Very very unorganized place and dirty,small,worker...

Very very unorganized place and dirty,small,workers are not friendly at all,i had picked WIC papers up for my sister in law and it was not a pleasant place at all,i have been inside of plenty of WIC offices and i have never seen any look like this,just could not believe my eyes,for this to be a state place was just horrifying,the workers where so rude not friendly what so ever just seem to be very unhappy workers and not one time did i see a smile as i sat there and watch mother after mother come throw that door there was no greeting no smiles nothing just very rude attitudes,hopefully something changes about this place thats for sure...

The are a true blessing I can't thank them enough ...

The are a true blessing I can't thank them enough or repay what they did for my children and I without their help we would be without electricity no fun in this heat or with copd plus they pledged for us at the last min before they closing and for 3 more days they deserve an award in our eyes thank you community action for your hard work and help serving a big community isn't an easy job.

Rude. I did not need help nor was I looking for an...

Rude. I did not need help nor was I looking for anything for free. I was calling about information for a position in which they were hiring for and they were rude. Whoever answered in HR, Michelle? Should get a new job. I can see why they've been hiring for over a month. I wouldn't want the job if it meant working with someone so nasty.

Signed up for weatherization on the waiting list f...

Signed up for weatherization on the waiting list for 6 months to a year. So unhappy with the people and how the guys talk to you and put words in your mouth dont like ur JOB find a new one. Will be going in the office today to file a complaint on the program and the guy.

JFCA is hands down amazing. Donna the woman behind the desk is an angel on earth. She has a huge heart and goes leaps and bounds above the call of duty to help people.

JFCA offers utility help, housing help through HUD, help for women and children and more. They offer services such as Christmas dinner and gift help, back to school help, Easter help and more. They offer classes on navigating through the system. They treat everyone as equals. They never look down on anyone.

Donna takes a personal interest in the people who come through her door. If you treat her with respect she opens her heart to you. She knows you bu name and face and constantly looks for ways to help. She is a limitless source of motivation, knowledge , and help. Whether it is helping someone look for a job, get childcare, go back to school or college, or even just listening when you need it the most. If you are struggling and are in Jefferson or Franklin county please PLEASE visit JFCA. You won't be sorry you did. You will gain some freedom, independance, and likely a friend for years to come.
