Really a lot of fun but $5 per person including little kids is a bit high.

It's a smaller pool, and that is nice. There's plenty of shade available. The only problem is that a lot of the patrons don't follow pool safety rules, and I have seen young kids doing front flips off the side of the pool into water that is between three and four feet deep. The life guards seem to slack off and are completely bored, unless they are busy flirting with their boy/girlfriend who is a patron. Filmed one life guard actually doing this. Poor start for the summer. Not sure if anyone should feel safe in the water.
Also, got kicked by random kids and adults without word one of apology for them doing that. Apparently one should never stay in one spot in the pool.
A nice but small swimming pool. There are two slides and a diving board. Unfortunately you cannot swim in the deep bath because of the diving board / slide.
There are enough lifeguards. I counted five around the bath. You are not allowed to smoke in the entire swimming pool.
You can also buy snacks such as ice cream, drinks and chips. You are not allowed to eat this on the lawn.
There is sufficient parking space available.
I went to beaver park and even though it was raining it was so much fun
In my humble opinion, this is the best of the Cedar Rapids pools. Im a life guard there now and it is the perfect size. There's a diving board, drop slide, and long twisty slide. There is also a consession stand and umbrellas located in the grass to provide shade.
Beautiful walk-in pool, with couple fun slides. Great for kids!
