I stayed at the Bavarian inn last month. I found it to be cozy and very kid friendly. They have lots of pools and hot tubs so it's not crowded. The staff was very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay everything was within walking distance. We will be returning :) although I would recommend an update on rooms they are a bit dated...but keep the old world charm. We also ate at the restaurant it was great. I suggest ordering one meal and splitting it as the portions are generous. If your a big eater you'll love your own meal though ;)

Looking for a getaway? This is the place to go - my wife and I came last year and have been back three times since then. It is a wonderful facility and has all of the amenities on site. The kids absolutely love it and the customer service is top notch - thank you for providing an exceptional experience for my family - you guys are doing a great job!

Great options and a convenient location! We will sometimes come here with our daughter just to have fun in the numerous play areas, play miniature golf and play in the arcade. There are several pools, rooms are clean and neat, there are several attached convention areas along with an attached bar.

The best place to stay in Frankenmuth. If you go in the winter/cold months you don't have to leave the lodge to have a great time. Several pools, mini golf, two gift shops, several bars, and a high-end restaurant. It also sits on a beautiful, scenic plot of land across the Cass River. Highly recommended for a full Frankenmuth experience.

We have absolutely loved our stay. Everything is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave the pools. We ate at two of the restaurants at the inn and it was delicious. We also enjoyed many of the nearby shops and the walk over the covered bridge. Definitely plan to come back.

This place sucks!

This place sucks!
An unfortunate incident happened tonight and should be told to medical marijuana patients in Michigan. I'm staying at the Bavarian Inn in Frankemuth with my family, and at 11:15 the cops are pounding on my door and standing there with the hotel manager. I was sound asleep and so were my kids. I answer the door and they inform me that they smelled marijuana and had a no smoking policy. I informed them that I am a card holding patient at no time did I smoke in the room. They said well you can't smoke on the balcony either. Which I didn't do either. I said I simply opened my jar and rolled a marijuana cigarette and took it on a walk in private. The police informed me that I can't smoke in public and I said it was in private. Well it turns out that the hotel tried to charge my credit card $300 for a smoking fee and unless I paid it I would have to leave. The cops said I had to leave per the hotel or I would be placed under arrest. I've been in this hotel since Monday and paid thru Thursday night. They said the 2 nights that we will not be refunded will cover the fee. Not even close, not to mention having to leave at midnight with my kids. I've never been kicked out of any business.
The bottom line is I didn't break the rules. I simply rolled a joint in the privacy of my room and someone didn't like the smell. I know when I open my jar the smell can fill a room quickly, but I am courteous enough to step outside to smoke. I wouldn't smoke locked in a room with my kids anyways.
I can't believe the way we were treated with no warning. The first thing they did was involve the police and try to charge us a fee without even talking to us. This is not a safe place for medical patients or cannabis users and I will no longer stay in or recommend Frankenmuth.

Bavarian inn is the best place on the planet. Great place for families and couples. Service is always top notch and I'm always leaving here wishing I had more time to spend there. Plenty of pools and arcades for the kiddies and nice relaxing rooms for the adults. Including an adult pool just for us old folk. I love this place and always want to come back.

Not the quality for the price. We splurged on a Suite for a Holiday with our kids and grandkids. We had a fridge for leftovers, but NOTHING to reheat them in. Really?
For 8 ppl taking showers, there wasn't a fan in the bathroom. The patio was 2 plastic chairs, they did face a nice view though. We also booked a jacuzzi in room...there was none.

Second, we work hard to take our families on vacation and expect to relax as well. You can't do that in a hot tub full of gymnastic kids and no authoritive staff to give a damn.
All in all the kids had a great time but we won't be returning anytime soon.

The place is perfect for kids. The basement has 18 course putt putt, multiple pools, and an arcade. There's also a bar and food down there.

My fiance and I stayed here because she went as a child and had fond memories. I didn't enjoy our stay at all and she apologized for bringing me because because it was that bad.. The hotel rooms are very old and outdated and to be frank about it, kind of gross. I was very disappointed with the price for the quality of room offered and if we didn't drive 7 hours to get there we would have gone home immediately.

To be fair though, the service was fantastic and the place was packed so they may not be able to justify updating the rooms if they are always fully booked.

I definitely won't be staying here again but if you have kids and the weather is bad this place is perfect.

There is a thing for all age groups. Theres a big arcade, a water park, mini golf, gift shops, and great restaurants! Not to mention the short walking distance to the town of Frankenmuth. Service is very good and you always feel like your at a safe place. Very sanitary and clean all throughout the hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a fun, exciting, and safe place to be when they visit Frankenmuth

Just stayed Dec 21-Dec 23, 2019. Bed bugs were found on my luggage. I placed a call to the front desk and spoke with a manager. Per the manager, dogs come into the hotel monthly to search randomly selected rooms for bed bugs. Per manager, "you can't be free of bed bugs completely." I will NOT be back to The Bavariann In. Out dated hotel, floor was grimy and not swept upon entering room and there was three small blood stains on one of the pillow cases. Very low quality and we paid 580.00 for a two night stay.

Awesome lodge for the family. Great rooms and very welcoming staff. The several pools and water slides are great for everyone. Huge arcade that is very well priced and works on the new card system, no more tickets which is great. Bar and food, and mini golf located at back of arcade. We will definitely be coming back!

I decided to have dinner at the hotel (Omos) instead of walking into town. (Table of 10). We waited 20 minutes to order drinks, 30 minutes to order food, the whole restaurant filled up and emptied around us. When I finally questioned the manager, she acted if I was being unreasonable. I have no problem with things falling the cracks, businesses being understaffed, it's not the situation that irritates me, it's how you handle it. It was handled poorly, I was offered a breakfast voucher which I declined because I won't be back.

Our stay at Bavarian Inn was great. We took our three kids (ages 5 and under) and had a blast with the pools and water slides. There is also a huge arcade, likened to a casino for kids (and you could probably drop just as much money in it!) The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. There are restaurants in the hotel, buy keep in mind that no food is included unless it's part of a package. We'll probably stay there again!
