Stopped at the bar for a quick drink and app before going to a show at Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place. Just kiddy corner from restaurant. Enjoyed some Bruschetta and wine. They have a new wine bar down stairs. Looks amazing.

We dined downstairs in the cellar and were blown away. Really lovely ambiance. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The wine selection was perfect and the food was fantastic and authentic.

It's a nice Italian place, prices are ok although I cannot say the quality, taste it service matches it. Main plate was ok, vegetables were not very tasty. Dessert and coffee was good though.

Delicious food, top flight service.

Mia Francesca's is a great restaurant for small parties (dates) and large parties (celebrations). I ordered the Rigatone with spicy sausage and sun dried tomatoes. The dish was a little salty but the meal and experience was outstanding. I also got to sample the Carbonara, Gnocchi, and Carpaccio. They were all delicious and probably what I'd order next time for a main course. We did order the Tiramisu and Pistachio proditeroles and both were outstanding. The service at this location is great, so if you're looking for a nice italian meal for a small or even a large party I'd recommend Mia Francesca's.

Went there with husband and brothrr-in-law the evening before a full day of medical appointments at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. We had read the good reviews but were still pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. The special that night of crab stuffed flounder served with creamy risotto was superb!

Dined in last night before going to the theater. Thought the overall feel was great, the restaurant had an old Italian steak house feel to it with a modern spin. Loved the dark wood and white table cloth. The food was good, had the mussels which were served with a red sauce and the chicken caprese which was also tasty but only came on a small bed of spinach which didnt fill me but was flavorful (italians are used to bigger portions). Also had the creme brulee for dessert which was my absolute favorite, very creamy yet light so I didnt feel guilty for ordering dessert. My only issue was that I was charged full price for our drinks, which the menu specified were $5 gor their "happy hour". House cocktails and wine were supposed to be $5 during that time yet when we left I noticed I had been charged full price. No big deal just thought the staff could be more aware of their specials.

We had a large party for a milestone birthday celebration and the it was great. Wait staff was attentive and let us enjoy the company of many out of town guests. Very good Italian meal (chicken with prosciutto was especially good). Tiramisu is not to be missed.

I go to this unique place often as I enjoy the special air that is part of this place. The team is extremely friendly and professional. The service is certainly efficient. Needless to say, the food you get is great. I came many times and I was always satisfied. The rate is reasobable. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

First time here but won't be the last! Mushroom truffle ravioli from restaurant week menu were amazing! Generously stuffed with mushrooms and you could really taste the truffle. The salmon dish I ordered on the regular menu was another winner, cooked to perfection with lots of spinach and mushroom and a very flavorful sauce. Small restaurant with upscale yet relaxing ambience and attentive service too.

By far the best part of our Chicago experience - the staff was amazing and very accommodating to the vegetarian and gluten free members of our group! Joe was so sweet and fun; we are adding this to our list of places to visit every time & would 100% recommend it to anyone and everyone!!

Came here for dinner and to see if we'd want to have our rehearsal dinner here. Great food and service, and an amazing downstairs event room! Very affordable for being in the most expensive part of Chicago.

Decent food. I expected a boring Italian menu and they had a good selection on the entrees. Chicken, beef, veal, halibut, sea bass and more.

Service was ok. Seemed like they were just going through the motions.

They seemed annoyed to split a check.

Every time you eat at Francesca's you get the same amazing food and the same wonderful service from the same lovely people. I hate to leave it a good rating because I never wanted to get to popular, but it's one of my favorite Chicago stops

Service, atmosphere and food are all consistent performers at Francesca's. I can always depend on quality everything and a good value for the money. Only problem this visit was weak air conditioning.

This is the real deal for Italian food. I had their gnocchi last year with meat sauce and it was excellent. I revisited this year and it was just as good as I remember! Great place for romantic dinner, large family event, or some wine and appetizers after work. Huge wine list too.

Food was great! Will return next time we are in Chicago. Didn't understand the reviews about the noise level. It was crowded when we were there but not super noisy. We had no trouble carrying on a conversation. Highly recommend

The food was ok. It wasn't anything special, at least the chicken dish I had. On the day I was there it was pretty loud since the restaurant was packed. I definitely recommend their dessert. I had the lava cake which was phenomenal.

Wonderful cuisine in a classic setting. Prices are decent for the quality of food, and portion sizes are good. I had the gnocchi with pesto, which tasted fresh and soooo delicious. Service was VERY prompt and friendly. Our guest would NOT stop talking, and consequently we ended up staying past closing time. I felt so bad! Everyone was still very polite.

The food here was absolutely amazing! The service was great as well! Highly recommended. As other reviewers have mentioned, it was an older crowd and the acoustics aren't the best, but I don't feel it took away from our dining experience. Will be going back before we leave town!
