I had a ticket to attend a show at the studio and when I arrived the black female security guard told me I was not allowed to enter and would not explain why . I showed her the ticket but she refused to let me in . I think it was racism or so-called Reverse Racism . Later I called a few other people inside the studio and told them what happened. THEY had no explanation for it. to this day it's really disheartening whenever I think about what happened . sickening . EVEN though the studio itself has a lot of good people and does a lot of good things, it's the first people you meet at the door who represent the place. in this case it's security. It's unfortunate if most of security are "minorities" and if some are racist against white people. THAT'S a problem. I hope they have rectified the situation. I've never experienced this at any of the other big studios around LA, all of which I regularly go to.

Who doesn't love visiting a Hollywood set?!

Who doesn't love visiting a Hollywood set?!

Came here as a extra on Ted 2 for fun. So, we got to go inside the sets and waiting area, Fun times. Studio magic is awesome where they can just create and take down a set fast!

NEW YORK SET
It's just so cool to see where How I Met Your Mother was filmed. I love that show. It's awesome.

Each studio has a painting on their walls... one with Simpsons, Star Wars, etc.

This is a fun tour.

PARKING:
Inside structure and a outside structure. You need to be invited by an employee, working, or doing a tour to come in.

I looked in the fox website and found that, although it is not a studio open to the public, they do have a gift shop with fox merchandize. So this morning, at 11, i dropped by the entrance on pico blvd. To my dismay, the security guy told me that the gift shop was not open to the public either. !!!! When i protested and mentioned the website, he admitted that it was very misleading. Unless they have mofified it today, there is not a single indication inthe fox website about the gift shop not accesible to the public. What a bunch of jerks. Ah, i forgot something. I was so upset at fox incompetence, that a few minutes after i spoke to the guardia on duty, i rang the store directly. A jerk picked up the Phone but didnt let me finish. He just said i dont make the rules here so have a nice day (he hanged up before i could finish). Great HR management you guys at fox. Keep at it!

A swell go but considering the TV show that made FOX what it is and their lack of paying tribute to it much past nothing I could see I'd recommend going to Paramount. At least there they will recognize Tom Cruise, I didn't see anything about Al Bundy here.

I had the honor of working there for about a month last year. Everyone there was friendly. Some other reviewer said that Fox doesn't pay homage to what made them famous. That guy is a retard and obviously hasn't been then or know a thing about Fox. Married with Children probably wasn't filmed there. And even if it was. I don't think anyone including the people who worked on the show would say it needs some sort of honor when countless other great and classic movies and television shows have been filmed there since the 1930's when the place was built

About Fox Searchlight Pictures

Fox Searchlight Pictures is a renowned American film production company that has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades. The studio has produced some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful films of recent times, including 12 Years A Slave, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Wild, Birdman, Slumdog Millionaire, and Little Miss Sunshine.

Founded in 1994 by Tom Rothman and David Linde as a subsidiary of 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight Pictures has established itself as a leading player in the independent film market. The studio's focus on producing high-quality films with unique stories and compelling characters has earned it numerous awards and accolades from critics and audiences alike.

One of the key factors behind Fox Searchlight Pictures' success is its ability to identify talented filmmakers with fresh perspectives. The studio's roster includes some of the most innovative directors working today, such as Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Steve McQueen (12 Years A Slave), Alejandro González Iñárritu (Birdman), Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire), and Jonathan Dayton & Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine).

In addition to producing feature films, Fox Searchlight Pictures also distributes independent films from other studios. This allows them to bring unique stories to wider audiences while supporting emerging filmmakers who may not have access to traditional distribution channels.

Fox Searchlight Pictures' commitment to diversity is another reason why it stands out among other film studios. The company actively seeks out projects that showcase underrepresented voices in cinema. For example, their recent release Nomadland directed by Chloé Zhao tells the story of a woman who embarks on a journey through America's vast landscape after losing everything during the Great Recession.

Overall, Fox Searchlight Pictures is an exceptional film production company that continues to push boundaries in storytelling while maintaining its commitment to quality filmmaking. With an impressive track record spanning over two decades and counting, it's no wonder why this studio remains one of Hollywood's most respected players today.
