Ice skating was fun and their weren't a lot of people, though I did go on a Sunday
Went to play some open hockey with the boys and after the 45 minute drive we get there and open hockey is full. We look to the other rink and there is one (absolutely terrible) male figure skater practicing . ONE!!!! And they wouldn t open up even half the rink for 15 hockey players because of ONE male figure skater. If this figure skater makes the olympics one day I ll rewrite this review, but I honestly think a 3-legged dog could do better than him. Pitiful and disappointing.
Astounding facilities and excellent services are provided at the Ford Ice Center. I've gone for public skating here and have had only a great experience each time. This is a fun activity for friends and family. I would recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes early as they can have lines to the door on certain days. The staff is very friendly and we helpful while we were there. I look forward to returning in the future!
Too chaotic no rhyme or reason to doing things. Not enough employees, dirty bathrooms
I was treated horribly but the people at the front desk and didn t get helped at all by the staff there customer service is horrible I don t recommend this place
First time there for birthday party. WOW!!! It's a busy place but fun!
Management here is a joke and the General Manager specifically (Danny Butler) is a jerk! I've never met anyone as arrogant, pompous and condescending as he is. He is rude, belittling, disrespectful and has no issues talking over you, talking down to you and making you feel insignificant and unimportant. The Predators should honestly be ashamed he is the General Manager here. Two thumbs way down! If I could give 0 Stars I would.
Its clean. The ice is fantastic. My favorite place to play.
This place is amazing! Great environment, friendly staff, great energy. If you want to take your kids out for a skate sessions, this is a great place. They also have loads of programs that you can get involved in with the kids. Go and check it out for yourself, you'll see what I'm saying!
Always a good time to be had with family, friends and kids. Good food options.
Great place to learn to ice skate. Friendly help. Just an all around good time.
Great facility. They have done a great job of maintaining the place.
Attended the public skating session. The staff mainly 2 girls working Christmas Day were unprofessional and crude. They gave my son bad skates. Those disrespectful girls need training as they are working in a customer centric environment.
Nice facility, hard ice, great times for pick up hockey
Top notch place with a top notch staff.it's the best of the best.the only thing i would like to see more of is more public skate
Best ice in Nashville. This place is always clean, bathrooms are spotless. Extremely well managed. I wish they had room for 4 sheets of ice!
Amazing place for ice skating. Entrance to it is only 10$. Well maintained. Make sure you check the available timings for general public online on their website and go.
Great Place to skate. Very organized. I will always come here to ice skate. Recommend this place and this place only:)
I dont like the amount of time this place allows for public skating (1hr 30mins) but it is well worth your money.
I really like Ford Ice Center. The arena is beautiful and access is easy off hwy 24.
It is in an area that is rebuilding, but I have never felt unsafe parking or walking in to the arena.
We are there at least once a week and really enjoy it.
Also, the staff in the hockey shop are great, I highly recommend asking them about your equipment needs.
I signed my son up for hockey here and I love the coaches. The place is nice. This guy behind the counter where you get your rental skates, what a butt. Literally said "size?" Before I could get it out, he was walking away, then brought back the wrong sizes. And was such a butt about it. "Well that's all you had to say" remark. I was shocked. It just seemed no one wants to be bothered there. Like you're getting on their nerves. That's too bad, because we're spending a lot of money to play hockey there.
My son learned to skate here, plays jockey here, and we have family skate night here! This place is immaculate. Has a nice, open area where you can sit and eat anything from pizza to BBQ nachos, and my 2 yr old is never bored in the commons area while his big brother skates. Very clean, well maintained, and I plan on having my son's birthday here next year.
Went with a group of adults - good price, fun place, nice to have the option to grab a beer onsite.
I love this place. Very friendly people who work there and very clean nice environment.
Early voting was wrapped around the Ford Ice center. I really wish they were open, a cold beverage would have been nice.
Wonderful establishment. Great customer service. Very friendly.
So great to have such a top flight and first class facility like this in Antioch!!!
Great fun for grandson's birthday party with Gnash! Clean, safe, good staff. Thanks for making it "best birthday party ever" said, grandson!
I brought the family here for the first time. This is such a nice clean facility. The employees are helpful and friendly. The public skate want crowded at all. The location is a little weird.... It's on the back end of an old mall. If I remember correctly, the address/directions of the facility on their website were limited to non-existent. Lots of options at the concession stand.
Great, clean place for the whole family. They always have events going in here.
Super clean establishment with good ice for skating of any type. The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
Good place for family fun. There snack bar isn't too badly priced. I don't know about skating prices as i only go to watch SEC club hockey championships. It seems to be a real good time for families and a creative way to get in some exercise.
Very, very clean facility and consistently great service.
I worked your location and I love doing the customer service thing I'm making all of our customers feel at home the vendors inside did a great job in serving all the customers as well
Great clean facility. Unfortunately their website is miss leading... we showed up pretty late in the session and paid full price thinking the session was till 2:00 which is what it says on the website (see screenshot) and then find out it ends at 1:15. When I asked the manager she said that if I clicked on the calendar it says 1:15... how anyone would know to click on it is beyond me... didn t really seemed concerned to leave a poor first impression on a new customer.
Best public ice facility I've seen. Large and clean. We'll run. More than skate rentals, you can rent equipment to play. Great concessions that include beer. Glasses in viewing area lets spectators enjoy viewing games in comfort. Terrific staff.
Good place for a skate. Open hockey can be overbooked.
The public skate is really crowded, which is common but what makes this one worse is the ice is not very well kept.
I'm a pretty novice skater, I'm not going to lie, but the ice was extremely slick and hadn't been resurfaced in a while. My skates slipped a few times due to this...luckily I didn't hit anyone or fall in the process.
The ice skating center is super fun and easy and it doesnt even hurt if u were to fall
Best rink in Nashville. Great facility, great staff.
Love this place. I practically live there. It's nice and clean. And they server beer.
Great place to get involved with hockey, okay in a league, learn to skate, or mess around with such and puck time.
Public skating. Learn to skate. Learn ice hockey. Ice hockey leagues. Nice staff. Great facility.
Best sheets of ice in Nashville, cheap food and drinks, and run by the Preds.
Fun place. Make sure to fill out your waivers online before you go the first time. Sessions for the Public are 1.5 hours long and they have 2 Public Skate Sessions a day on weekends (check their website for a calendar). If you don't fill out the waiver online make sure to get there early enough to fill it out and purchase your tickets/rent skates or you will end up missing most of your time on the ice!
If you are a Black person, stay away from Ford Ice. I've been there several times but I'm always treated very cold. I thought maybe it was one or two rogue employees, but it's all of them. Im a professional, have two advanced degrees, I go there looking decent, so does my little girl, but im always treated like I don't belong there. So it's not about class or behavior, it's a racist environment..I would love to hear other people's experiences, especially if you are of color
Love Ford food little pricey but just like most rinks
Great rinks with lots of instructional classes available for all level of kids
Fun for skating, a rip off for kids parties. I booked a birthday party package for my son which promised to include 4 tickets to a Preds game in the birthday package, and paid in advance. Two years later, I STILL have not received my tickets. I have called and sent several emails without any reply. But I still get solicitation emails.
It is a very nice and interesting sports complex to know
Absolutely beautiful facility with fair pricing and well maintained. The downside I experienced was during stick and shoot; the reason that I was there. It seemed strange to me that 3/5 of the ice was taken up with private lessons that would become vocally angry if you got near them leaving six guys to skate in front of the benches between the blue lines while a coach and child took up 1/4 of the ice running drills.
We love this rink and the staff...it's been our home ice for a few years now and excited to see the growth and development. By far one of the best rinks we do business with...(and we do a lot of hockey business)
Fun experience to have if you enjoy skating or would love to try it! I personally went for a date and it was really fun. My boyfriend was a little more frightened than I expected, but he enjoyed it anyhow. Just make sure you look up available skating slots ahead of time! Fun for the whole family too!
The wait time is just ridiculous. If you wanna skate make sure to get there at least 20 minutes early.
