Lots of interesting artsy stuff going on in a cool setting of old buildings

What a great place! The building alone adds character (it used to be a church) and they had pretty interesting exhibits. I definitely want to go back again.

All the space around each piece of art eliminates distractions and allows the proper time and attention to be given to each piece. Nice layout, nice lighting.

Foothills Art Center was the perfect destination venue to host our 60 guest wedding on July 5, 2019. The exhibit on display and the flow of the entire reservation was perfect. We had our ceremony on their beautiful lawn, the cocktail hour was in the sculpture garden out front and we hosted the reception in the main hall indoors. The acoustics were excellent, and the venue is well air conditioned. Maura worked closely with each of our vendors to make sure they would fit with the venue comfortably. My now husband and I had one of our first dates at this gallery, and I m so grateful will be able to go back and celebrate our wedding every time we visit! Love you Foothills Art Gallery!

FAC is always full of interesting talent art displays but the Holiday Art Mart is especially fabulous.

Beautifully restored former church. Visited at Christmas when there were lots of items appropriate for Christmas present purchases. There were a wide range of prices. We went late on Christmas day and they were OPEN.

Thoughtfully curated exhibits were a pleasure to experience; I am glad to have visited.

Fun art museum, with some interesting rotating exhibits. They don't have a permanent collection so it is always something new. The build and staff are awesome as well.

Really a fabulous Art Center in Golden. A real gem.

Love the space for the art. It's a great use of an olde church. Elements of gothic and romanesque architecture preserved. A bit of Old Golden.
Great selection of artists, of varying media.
Easily walkable (if the sidewalks are clear).

FAC is having it's annual Holiday Art Mart! Lots of local and Colorado art and crafts for sale. Make reservations is the best way to assure entry!

I mostly went to see a friend's tapestry weaving piece; both exhibits were interesting! The AI exhibit is interesting!
