I went on the occasion of the flea market in the Cathedral of Sant'Agostino ... it is a very charming and evocative place where sometimes they also make theatrical performances and a museum. To visit.

Winner of the prestigious Ubu award, the Teatro della Tosse has been promoting an innovative and popular theater for years. a breath of fresh air in the dusty programming of other local realities. The program for schools is always rich and well-organized by age. Upon arrival, the class seats are already set up so that the little ones occupy the first rows. Robin Hood tickets are guaranteed to guarantee the participation of children belonging to families in economic difficulties.

I saw the show "Noises out of scheme" freely taken from "Noises out of scene" represented by middle school students. All good and the welcoming theater. It is an important theater for our city because it represents the alternative to the more classical theater. Enthusiastic!

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Genoa, practically next to what used to be the small arona of Genoa: given the narrow spaces, you couldn't ask for more. The atmosphere is informal and allows many artists to have a space within which to perform.

The Cough in the Family: I made the subscription and saw 4 shows, extremely poor and sad, null sets, monologues or max 2 actors on stage, a little better external productions but always a profound disappointment for a Genoese who did not see the time to introduce his son to the magic of theater for children, mindful of the fantastic productions of the 80s.

The Teatro della Tosse, home to the historic theater of Sant 'Agostino, over the years has been able to amalgamate cultured and popular, experimental and spectacular theater. Thanks to the theater companies, the directories and the fairy-tale scenographies of Emanuele Luzzati, it is perhaps the theater whose original identity is still more strongly felt by the Genoese.

The theater is in a really cool part of town only 5 minutes from Piazza Ferrari on foot. Only residents with a special pass can use their cars, so be prepared to walk up and down hill. The auditorium is on a very steep rake which makes for a great view of the stage from every seat.
Bar service with snacks and an activity area for the kids.
Great find!

Definitely suggestive place ... unmissable entrance hall with a beautiful glimpse of the church in front and full of characteristic posters of past performances! Unfortunately, my attendance was linked to a course; I hope to come back soon for a show!

A year ago I was a spectator of the beautiful show dedicated to Halprin.
This year I brought my group here to demonstrate our work: I wanted to congratulate the technicians and all the organizational staff. All situations have been handled with great professionalism. Thank you

Absolutely the best theater in Genoa with its offer of national and international shows, often sought after or avant-garde. All packed up as regards the productions of the Cough, from directing to acting, to costumes and, the flagship, the sets. Often there are free events in the foyer, with music, singing, debates. Intimate and welcoming atmosphere, all very willing to give information or welcome. In short: a second home.
