WARNING.... do not use this system, I had a very BAD experiences IN A ROW when paying property tax for LAKE COOK COUNTRY TREASURE. After paid full amount of property, the support called me only a couple dollars paid for tax in that transaction, actually I paid full amount in the option menu, then with the guide from the support, I tried to online with her to do transaction again, and the transaction still can not go through. The system is buggy. Not sure how it passed "PCI" certification, scary to use it, so I decide to use old traditional payment method this year. I had no problem for the treasure online payment before, it might be through from a different payment system.

Horrible sad excuse for a payment company! One of the dumbest things Forsyth County has ever done. You can no longer go from your tax bill to payments. It asks for manual entry of four or five fields of complex information and then says it cannot find your bill. So sorry for old people subjected to this ridiculous excuse for a payment service. If your company is looking for a payment service stay away from this one.

Forte is a big company, expect some breakdown in communication if problems occur. When I was given the ability to speak to a department manager Franny, she was extremely helpful, apologized profusely about the situation and took care of the problem on the spot.

That was a great experience.

I think they are a good company, but need to get better organized in lower level positions. My honest take on the matter.

This is by far the worse customer service I ve had in a long time. Micheal Thomas gave me the run around a lot. Reserved money for 90 days. I just think all this need to be in black and white before signing up with a third party company.

After successfully opening an account with forte they had informed that they have to shut it down because they do not service my business type industry because it is "high-risk" I am the owner of an IT company and have ran payment with them before. Ever since forte has started working with "dex" it has been a complete nightmare, nobody knows what's going on at forte and their customer service is absolutely clueless. Helcim payment solutions is a much better solution for online payments for technology companies.

I called there for an issue and the customer service was yelling at me and was being very very inappropriate. This is a new trend of customer service. Yelling at the customers! No wonder this guy says it s an awesome place to work at, because these people treat the customers like trash and do whatever they want and no one is holding them accountable for. That was my last time having to do anything with them thank god. Avoid them at all costs! The place that I m working with now, they are much better rate wise and they are polite and accessible. Look for other places and save yourself money and headaches!

As treasurer for a local non-profit organization, I was responsible for getting credit card processing set up before we held a major fundraiser. Forte helped me with all the arrangements and I received the credit card terminal promptly. I had no previous experience, but processing was straightforward and intuitive. We were up and going without a hitch! The funds were quickly credited to our bank account. It was a very positive experience!

I strongly recommend you use anyone but Forte. They will promise the world and then back out in the end. Dragged us along for months and backed out at literally the last hour. Very untrustworthy.

As a small business owner, my recommendation is to stay away from Forte as a payment processing company. Don't expect treatment like you'd receive from companies like Square, Wepay, Stripe, or Paypal (we've used all). Forte's business practices are dishonest, deceitful, and disappointing.

We had an ACH debited out of our account to a wrong account. The error was ours and we own that. We reached out to Forte for assistance in getting our clients money back. After a Herculean effort to get through on the phone, and leaving two or three different requests for a call back we finally got a customer service representative to open a case. We had to agree to a $55 charge to try to get our funds back and immediately granted permission for the debit to our account. Weeks passed. I then contacted the customer service representative for an update and was told that I had not given permission for the $55 debit to start the process. I re-approved the request for the charge. Forte charged us $55, then within days said they couldn't help us; that we'd have to go outside of the ACH network to get our funds back. Another daunting roadblock as we're not sure where the money went. I'd would bet Forte knows the destination of our funds but they haven't shared this information with us. This company is very quick to pull tenant's money out of our account when there are non-sufficient funds; or if there is a key stroke error on the consumer's end. These rules are fine, as these are rules we agreed to abide by when we engaged Forte. However,t when a client of Forte needs help, they don't seem to care or to put much effort into a satisfactory resolution. We are exploring other companies to handle our ACH solutions.
