Course in pretty good shape. Needed more help at check in. All in all very nice day. Thank you
Please keep this beautiful place protected. Love the wild life and it's perfect for golf.
Great place to play
Friendly people
Like the fact that they have 3 9 hole courses and not 18. Beautiful scenery.
With 27 holes they can keep pace of play up. Well maintained and challenging for all skill levels.
I had to cancel my tee time due to unforeseen events. A gentleman named Dave was EXTREMELY sympathetic and polite. He wished that everything was okay with me and hoped to see me there again soon.
I will book here again as soon as I have a chance!
Really pretty. Good amount of hills. Forgiving fairways. Well kempt.
Beautiful challenging course, and the staff is very friendly
Beautiful course. Interesting holes. Reasonable rates. Only thing is they don't have enough signs for a course with three different sets of nine holes. It's a bit confusing.
This review is based solely on the pace of play. The course itself is a wonderful course to play on and is always in great shape. However, the pace of play is horrendous. I played nine holes of twilight at the end of June. Our tee time was at 6:38pm and we did not finish until 9:15pm. Although Fox Hollow has many tees available for many different ability levels, the fact of the matter is that the course overall is difficult. Many people who play this course are hitting every tee shot into the tall grass. This is not necessarily bad, but when tee times are nine minutes apart, this presents a problem. To add to the bad pace of play, there are rarely, if ever, any marshals out regulating pace of play. This is especially true for playing during their twilight hours. If you enjoy taking two hours and 40 minutes to play nine holes, this is the course for you!
Great course, great support team, love the facilities there
Course in good shape check in easy and quick staff friendly. Big negative cart paths only
This is such a cool place to visit. My son and I typically ride our bikes through the Bear Creek Trail and cut through the golf course. I've never played golf here, however I rode my bike through here several times and Ive taken the time to fish in the area as well. I've always wanted to check out their driver range it looks like a lot of fun.
Too expensive and pace of play is way too slow. The course is in good shape, but for a city course you'd expect a better deal for it's residents. $72 for 18 with a cart is too expensive. $85 on weekend. No thanks.
Great courses. Great rates. Our favorites are the medows and canyon course.
Pace of play was absolutely horrendous. 5 hours to play 18 today. Course is in pretty good shape but they re are putting too many times on the tee sheet. We had 3 groups on the 2nd hole par 3. Pace was immediately slow and stayed slow.
Keep you ball away from tall native grass and water
Amazing golf course. The 11th green after dark is a great place to
The best golf course in Colorado! The course is always in great shape, the staff is so friendly and the food is amazing!
Never again. Great layout, but sadly this course plays slower than ANY in the entire front range. 5 hours and 27 minutes is inexcusable. Get your act together, Fox Hollow!
Never had luck getting honest answers from pro shop about pace of play or crowdedness. They say its pretty open and not crowded, and I arrive to a tournament that is slowing everything down... Ive talked to others who have similar experiencws. Homestead is a fun track though.
Love that there are 3 separate 9 hole courses. Each are in excellent condition.
When you are in Colorado this is a must play if you're serious about golf. All facilities are excellent and the staff is great.
Really strict. Management interrupted our meal 3 times to let us know the company couldn't bring water before we even got on the course. Very rude.
Outstanding food!! Great ambiance! The very best wait staff...Suzanne and cohearts!! Wonderful outing!
Gets 5 stars because if the great golf lesson I got from Mike, one of their pros. Learned more in 15 minutes than I did in an hour at one of the fancy downtown shops. Thanks Mike. I'll be back.
Little on the pricey side but amazing golf course and views
Course in great conditon. Be prepared for slow play. Nice bar too.
Food is good and staff is friendly. I've only played here a few times but it has a variety of landscapes and challenging terrain
Beautiful golf course. Nice club house and bar area. Good value overall.
Have a tournament here every year always a great place to golf and in pristine condition. Great clubhouse and great service in the restaurant and bar area! Love the food and breakfast burritos! Never been dissappointed!
Fox Hollow provides a beautiful atmosphere for any event let alone world-class golfing
Really well designed and maintained course. Automatically makes my favorites list.
Course was in good condition and great to play. Staff wasn't friendly, and we were repeatedly harassed by the marshalls. On the second hole, we were told we were holding up play. On the 3rd hole, we were told we had to let the group behind play through, even though they weren't on the tee, and we were approaching the green. On the 8th hole, the marshall came and informed us that we were holding up the entire front 9, and we were 30 minutes over time. There wasn't a group on the hole behind us at all at the time. We finished the round a grand total of 3 minutes over the recommended time. Apparently that wasn't good enough.
I really enjoy the course, but the hassle of dealing with the marshalls and the poor attitude of the staff will likely keep my away.
If you go in the morning be sure to get there early to have breakfast in the restaurant!
Very good food in a very beautiful environment. There's nothing super-special that would drive you here, but a great place to meet for breakfast or lunch.
Everything was great. Links is a little exposed if it's windy. Canyon is challenging and beautiful.
Nice clubhouse, with good happy hour beer specials.
Great place, great staff, and well organized with tee times during COVID.
Beautiful golf course and impeccably maintained! Three 9 hole courses, to choose from.
Very enjoyable but to change extra on a Thursday because it is a holiday is a rip off. Won't be playing here on the weekends or a holiday again.
I play golf here every weekend with my son. Great place.
Driving range was great to help me improve my swing and game. Went there twice and would recommend this location.
I really like the layout of two of the three 9s at this course, and the course maintenance is really well done. However, I no longer regularly golf there because the pace of play is consistently terrible, they do not manage play on the course and as a result, my last three rounds have been at or longer than 5 hours. Three years ago, I had to leave the course after the 15th hole because I was at 4:45 minutes. I stopped going to the course. A year later, I played a round to see if it improved...it had not. 5 hours. Last year, I came on a late fall day to check again. No improvement. Played today, 2:28 for the front nine, quit after 4 holes on the back took over an hour and I had a ten minute wait on the tee box of the fifth hole. Rangers do nothing. The course just crams people on and shrugs it's shoulders at the terrible pace. I'll check back in a year or so.
Called twice to cancel and tee time due to cold weather and was hoping to reschedule for tomorrow but was hung up on twice by a man name Jim as soon as I brought up canceling a tee time.
Their website states you must call to modify tee times within 24 hours. The service here is simply rude and poor. I have also had issues being rushed at this course my marshals as stated in previous comments.
Two other course very near to this (5-10 minutes) one called Foothills and the other Meadows, both a much better experience.
Friends we were visiting in Lakewood suggested The Den at Fox Hollow for breakfast. So glad they did. We were seated outside (at our request), had a great view of the golf course and surrounding mountains (foot hills?) and lots of sun shine. Four of us ordered different breakfast items, and no one complained about the quality or short time we had to wait to receive our orders. Our waitress, Julie, really seemed interested in us, made sure we had everything we asked for and/or needed & stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was alright. This was a terrific place for a outstanding breakfast. Actually looking forward to returning to CO just to eat at this restaurant again.
My good friend Brian Conboy got an ace on #6 Canyon Course so on overall great time...Bear Hug men's league...
Great tracks. 27 hole layout. One of the best public courses for the money...
Very fun! I love courses that make you think and this course is definitely a thinking man's course. Greens rolled very true and there was actually real sand in all the bunkers. Being so close to the foot hills, be prepared to deal with the occasional wind gust. Driving range is top notch, plenty of room
Excellent choice if you re looking to play 5 hour rounds. Pace of play was so slow and the marshalls are more concerned with the native grass than they are with the glacial pace. Course was in solid shape but waiting five minutes on every tee box is not appealing to me.
Beautiful scenery, mountains in view and got some great pictures!
I play Homestead, which is now part of Fox Hollow. It's a great short course, especially if you want to work on your game.
Course is in great shape, played Links to Canyon, walking. Had a blast!
Friendly. Course in good condition. Restaurant serving. Overall a good time
Enjoyable course, haven't played in years but the Canyon course is still tough. Meadows course is still my favorite of the three as it's a little more forgiving.
Probably my favorite course in Denver. Challenging course at a fair price.
I have only golfed here a couple times and wow! Definitely my favorite course I have ever golfed at, it is well priced and the scenery is amazing! They have three sections on the course, canyon, meadow, and links course. I have only golfed at canyon but I loved totally recommend golfing here if you get the chance!!
Play here all the time. Rates are low for the quality the course offers every time we play. Highly recommended
