Fox Pools Review

I will not be going anywhere else for chemicals, testing, and advice. We have used other stores in West Michigan and none have taken the time to explain the different products they sell and give detailed instructions like the staff at Fox.

We bought our house 4 summers ago and after having an issue with another store s incorrect recommendation of a product last season, we began going to Fox exclusively. Since then, we have had no issues and our pool water is as clean & crystal clear as ever!

Awesome service from the minute they answer the phone to the minute they tell you "everything is up and running." New pump needed this summer. Within a day of calling and discussing best options, CODY installed the pump, gave on-site instructions, and helpful suggestions for what may be needed in the future. Small leak in the filter hose, two days later. CODY was on it the next morning. Fixed within minutes. Cody needs a raise! George and Mike Fox are awesome. They really know the pool business! This is the place to go for pool supplies prices are quite fair and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. That s far more than I can say about other local pool supply stores.

Nothing but good things to say about FOX pools. We purchased a home with an established DE filter pool. They upgraded our pool to salt water, walked us through all of the rebates, installed the system, continue to help us maintain and are extremely helpful with all of our questions. They staff is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly! We love Fox Pools and will be loyal clients for years to come.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The owner came out of his office to assist with some questions we had regarding our hot tub. They have a huge selection of stuff for all of your needs when it comes to not only maintaining your pool and spa but also toys and other equipment.

They installed our pool a few years ago, after install I had to go around my yard and pick up trash (coffee cups, plastic wrap, boxes, etc...) they left. Pool floor was bumpy and uneven. Worst install crew I have ever met, unprofessional, scratched up my equipment. Find someone else.

The people here are rude and do not care about customer relations. Rather than meeting with customers they request pictures and if they don't like the pictures they will just not call back. Rather than manning up and saying "sir, we cannot accommodate you at this time" they'd rather go down the road of just letting you hang. On top of just being lazy and not responding the arrogant old man "George" promises to send someone out and that still hasn't happened.

I wouldn't recommend this place. Go somewhere that provides actual customer service.

Had a great experience with this local family owned and operated business. Everyone of them know the pool business better than any other company I've dealt with. They were up front and honest. Thank you FOX Pools. Keep up the great work.

I just moved to the area and into a house with a pump. It is pool closing season and unfortunately the filter broke. Luckily we have a two year warranty that includes the pool! So I contacted fox pools. This is what they said to me:

"Thank you for contacting Fox Pools. Parts are not available for this unit. To replace with a newer version Triton 60 would run approximately $1,200 - $1,500, this does not include a new side mount valve or any plumbing rework that might be necessary. However, we would not interested in working with a home warranty agent and second party billing.

Thank you."

Not interested!?!? Business must be real good at fox pools to turn people away. I am going with another place that said it wouldn't be a problem.

Will never use them again. Poor service all around. Did poor work when opening pool. I am a small business owner and always call first to see if we can fix the problem- the owner hung up on me when I tried to express my concerns- twice. Then, they would not pick up phone when I called back. Very unprofessional.

Fox Pools put our pool in this past fall. Everything went extremely well and we could not be happier!

I chose Fox to install my new pool and couldn't be happier with the overall job. The entire crew from excavating to deck were vary freindly and professional. Highly recommend

My wife called 4 weeks ago to request an appointment which she was instructed to do on their website. Last week I followed up on her original request and they said someone would get back to me that day. I'm assuming they're so busy that they don't want and/or need my business but it would be nice for them to just tell me this, rather than not get back to me.

Have owned a pool from Fox Pools since '04 and have always had great service. Everyone is always nice and knowledgeable when I have to visit the store. The at home service guys are prompt and great to work with. If I ever have questions they are answered in a way that I can understand and I'm never left with doubt, and I know that my pool is in great hands.

George Fox is amazing! Got our pool installed 2 years ago and it has been great. Wel, on the 4th of July our pump died. Called up Fox (they were closed). George answered. He replaced my pump even after the warrantee expired. Will never go anywhere else.

Great family business. They are knowledgeable, friendly and deliver a high level of customer service. George, Mike and the entire team are tremendous to work with.

Very upsetting that I came into your facility to get some filters of which you did not have in stock. Needless to say, I was told you would order them for me. However, I then find out that you cannot even get them in. This wasted a week of my time waiting and yet causing even more time to lapse when I could have simply went to Master Spas. They took care of me within 5 minutes.

In ground pool installed and always serviced, opened, and closed by them for 6 + years and everything was great. This year George the owner will not return calls, show up at promised times, or even attempt to get the fix done. After his staff showed up 4 days late of promised service and several phone call. He did not recommend getting a second opinion which was recommended by his staff, and claimed it would be a waste of money. However we did get the second opinion and found 2 leaks in the plumbing line. Being what I thought would be a valued customer I would give them an attempt to do the fix, which he promised by the 4th and has still not contacted us. George talks to you in a very condescending manner and has absolutely zero customer service skills. I have recommended them previously to several people and will no longer do so. Now I understand why the best person working there, his daughter Mary did not show up to work there this summer.

Extremely pleased with the service and quality from Fox Pools! They were very professional and overall great to work with. They created a great everlasting product that myself and family will enjoy!

They dont want repair liner on my pool. POOR business!!!
