Fontana Hotel Bali Review

The security should be further improved ... to secure the hotel ...

I stayed 5 nights here with my extended family including 3 toddlers, which I like. the room is quite spacious. the mattress is not high and there is a sofa bed so the children are safe.
All staff are friendly and fast respond.
There is a 24-hour cafe that is suitable for children when they are lazy to go out at night.
there is a mini playground too.
nice place. clean. large parking area.
plus ... right and left lots of stalls and food and minimarkets.
everywhere near.
recommended for budget hotels

Basically everything was good i stayed with my bestfriend there. The price i got is so cheap and amazingly worth it ! I will definitely go back to stay there. Just maybe need to fix the bathroom floor is too slippery and i almost fell down but its ok i enjoyed staying there.

I was there for two different bookings.
First for three nights when I arrived im Bali. Te arranged pick up went perfect and the driver was very nice.
The staff is very friendly and the hotel is furnished in a modern and stylish way.

The hotel was very kind and helpful by storing my luggage for 3 days as long as I have a booking again afterwards with them (logical).

Negative:
The breakfast is good and mixed with Asian and European food, however it is every day more or less the same (some potatoes, chicken in a sauce, rice in a daily in different form etc.) also some cheese or ham is missing. What I want to say is that for 2 weeks holiday this would definitely get boring. Also, the coffee is not really good (American type from a big can)

Also as mentioned, you cannot walk to the beach, well you can but it is a 30 minute walk.

Conclusion
In all, a great stay and a nice hotel. Best for shorter stays and to explore the area.

It's an awesome hotel with the comfortable stay and helpful staff and the breakfast is simply amazing ,with clean rooms and near to the Kuta Beach and market

The staffs and the GM welcomed us really nice. I recommend you their cafe for hanging out with friends and remote working. They have 2 kind of ambience. First one is the cafe, where you can sip cocktail or coffee with chilling music inside or outside the cafe. That makes you feels like you're in the heart of Seminyak. The second ambience is around the pool area that is surrounded by trees and many plants which makes you feel like in Ubud. About the price, they offer affordable price for f&b at cafe.A pieace of a creamy strawberry cake that i tasted was not sweet which is a good thing.

The place is comfortable, the food is delicious, the service is friendly, the all in service is satisfying ..

Good hotel which is well located, several shops and restaurants close to the hotel. The staff is great, always smiling and very friendly.
At the level of the room, it lacks space to store clothes and lacks a bit of cleanliness in the bathroom.

First time staying here: Fast and friendly check in and out service, the condition of the room is also clean, the mattress is comfortable, the bathroom is smooth, the air conditioner is cold, the tv is not a chanel The condition of the hotel is comfortable, garden grounds, nice swimming pool, easy parking. Only a problem at breakfast. The menu is not much and the taste is not good

Strategic location for who people like culinary, nice atmospire and good breakfast with many variety. In the room have complate facility with slipper. Clean and comfort.

Contemporary and cozy architecture, room service is OK but my room washtafel is broken, but the food is delicious so I like it over all

Overall pleasant stay, I would stay again.

Positive:
Friendliness and attentiveness of the staff.
Pleasant and comfortable rooms, with fridge and water boiler.
Pool area
Wide selection of international TV channels and good WiFi connection.
Diverse breakfast selection, buffet style.

To improve:
Lighting in the bathroom is pleasant, but less practical when shaving or doing make up
Location, though it is still possible to walk to the beach
Bedlight switch was defect
Besides daily cleaning I would recommend periodically deep cleaning, e.g. removing scale in the shower area

i stayed for 10 days here, the service is great, the room is very clean and comfy.

I have stayed for more than a month & their hospitality is really good. Everyone in the staff is always ready to help you in the way possible.
Room is really good & they have even upgraded my room to suite category without any extra charges.

Food quality is also good & best part about their hotel is that they have Sunny16cafe which is part of the hotel itself & opens 24 hours.

Overall I would like to give 5 Star & I would always recommend to my friends & family as well

The location of the hotel is very strategic around Kuta. The rooms are big and clean. All AC Shower TV facilities work well. The swimming pool is adequate for my taste, well maintained and the water is clean. Very nice!

I came here with high expectation with a good name of Fontana Hotel as 4 stars Hotel. Overall my experience regarding the hotel was quite nice. I always love spacious bathroom, which is you had in superior room in this hotel. Love the bed size, the aircon is great.
The breakfast is need to be improve, the taste, the variant, and the presentation is worst than you expected. So far from Sunny 16 images which is have a tasty food and coffee, staff in the breakfast not helping much and more sweet and kind to non-Indonesian guest. One major problem regarding somehow they called "hotel policy". When I came to the hotel around 3.40 pm, i asked the security where is the motorbike parking lot, and he asked me a bit rude "what is your purpose in the hotel?" i said to him i want to check in in the hotel because i have reservation. And then he is not even apologize to me and show me the parking lot location. This issues not stop there, I stay with my little sister, who came two hours after me check in, when my sister came, she asked security nicely to be info where is the motorbike parking lot. As the security respond to asked her ID to exchanged with Visitor Badge. She then explained that she's stay at the hotel, info the security our room number and she even said that she is a guest there. But the security still asking her ID and exchanged it to visitor badge that she have to wear. Which is odd, that no one guest in the hotel wear those badge same like her. I asked the front office to explained why she have to wear those, why they dont believe that my sister is a guest there and insist to gave her the badge. They said is policy to all guest. And two hours later, i asked my friend which is she is not Indonesian to came over, and the security not even asked her purpose to come to hotel, what is her room number or ID. She just came with her motorbike and enter easily. If this racism towards indonesian guest, guess so. And then we thinking maybe they are like this just because we came as complimentary guest. Which is believe those attitude is not reflection of hotelier at all. Even we are there as complimentary we are still guest, even we are Indonesian doesnt meant we dont have money or we cant pay and deserve to be treated like those. Maybe this is the problem among hotel in Kuta, but they should know and can knows differences which one is a call girl and which one is guest. I believe Fontana can do it better regarding this matter.

For trips to the depths of the island has a good location but modest

a comfortable hotel with a position flanked by many snacks from coffee shops, angkribgan to coffee ....
the pool is clean
really recommended for a place to stay while on vacation in BALI
the implementation of the process which is strict but not rigid makes tourists feel safe and comfortable ....

My partner and I booked this hotel thinking that it was going to be the best option and it wasn't. Even though the room was clean, I asked for a room with a view and they gave us a room looking to the beside part. We also saw mice in the hall more than once, very disgusting. Also the hotel isn't very close to bars or even restaurants area and the price is very expensive. I don't recommend it. You can find same type of places for a better price.

Room
Look of the room was pretty ok. Personally, we didn t like Interiors of the room. Placement of the TV near to mirror and light, wall hanging etc.. May be, we noted the differences as we stayed in a resort in Ubud before coming here.
Toilet hand faucet had some water problem. Bath area didn t have a proper draining. (specific to room no. 322).
Room was a non-smoking room, but most of them were smoking in neighboring balconies, and we could get the smell even inside the room, which was very bad.
Towels were looking as if they were not washed properly for ages.
We had a disturbed sleep as you can hear noises outside the room.

Amenities
Swimming pool was good and maintained properly.

Restaurant
Breakfast menu was a wide spread buffet, but none of the items kept upto the taste. Breads, croissants didn t taste good either.

Finally, stay here only when you have an entire day outside and coming back only for sleeping.

The cafe is cozy and open for 24 hours, nice place to late meet up around Kuta area

Nice experence, staff were polite and cooperating, ambience also satistactory, rooms are not bad, tasty breakfast.

The rooms are quite clean, spacious, the pillows are also good, the mattresses are not cheap ... the reception is friendly ... the price is cheap maybe because of Covid

Recommended on priority to stay @ a seclude hotel with easy access

1) on our first day we requested late check out as our flight was 9pm. We were advised that no rooms available. Fair enough. Then I checked on booking and there were plenty of rooMs. I confronted front desk. They said oh yeah we have rooms but if you want late check out u need to book extra full day !! We asked to stay longer 4-5 hours not 24 hours !

2) the bathroom really smells ... they should invest money in better ventilation or the rooms just stinks

3) windows are not sounds proof at all.. so everyday you have wake up alarm made by children screaming at the pool

4) the have 24 hours coffee !! Perfect ... well if you drink diary ... otherwise soy milk seems to be to complicated to have it !!

I loved the hotel in first time we stayed there ... I really did not like this time. The quality went down a lot !!! We won t stay again and I won t recommend it to my friends and coworkers
