Tried to sell house, timing was not good. Decided to rent it and these very professional folks listed it and rented it in just a few days. Communication is excellent, employees are amazing and they really make home owners feel at ease with the whole house rental process. Jamie is the best property manager I have ever met or worked with. My old company left me hanging, issues upon tenant move out that I had to take care of, not an issue with Coldwell Banker property management. I stressed my concerns about past issues and was assured there would be no problems like that moving forward. That was definitely the case. Instant emails about tenant work orders, recommendations and quick resolution on all matters. They held the tenant to a standard and it showed in the 16 minute move out walk through video I was provided. Definitely the Gold Standard in property management without a doubt. All their hard work and dedication to home owners has paid off and I now have a pending contract on my home. Thank you all so much!!!!

I have been renting a property from Fort Riley Rental Agency for two years now. I have never had a problem with them. Last month my A/C stopped blowing cold air and I called them. Within 20 minutes they had a A/C repairman sent to the house. They only reason I gave them 4 stars is because during the walk thru there were a few things they said they would send a repairman out to fix and never did. Other than that if I ever call and need something they send someone out right away. I would recommend.

Rent from at your own risk. They do not do repairs if they do they are not done correctly. Unrealiable office staff that are constantly turning over. Do not keep their word on anything. They also do not return phone calls or messages. This company can not be trusted. Should be investigated for borderline slum lords! Wish I could give them negative stars.

Very unprofessional, refuse to spend money on fixing things. On move out listed a bunch of things that were already wrong with the property. Rent is expensive and the house we rented was so old and not taken care of that it was extremely expensive to heat in the winter due to the walls not being insulated properly. We put time and effort into improving the property from what it was when we moved in and they didn t care. We will never rent from them again.

We rented through them and mainly spoke with Gina ...

We rented through them and mainly spoke with Gina and Jamie I think was her name. Renting was easy coming from Texas but when we got there move in was so bad. We had driven all night 15 hours from Texas and got there around 1pm. We understood that all utilities needed to be connected and account numbers turned in before we got the keys which they were. Except the water because that needed to be set up in person. We were so tired, our 1 year old couldn't take it in the car anymore, we hoped they could please let us get the keys and at least get her to a home not another building then back in the car. They refused. How cruel! My husband had to basically beg and they finally allowed it IF we tool her straight there and immediately left to turn on the water. Fine. We did this. When walking into the house, it had the previous tenants urine and poop still stuck to the underside of the toilets! There was good caked onto the stove and the counter tops were sticky with jelly. It was hard to find a corner of any room without a spider and its family. We called and complained, took pictures, they stopped answering my calls. Then I was told they'd ask the owner of he would refund or discount our 1st months rent because of this. Never heard back for over a month, we called they said "oh he said no." And that was it. I had to scrub a stranger's feces off my toilets and scrape off layers of crusty food off the glass stove. For me it's 3 stars, because moving out was easy and got our full deposit back. Then again we left it better than we got it.

I gave the specifications on what I needed in a house and they sent me listings that matched my needs. It was super easy, I moved to town and that day I had a house. Wonderful and kind staff made the house hunting process care free. I would use them again!

Lots of options in different price ranges, ultimately went with someone else because they never called me back. I picked 3 places I wanted to tour, they had to set up times with the tenants because they hadn't vacated yet...understandable. I gave my availability
(which was anytime) and was told I would recieve a call soon with a meeting time. Never did, even after a follow up call from myself. It was upsetting because the property seemed very promising.

I have been renting from this company for a year now. They have been nothing but wonderful! Our lease is about to end and we have not had one single issue. I saw the other reviews saying they never answer the phones or fix things. From my personal experience the truth is the exact opposite. Any time I call I get an answer right away and they re always polite. Our door came off it s hinges in the last storm and I called around 4pm today and someone was at my house by 7pm to fix it. Same with a washer issue we had not too long ago. I m not sure why they re only rated 2 stars but I promise you, if you treat them how you re supposed to, they will treat you how you would want a rental company to treat you and then some. And I know this is making it sound like I work for them but I swear it s a 100% honest review. Definitely recommend them and their company!

I own a house that they have managed for me for about 7 years. During that time they have been great and taken fantastic care of my property. I've never had an issue with them and on one occasion they went way above and beyond when we had a problem with a tenant moving out.

After renting for a year, never missing a payment,...

After renting for a year, never missing a payment, we found out the home we had been rented was in foreclosure. We asked Fort Riley Area Rentals (Jamie Fetters in particular) about it and she told us not to worry about it and that it would not affect our lease renewal. So we renewed our lease for a second year and within a month of my husband deploying and 1 month in to our new lease, I was informed by a bank I would not be able to finish my lease and would have to move. I was obviously very upset and shocked. I asked Fort Riley Area Rentals to give me my deposit back so I could fund my move. I asked for help funding my move or to be put in a different rental where we could finish our lease out. All Mrs. Fetters responded with was that the lease was currently still valid and I was expected to hold up my end of the lease even tho they could not. They basically wanted to squeeze every last cent they could out of me and I'm still going to have to move while my husband is deployed, before the lease was supposed to be up. They did not even offer an apology. Nothing. I now cannot even get repairs fixed. They are simply ignoring me. They do not wish to spend any money fixing a home that is foreclosed. Yet, they still expect me to pay my rent in full and on time. I pray no other military family has to go through what these people are putting us through. My strong advice is to find anywhere else to rent through. Save yourself and your family the hassle.

After waiting a week or so for the construction and cleaning people to be done with a rental, I finally got the keys so that I could go look at it. Having lived in the same neighborhood before and knowing the general layouts of the houses I didn't expect any surprises and fully intended to apply and put down a deposit as I have to be out of my current rental asap. Long story short is I walked in and it smelled of pee and lemon. The backdoor (screen on a slider) was wedged into the door opening and would not open so you could not get out of the back door. I did not turn on every light in the house but let's just say in the one bathroom, all six or seven bulbs were burnt out. The one bedroom's walls looked like I don't even know what and one of the outlets near the floor had no cover (not the child protective covers but the plate that is supposed to go around a light switch or plug socket. So, hole in the wall with plugs sticking in it, or out of it...) In the interest of fairness, when I went back to drop off the key I asked the agent if they had looked at the house after "contractors" and "cleaners" got done and she said no. When I told her how it looked she seemed unaffected and when I asked if the place would be cleaned up before move in she said that "the contractors had already been there." Fair enough. I left. I never leave reviews. But I literally could not believe 1) how that house looked was acceptable to present to prospective tenants 2) that when made aware of the issues the agent would not care about how it looked or that the contractors/cleaners had apparently not done their jobs. I would be embarrassed. And, I'm upset. This property was on my very short list as I need a place asap and I walked in there today expecting to walk out with a new rental and not to be writing a google review. I doubt that I would rent from this company anyway because if this is their idea of property management you I don't want to know how they are once you are in the property or how things go when you try to leave it. I think anyone who has rented in this area, as I have for years now, knows what I mean.
