Historic building with beautiful theater room. Currently (2019-2020), pending restoration works, the space is not used as a theater but for temporary exhibitions.

Tremendously tight seats, so much so that in order to pass people have to practically pass over you if they are in a more internal place and you are already seated. Literally, I'm not kidding, the knees are resting on the back of the one in front, I came out of there that I almost had to do rehabilitation to get back to walking properly xD

Apart from this, however, the place is nice, good audio and pleasant events, inside there is a waiting room with various books to browse and tables to stop and read, the place itself is very pleasant.

A theater to rediscover !! authentic and from another era!

This is one of the most important and famous theaters in Rome, opened 300 years ago. The world premiere of the works of Donizetti and also "Six characters in search of an author" by Pirandello take place here. The occupation of the Valle Theater takes place in 2011, when the Theater, due to a dismissal of the Italian Theater Authority, is closed. We hope that the Theater - which passed ownership of the Municipality - manages it well for restoration projects!
