Texas Strong Harvey can't mess with Texas concert was a hit tonight!

I felt the need to write a negative review of the Frank Erwin Center not because of the venue but because of the excessive administrative fees. I tried purchasing 2 concert tickets recently. I incurred a $12.00 charge associated to the tickets. Okay. But, then they charge you a $3.00 charge for Will Call or Print at Home. And, those are the only two options. I think I would be less offended if those charges we simply folded into the price of the tickets. This a-la-carte fee charge is ridiculous. You leave the transaction feeling like you've been duped somehow. Why do I have to pay $3 to access my purchased tickets?! I called to ask how I'd go about waiving those fees. You basically have to order them in person.

Great facility -- had some trouble finding parking here as a lot of the surrounding lots were for staff only or ones that required a UT badge. We ended up finding good parking at the Health Center garage, I believe. The A/C was fairly cold for the event we had going on, but otherwise, I had no complaints about the facility! The staff there were very friendly and helpful in helping us figure out where to go!

Went there for a graduation it was nice. Other than the coordinator she was rude.

Wwe Monday night raw been to the indoor stadium so has Thursday night smackdown it is the home of both Texas boys and girls basketball teams is a pretty Good indoor stadium it also host other shows like ringing bros Barnum bailey circus

Honestly, I felt like the seats had very little leg room and I am 4' 11", the food could've been a little bit better but what do we expect from a concert venue right? Overall the facilities were clean, and the experience of the concert made it all absolutely worth it. I would go back.

Saw The Cure here a few weeks ago. Really enjoyed the show...sound was amazing as was the crowd. Great venue.

I've been to many concerts, graduations and other events and will be very sad when it is closed down and destroyed soon. Just because something is old seems as if people just get rid of it.

The marvel show was excellent, it improved from the last we saw the show in San Antonio about 4 years ago.

This aging facility is the largest indoor stadium/venue in Austin. It was built to look like a cowboy hat from the outside, which I thought was a cool design idea. Unfortunately, it's time has long been passed and it feels like a concrete tomb inside. The seats are horribly small. I've never been to an event that has filled this place up, so there are always empty seats that could have been sold. It's just not some place I ever look forward to visiting.

The facilities are very clean. There are no bad seating. The acoustics are great as well.

Erwin center had always been good to us. Clean areas, friendly staff, outstanding service, and honestly the greatest place in general!

To small of a place to have monster truck shows or other large scale events. Save your money and time and wait to enjoy these events at a different location, it will be much better.

Helpful staff, but needs better entrances for the handicapped.

I've heard bad things about this coliseum and read a few but, whether I'm being bias, because I'm a longhorn. I've always enjoyed coming here and plan on coming back in the future. We went for a Texas Longhorn versus North Carolina Tarheels college basketball game. There were a lot of people and even then, it wasn't bad getting in and out.

I wish parking was better. Went for graduation and there are very few handicap parking spaces.

Easy to locate from the highway. The venture is a good size and items are reasonably priced. Most parking is found off site and people walk from various lots to the actual convention center.

Good venue for sports, but probably one of my least favorite venues in Austin for concerts. Beer prices are ridiculous as well.

Great venue for concerts since the it's not too small or too large. Nosebleed seats are still good seats! Remember to take cash so you can buy beer or wine margaritas during the concert.

Went to the Monster Jam Saturday night with the family. So much fun! All the kids were having a blast. Definitely a can't miss event for the years to come! Frank Erwin center is small enough that there is really not a bad seat for this event.

Been to many concerts and games here. Great venue, but parking can be a problem.

Good place to see an artist. Parking is a nightmare, but the facility is easy to get in and out of on foot.

Attended my nephews graduation on June 9th . When we got there, we were told we could not take our purses in. So we had to go leave them in the car. Then we come back and were told we could not take our cameras in. So here we go again to leave our cameras in the car. They should have informed schools before hand. Then we go in and there are some people with cameras. So let's just say I will never attend any event there ever again.

Loved everything except the un organization of the venue. Make sure you go to the right entrance based on your section. Not accessible friendly at all! It was really hard on my mother in law. You'd think they would have Fleetwood mac concert somewhere else knowing that they're an oldschool band, there seemed to be a lot of older folks who had trouble getting around.

No bad seats for sports. Some bad seats and poor sound for concerts.

Always has been a convenient 10 min drive from my house. Great for UT basketball games, WWE and Monster Truck Jam! Food prices are outrageous, usually brought my own, lol.

It's a little small, and dated. Austin needs a bigger arena! Concessons are pricy too.

It was crowded, of course it was graduation day. Lots of people there, they had concession stands open for different types of snacks while waiting for your graduate to graduate. Nice day, got a bit windy when we got out of there. No problems for handicapped access either.

Nice venue, but could use better and/or more parking.

$20 for a bag of cotton candy!! Seriously not in my lifetime I won't ever pay that price... EVER!!! Highway robbery is what this is as far as a place for family entertainment goes so take lots of money with you if you go for anything....

Very large and spacious; does well as an all-purpose event center. Event staff are courteous and effective.

The F.E.C. is a very old "dome" with absolutely no parking right off one of the busiest sections of one of the busiest highways in the nation.

The center is great for events. Clean, comfortable, amenities are conveniently placed. Parking is difficult though if you don't plan. Download the map of the area so you know where to park before you go.

its getting old.. but still functions... parking is a mess, and with large crowds, it take forever to get out of the area with a car

It s weird. I first came here to see Lana Del Rey when she was on tour in 2018. Never thought I d be graduating in the same place she performed. (The concert was awesome btw) Idk what to say. It s spacious and I had a good time when I was there.

Even though OU lost, it was an exciting basketball game and we got to see Matthew McConaughey.

Very exciting place with lots of energy to watch a quality basketball game.

I was there for IHeart Country festival. This is a nice place for a concert.
Its too bad they are going to tear it down. It is a nice venue.

NOT disability or handicapped friendly when people WITHOUT such can just buy these seats & leave those with needs to stand. Arena staff was very rude about the FEW seats reserved for needs.

Senior graduation! 820 graduates. Just like any sporting event or concert at this facility there's not a bad seat in the house.
Cool and comfortable seating. Was hesitant to leave. Our ceremony ended at noon on a hot Texas day.

All staff members, employees well aware at all times of their job duties and very friendly assistance to everyone.

I could say, we don't have that much choice to hold covered sports or big concert venue in Downtown Austin area. The seats are very uncomfortable for a normal/medium size adult.

I tried to buy tickets from the website for an event and it had no confirmation page or verification email for the purchase. It kept telling me to verify my address over and over, well come to find out it was charging my bank account each time for every time i tried to fix my address. Took nearly 2 weeks and lots of rude ppl at the customer service number to get my money back. We didn't go to the event.

Air conditioned, wheel chair accessible seating, good sound system

We were here for the Michelle Obama s book tour and had a great time. The only problem we had was figuring out which entrance to go into. Once we figured that out, it was fairly quick to get in. The seats were similar to most stadiums where you have just enough room to fit. We had decent seats so it was pretty easy to see everything going on.
