Exceptional structure and a special mention to tt the team that follows me of the angels in primis the doctor pia leon

For an important pathology I contacted the Eye Bank on the recommendation of my ophthalmologist.
Here, and in the hospital in Venice, I found great professionalism and kindness from everyone. In particular, I was operated on in both eyes by the talented doctor Leon whom I sincerely thank.

The need for others and continuous training is so unique that you can already understand it from outside. H.24 in relation to presidii asl. Better than this.

In 2017, at the age of 54, I was diagnosed by my trusted ophthalmologist with a corneal problem in both eyes, Fuch's syndrome, and on his advice in the first months of 2018 I turned to the Bank of the Eyes of the Veneto as excellence in the national field. From the first contact with the medical team of the foundation, I received clear information on the path I would have to face, with precise indications on the type of corneal surgery, the risks that this entailed, clear and detailed instructions for the organization of the hospital stay and times recovery. Both during the pre-operative period and in the phases of interventions and convalescence I was followed with the highest professionalism and scrupulously. After several months I can say that, even if I live in another region, I am very happy to have turned to this structure because I have obtained excellent results and I feel I can advise anyone who needs to contact the foundation with the utmost confidence. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff, with a special thanks to Dr. Leon for everything she has done and continues to do for me.

In October 2019 I had a lamellar cornea transplant at the Venice hospital. I was personally followed by Dr. Pia Leon, a person of incredible humanity and excellent professionalism. In Verona, the country where I live, I received a lot of compliments from the doctors who visited me for the perfectly performed surgery and today, several months later, my eye is back to seeing 10 tenths and it is a healthy eye that has recovered all functionality. Thanks to Dr. Leon, I found a blond angel who followed and encouraged me before, during and after the entire journey.

For many years I have been followed by the Banca degli Occhi of Mestre, I can say that they are all great professionals, doctors, nurses, technicians and operators, I have always found the utmost professionalism, courtesy and availability. I had a transplant, cataract and glaucoma, and I can say the best of all, I can guarantee that I have always had super qualified assistance.
