under investigation.
These people are horrible. They would not tell my my deceased father policy information when I am clearly the beneficiary. They asked me for the receipt of my father funeral. I wish I knew what kind of insurance my father had before his death. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I processed a claim since May 5th 2021 Here we are Aug 3rd 2021 and still nothing. I'm glad I discontinued my services with you guys. I signed up with All state Hospital indemnity and filed a claim and got my money in 3days. makes no since. If I can rate you guys below zero I would. Whatever you guys do, find another company. Horrible customer service.
