Really great place for the people of this community and surrounding areas

Friendly people. Supplies vary. Sometimes have pet supplies, toiletries available

Awesome volunteers and sometimes great items available to help your food budget stretch. Do not allow yourself to be ashamed of taking advantage of this great resource. The food items donated would frequently otherwise be thrown away and wasted.

Every time I go there I feel very welcome. The volunteers are always nice and very helpful, eventhough the wait can be long at times it's well worth it. They let you walk around and pick out what you know that your family will eat. I recently moved back to the south bend area, born and raised here though the city has changed quite a bit it's still home. And j am glad I was raised here

Amazing place to go for food they give you quite a bit you can only go once a month but definitely worth it truly deserves 5 stars

Very helpful in time of need. However, volunteers and workers can be very snippy and rude and tend to treat people as less than others. Both my husband and I work and don't qualify for any assistance. Times are hard and this helps from time to time. I just wish there was more compassion for the people that come through the doors.

Wait was long but well worth it staff was very curtious

They were very helpful. I did not expect to get so much food let alone fresh fruits and veggies which I have really missed in my diet lately.

Need some type of actual order...no type of functionality with the staff or the process...apperciate the help bit it os ridicoulous how you have to obtain it from them...

I walked out with a grocery cart of food because my family is big I have 4 son's they were very helpful

Every volunteer was so nice and helpful...A came in and the two ladies offered me coffee & cookie. Anne who assigned me a number and greeted with a smile and welcomed with a "happy to see you." The ladies bagging my items were smiling and taking items out of my cart for me. They told me to drive up and a "singing" Happy gentleman put my bags in my trunk... This was my 1st time to get food, but I was greeted warmly from all !! Thank you all for a welcoming experience !!

I give em 3 i was just in there the shelfs were bare they were not trying to fill them up atall

Volunteers are very nice people and you get generous amounts of food. Just try to avoid worker Belinda, she feels she owns the place and has a condescending attitude.

If u are ever in need of food... and going through a rough time.. this is the best help for food .

I have never visited ur place...I have no need...I leave to the ones that need this service.

No food when you are among the last people to get back and shop. Only pastries and bread not a good experience and someone took a box of mine as went to get my carr and i only got a We are sorry Rate a 1

Really busy but the staff do their best and are very polite.Had plenty of food to choose from. Will go again, hopefully, as a volunteer next time.

They give more food to family and friends than a regular person. Every time I go there they count my stuff but the person who was just in front of me didn't have their stuff counted. I have had to put food back because I was over the so called "limit".. Very Prejudice.

First time helping a church. The bank didn't have the order!!!

They were very polite. The inside and outside of the building were very neat and clean. The whole process moved along rather quickly considering the amount of people waiting.

I like the place. Very big. I went for a business. One thing they should work on os checking for opened things, and expiration dates. Something's can still be eaten afyer their dates but some of those things really can not.

Food available to anyone. We need more of these so you dont have to get in line and wait for 6 to 8 hours.

Always has a big variety to choose from an you get a lot . An have a very kind staff

Good place to give to either with time or donations

The wait was ridiculous. Had no bread, no pastries, or meat. I left after an hour waiting and still haven't had my #called to be registered. Need help

Very friendly. I would go early, they never turn people away but quality drops as time goes on. Wear a mask and be safe! I visited on Thursday July 9th.

A great place to get food when you don't have the money to get any. Could use a little more organized entry.

1st time going to the foodbank Dec 2nd. Friendly people, easy drive up open the trunk. I'm 65 yrs and just me at home. I was given 8 bags of apples, seems excessive. 4 bags of oranges half were rotten. Expired milk and eggs. Love the cheese. 3 bags of avocados?? Thankful for the help

The volunteer are the best very nice and food choices are good too.

I have been here to volunteer with my kids' school. It is amazing how much goes into keeping this place going. They serve the local community in many ways with a food pantry and giving bags of food for kids and much more. It is also a distribution center for other, smaller food pantries all over northern indiana. It is a great place to volunteer...there is always something to do. I have been there several times and never did the same thing 2 times.
