Fort McDowell Casino Reviews

The Fort McDowell Tribe is building a new casino so the congestion is high. The existing resort is still very nice and the rooms are comfortable. They might consider changing out the showerheads.

If you like slot machines, this is NOT a good place as the payouts are terrible.

I like it.. Was fun.. Good place to play Bingo.. Go check it out..

Just wish they would make it all a non smoking establishment.

biggest bingo hall you ever did see. and its nice that theres a non-smoking section of the floor with slots for the grammas and grampas with COPD, oxygen tanks, etc.

Lovely views all around can't wait to see how it will look after construction is done but don't get me wrong it is still open all around even though their is construction going on come and play or view the scenery it is beautiful

We felt Bad about, SO MANY ELDERLY FOLKS CONTRIBUTING, IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE, (CASINO ) CLEARLY MEANS, (NO WIN). A VERY WISDOM INTELLIGENT, WRITER ATTRIBUTED HIS ATTENTION TO THIS CASINO MATTER.

I see why they are building the new casino...but still love this place

Tried it here again and still not happy with the whole place.

I was harrased by management for bringing a can of beer bought at thier bar to the black jack tables. Later I was ask to leave conviently when I was winning. If you plan on winning any money here, don't have drinks.. if your headed to payson, the mazatzal casino is a better option

Small casino not real inviting location. People were nice .. did not win may be reason for middle of road approval

Older property but very well maintained. Clean and up to date. Very well run Poker room.

Clean, friendly people, love the buffet, and next going to bingo midnight. Love it!

Tight slots. Spend a night here & they will comp. You a couple free stays. Room are a little dated, no micro.

Nice new casino clean and safety was their goal. Definitely the no smoking is a plus. Slots were a little too tight but it just opened. Definitely will be back.

We had the buffet for dinner before starting the gaming. Excellent meal! Slots paid modestly well, tables were busy but accessible with super dealers. We had a very nice time.

Uh... I've literally never been here before in my life and got an email saying my review for this place was liked... Never been here. Never wrote the review that was here previously... So...

This place just takes your money without at least letting you play for awhile. And they are stingy with their freeplay

Place looks nice. But the take too Long for serving the food

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The casino was hopping, machines were active, and the live music was great. The atmosphere was up beat. I personally won $100 on a quarter wheel of fortune machine however, with the way things seemed to be going and the energy in the air I am sure there were a few that walked away with more that night. I think Fort McDowell is a hidden treasure of a casino.

I always have fun here and have often left with more money than i came with!! Best Bingo of all casinos in Phoenix metro area!!

Fort McDowell is the only casino my boyfriend and I go to. We go at least once a week and absolutely love it! The atmosphere and customer service is unbeatable!

This place is good and I'm not easily impressed the people there are very helpful and courteous the dealers are friendly and fair just an overall oh I can't forget food was outstanding I'd like amended highly recommended

Went to the cafe for breakfast and played on the craps machine.

It's not like it use to be. They took out a few machines I loved to play and so I don't go as often anymore

The walk through people in the bingo hall are very disruptive.

This is a nice casino, but I don't gamble... I walked through it once, when doing a site tour of the resort, and it was just too smokey for me. But, if you're into that kind of thing... Every time I've been here it is always busy, so the casino must do well.

I understand that there is a possibility to lose money when gambling, but there should also be an entertainment value as well.

Clean,lots of machines to choose from, try ur luck.

The staff was quite helpful. They have a huge assortment of slots. The card games were new and inventive. Beer and liquor for 3. Not too much bing, bing, bing...rather liked that.

I don't go here to gamble, though I have been know to play a slot or two. What I DO go for is the fry bread @ the Diner. GREAT fry bread, very nice staff.

I didnt hate it i just did not enjoy it as much, because certain machines have been prechosen to not be available to play it would be a lot better if you could switch to a machine right next to the one you are playing and be able to shut down the machine you are playing there is zero flexibility from the casino on that i beleive if you are playing a lot of money you should have a choice, so if the machine type you like to play only 1 of that type is available its not enjoyable i also heard the 5 dollar triple star machines will not be brought to the new casino i know of one customer that will not go to the new casino if they only offer all the new bells and whistles machines that customer would be me i have also talked with a lot of others that are saying the same thing!!! It's a smaller casino and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Although it's one of the older casinos in the area it's up-to-date, clean, and well maintained, inside and outside.

This is definitely convenient to get to and there is ample parking. Worth a visit and if you haven't done so, do.

The staff is way friendly and very personable, thus making the entire facility more enjoyable to go to.

Never a big fan of casinos, and their buffet game is pretty weak, not much of a selection and the quality was pretty poor, same with the type of games available.
