Top notch company professional not the cheapest but you get what you pay for locally owned no sub contractors and honest

They do not offer Hardie board or vinyl work despite having it on the webpage.

The installer did an outstanding job and the windows look great. The wrong door was ordered but they ordered a new one while they were here. Great Service !

Just a note to say I had Mike, the measurement guy, out at 10:30 this morning (05/01/20) for my window project. He is a top-notch and knowledgeable in every aspect of my window purchase. He is the kind of employee that makes the consumer very satisfied with the choice they make when undertaking a large family expense.
So far, Brian (my salesman), and Mike are representing Folkers in a very professional manner. These two guys certainly help the customer understand the underlying steps with the decision the customer must make when contracting a major window renewal project.
The installation team, Aaron and Anthony came exactly when scheduled early 07/07/20. These young men were unbelievable in their skills. As I watched, listened, and learned, the two functioned as a coordinated team in every aspect. Verbal exchanges between the two were always centered on completing the task and often anticipated by the other. Supplies were at hand, and work areas kept clean, both inside and out, before moving on to the next window. These two men worked like clockwork throughout the day till the final walk around. I have recommended Folkers to two of my neighbors so far and they re currently in contract.

I own a rental home in Niceville, FL, but live thousands of mile away. It came time to replace the original (contractor grade) windows in my home and I did a good deal of research to ensure that I chose the right company, with the right product, at the right price. I met with several representatives from other companies, and Folkers Window Company was clearly a cut above the rest. I was present for the installation and the crew did an outstanding job. They installed more than 20 windows in less than two days and left the home in a condition that was equal to the condition as to when they started.

Did work for my neighbor and left a bunch a trash laying in the street which blew around the neighborhood and into my yard after they were gone.

Everything went extremely well. The door had to be custom made to fit the opening. We were asked what features we wanted in the door and the salesperson inquired about items we had not even thought about. Installation was very professional and thorough. Folker's did all of the legwork also in acquiring the work permit which was quickly signed off on when the inspector reviewed the work. Awesome stuff! We paid more for the service and quality; however, it was well worth the money spent.

Folkers was not my first choice as I was unfamiliar with them.
But I am truly glad that I went with them for my hurricane preparation needs. The customer service lady I spoke to was very helpful in helping me find an appointment to fit my schedule. The salesperson was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the product and helped me find the perfect fit for my needs. I was not there for the install but my brother was and said they went the extra mile to get the job done right. I looked at the work the next day and was very pleased with the results. The place looks great and my AC doesnt seem to work as hard! I am thrilled with Folkers and would recommend them to anyone! The real test will be when the next 'Ivan' hits but it wouldn't break my heart if I never saw another again. Thank you Folkers!

We have been experiencing leaks around our windows. We contacted Folkers window Company to have the windows replaced. The salesman that came out and gave us an estimate was very professional and provided us a very fair quote. He did explain that there may problems that may or may not be associated with the windows. When the gentleman came out to take the measurements for the windows he very quickly determined that the leaks were not associated with the windows at all. He was very informative and offered advice on how we should proceed to find out what was causing the leak. The people were all professional and helpful and I will use Folkers when I do get the leak fixed and am prepared to upgrade my windows. Professional, reputable and fair.

The window screens are not fitting snuggly on the vertical sides 1/8 to 1/inch gaps on three small window screens. Love the windows and the look

What a great company! From Hilton who came to or home twice and gave us additional information several times by phone and email. We had 5 quotes and Folkers definitely stood out. The installers were amazing Daryl and Irwin (Jay) were professional and friendly and did a superior job installing our 15 windows. Everyone we dealt with including Ruth at Folkers were customer service oriented and true assets to the company!

Over the last 3 days, I have contacted Folkers here in Pensacola three times requesting that someone in shutter repair call me concerning a shutter repair. After Hurricane Ivan in September 2004, I had installed in my home a total of 9 Hurrricane Rated Rolldown Shutters installed on my home by Folkers and for the last two remaining windows, I purchased the Hurricane Fabricate also from Folkers. Over the last 10 years, I have had motors and slates replaced. After calling twice and receiving no return call, I have just moved in with another company in the area and they responded to my call immediately and did the repair within a day. You won't get my business if you don't return my call. I was looking to have Hurricane Rated Rolldown Shutters installed on the entrance door and exit door of my home as a result of a recent "Wind Mitigation Inspection." I called Folkers and spoke to secretary that was really nice but the earliest appointment was over a week away. Again I went to a different company, and yes, a representive was at my home the next day, and the day following we closed the deal for $3700. Perhaps my job was too small for Folkers, or perhaps they were really busy, but not to return my calls...now that just isn't good business.

We are very happy with our Folkers windows, the quality is very apparent. The installation was not completed with the expertise we would have expected, given the cost and all of the statements of the salesperson-Tyler McTigrit, that told us their installers are all very seasoned and have been with the company for a long time. After several phone calls to the sales person, management had to get involved. Then corrections were made in a satisfactory way. I would recommend Folkers Windows but I would also caution you to be sure and check all the work as it s being done and that the windows and doors you think you are purchasing, is what is being installed. Also know your scheduled installation is a moving target, it takes a lot longer to receive materials. In our case anyway.

Tyler came out to give me a quote for window replacement of 11 windows. He arrived on time, was personable, and knowledgeable about the product. The quote was within reason for what I was asking for. I loved that their windows were all energy efficient and included screens. The only downside would be that installation would take over a month. However, with Folkers reputation and the recent Hurricanes it is completely understandable that there would be a backorder.

Mr Darren called to say that he was running early and asked if he could show up early. Once he arrived, he was polite, professional, and knowledgeable.

Tyler was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He explained the entire process and answered all of our questions. In our opinion he is an asset to Folkers.

I can't say enough about the quality of products and workmanship as well as the integrity of this company. We had hurricane windows and doors put in our home and were 100% satisfied. Everyone was wonderful to work with, and very responsive to our needs.

We were pleased with the previous windows Folkers installed in our condo and chose Folkers again because of the quality of the windows and the fine service of installation.

They did an excellent job on installing 17 high impact Viwinco Oceanview windows over 2.5 days, cleaning up well after themselves and mudding drywall where needed. This included removing before and replacing afterwards all window treatments, including interior shutters. Everything looks great!

Only problem was they accidentally broke my outside internet cable line... waiting on the ATT tech as we speak.

Mike and Logan did great job installing French door off master bedroom. Original frame was not even square but they installed and made adjustments as needed to make sure new door was square and operated smoothly. They also provided instructions on scheduling installation inspection. Folkers made it easy. Many thanks.

The salesman, Rod Hamilton, was FANTASTIC! After explaining exactly what I was looking for in an upgraded door, color, and most importantly security, he found the PERFECT door to satisfy my requirements and it looks FABULOUS as well. He did not promise more than the installation team could deliver, he even called to ensure they came on time, and stopped by after installation to see how the new door looked and verify my complete satisfaction ... now that's service!!!

Folkers did two projects for me after I moved into my "new" 24 year old house. I thought i needed new window - but they informed me that I needed new glass in the several that had broken seals. First estimate I got from another company was $5,000. Folkers charged $1,500. They also replaced my double front doors with glass doors. The door vendor sent a malfunctioning door. Folkers got it replaced, no charge to me. It took several weeks, and I believe that Folkers called that vendor every day for several weeks! Their people are professional, personable and prompt.

If your looking for someone to replace your windows, look no further !!! I would highly recommend Folkers for the job work. They have replaced all of the windows in a newly renovated home and they were quick, professional and cost effective. I have used then in the past and will use them again in the future, if needed.

Installers were on time to replace 2 exterior doors units, were careful to remove old doors and put in the new ones, properly sealed, caulked, touched up with paint as needed, replaced door knobs and locks securely ensuring keys worked. No drafts, no gaps, doors close easily. Left premises clean and hauled away old doors. Answered questions, polite, efficient workmen. Very pleased with results. Glad we chose Folkers.

House was left clean internally and also the exterior with no evidence of the work that had taken place.

We had Folker's install our new windows, vinyl siding around top part of house, install new doors, and also new shutters on our home. We were kept up-to-date of installation dates through phone calls and emails, also received emails on delay issues. We had two very polite and experienced workers from Folkers install our product and they did an excellent job. They always made sure that everything was cleaned up before they left each day, it took 5 days to get it all done. They also was very nice about my picky things. The sales rep did a good job explaining everything and was always a call away to answer questions or if I emailed him he responded quickly. I had an issue with my doors and the matter was resolved very quickly and taking care of with no hesitation. I highly recommend Folkers to anyone needing new windows, doors, vinyl siding, shutters.

It's extremely hard these days to find any company that is professional and takes pride in what they do. Folkers is just that kind of company. They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it and no surprises during the entire process. If you need replacement windows, hire this company! I wanted to take the time to write a little about my experience with your company that might help someone else if you wish to share this.

My wife and I purchased a second home in Gulf Breeze in 2014. Our primary residence is in Colorado right now, with Gulf Breeze being the location we plan to retire to. One of the projects we needed to address was doors and windows. When we purchased the home, the doors and windows were not wind or impact rated. This was NOT a project we wanted to do, due to the large number of windows and doors that needed to be dealt with.

We don t have a lot of family or friends yet in the Pensacola area who had any experience with this kind or size of project, so we were on our own to find the right contractor.

We had searched the internet and spoke to about 5 contractors. But in the end, we opted to only get a bid from one, Folkers. Being in the construction business all my life, I know that getting multiple bids is a standard practice. But I also know, that in many cases, a low bid may prompt you to shy away from the right contractor just due to price. But there was just something in the dialog I had with Folkers over the other contractors that led me to trust them. So, I can t comment directly on their price competitiveness, but based on my construction experience and rough budgeting, I think I got a heck of a value overall.

We were looking for the best value, not necessarily the lowest price. We needed an honest, trustworthy, skilled and conscientious contractor, as a lot of work would have to be performed on our home when we were not there. And that is a scary prospect considering the scope of the project. We had roughly 50 windows of all sizes and shapes, we had several French doors we changed to sliding glass doors (one of them was a twelve-foot slider), we had other sliding doors that were updated to impact resistant doors, all windows had interior shutters, all doors had blinds, we had the front door replaced with new side lights, a new front storm door and new hardware for everything. All in all this was a six figure project, with a lot of detail.

In the end, working with Folkers on a project of this size and complexity, proved to be one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding home construction or improvement. And I have done quite a bit of both over the years and have been involved in several horror stories with contractors.

I can t stress enough how much care the crews took when working on our home. These guys were like magicians. They would show up, and were tearing out major portions of my house, and when they left for the day, you would hardly know they were there. This project took several weeks, much of the time with two crews going full bore and much of that time we were not there. And when compete, EVERYTHING in my home was as though nothing had happened. They had told me their goal was for the house to look as though they were never there. And there is no way they could have gotten any closer to that goal. I knew there would be some touch up paint etc. required, but was shocked at how little there was, based on the large amount of work done.

In summary, all I can say, is that I would work with them again without question. If you decide to get multiple bids, and they are not the low contractor, you MUST calculate what the total cost is at the end of the day, including your peace of mind, lifetime warranty, work you will have to do when the contractor is done etc. And I am confident, if you include everything in your decision, Folkers will be your contractor too.

Third time using Folkers, new windows installed in the whole house, windows came in about 8 weeks installation was going well, when one window would not open correctly, manufacture had to come out and measure the window another 7 weeks , finally the window fits perfectly, from start to finish it was 5 months. Things happen, but it was worth the wait, all the people I have come in contact with at Folkers have been polite and courteous, would not hesitate to use them again.

He said their work was of high quality and that they were a local company that had been in business for many years and was quite reliable. He was correct , I was able to get a quick response and estimate by Folkers . Even though they were busy , I got the windows installed and job done before the date quoted. I had Folkers install all new windows in my home and I wanted to share my experiences. First of all while Folkers was gathering my windows and all of the hardware they kept me updated on the process so I was never in the dark. When they called to set up the appointment for the instillation the crew was on time and extremely curtious. The gentleman installing my windows were personable, they were clean and overall very professional, even when it started to rain the crew didnt complain or extend the process to install my windows. I would absolutely use this company again for any more window or door needs. My overall experience using the company was absolutely fantastic.

Their installation team was awesome! I have nothing but praise for their work. The office staff, not so much. We ordered the window replacement very early this year and they never called. I called several times and on the second call the same response was given. That was they were waiting on two Windows to arrive. After explaining that to them, things moved quicker.
I recommend this company as the windows are amazing, you just need to keep in touch with the office staff as they will not.

My windows are beautiful. I am very satisfied! Installers were knowledgeable, polite, and professional!

Note: the problem here was with the actual windows, not installation or cost from Folkers. Avoid windows with plastic hardware (many new homes have this though), that are difficult to operate, or when a twisting effect can be seen when operating the window. It takes a while to receive windows after an order is placed, so no telling where they are made. Ask about that.

I had one window that appeared to have leaked, although there is a slight chance this was due to existing flashing. If your window has an overhanging roof, this should not be a concern.

The other window was very hard to operate and got harder with time. One morning, while I was about 10 feet away, the glass broke by itself! (The screen was not damaged.) Apparently there was so much twisting stress on the glass, and so little support from the frame, as it warmed in the sun, the outer pane broke. It appears that in operating the window, force was not evenly distributed on the frame parts; a gooey tar like substance between the glass panes gripped the glass unevenly, and seemed to prevent it from adjusting, or slipping, as the outer pane expanded in the heat.
The fault lies with window maker, and most window installers probably outsource manufacture.

We were very pleased with our technicians on the installation of our new windows. They did a great job and cleaned up everything so well. Our salesman was very knowledgeable. We love our new windows and highly recommend Folkers!

The best window and door company. Had 13 impact windows installed. Completely stress free from estimate to install, the installers were professional and courteous, they cleaned as they went, 5 hours from start to finish, true craftmanship. Low e windows have made a noticeable difference in my electric bill and no more plywood during storms now. Thank you Folkers!

We recently had impact resistant windows put in our house. The installers, Laprell, Mark, Sean, and one other(I can t remember his name) did a fabulous job with our windows. They were very neat, tidy and detail oriented with their work. They made sure everything worked properly and answered any questions that I had.

The first thing I noticed was how punctual the team was. Arrived on time each day and hit the ground running. Good workmanship and friendly. I will use them again.

The workers where on time and very professional. The windows where installed in a timely manor. The sales person was very knowledgeable on the process and about the windows, what I didn t like about the process is they didn t explain the types and styles of window for instance they never told us about frosted glass for the bathroom so we have a clear window in our bathroom. When it is your first time purchasing windows you don t think about little things like that.

We have done business with Folkers since the 1990 s. They have ALWAYS been amazing and after moving here in 2007, we don t even shop around for work in their field. We simply call Folkers. IF this last major purchase (around 15k) was our first experience with the company, it would have been the last. The order was placed in November ~ 3 new garage doors and 3 new entry doors. The work was finally finished about a month ago. Installers were awesome ~ none of the ridiculous delays were Covid related. WE had to initiate virtually every aspect of the completion process. As valued customers (or so we thought) I think we expected more. The $300 credit Kip offered....was a bit of a disappointing surprise. That was Folkers solution. Office staff fielding my calls were ALWAYS very courteous. We simply felt 8 months for a relatively simple order (because they have already replaced every single window and other exterior doors in this home) without communication - better discounting- anything from either Kip, our rep, or ?? is inexcusable for a business such as Folkers. Very disappointing experience. We hope this is not their new customer service approach.

Folkers is my go to company for all windows, doors, and now for future bath upgrades. I have never been treated so well by such wonderful people. They installed all new hurricane widows and one new hurricane door. Everyone at Folkers from the owner to the sales manager to the office folks and down to the installers were just wonderful. OK. So you can get great products and installation from Folkers. But here is the key: the owner and sales manager are men of great honesty and integrity. There was an issue with the job regarding a promise the salesman made to my wife. It was not in writing in the contract. The owner and sales manager made everything right even though they were under no obligation to do so--all based on what their salesman verbally told us. You just don't get better folks to deal with than that. Honesty and integrity are not abundant in the contracting/construction arena, but they are at Folkers. Note that I do not give praise easy. Folders earned every word of my review..

Spoke with sales rep from manufacturer. Price of door $3600 and includes screen door and track. The $4000 price charged by Folkers did not include screen or track. BUYER BEWARE of quoted prices from Folkerrs..... Weather strip that was finally removed and should have not been there was for the screen doors that were not provided. The demands were clearly stated to office manager the day after installation. They were to remove weather strip , provide white powder coated screws to replace visible stainless screws on inside and outside of door. The trim was not installed correctly and after a week of requests it was fixed correctly. After a few days of use the door locks did NOT work and once again after several requests the locks were properly installed. These issues could have been easily addressed, instead many requests had to be made for proper installation. No added parts requested only the track for screen door which according to manufacturer should have been provided and installed. payment was held until all issues were addressed as requested. If payment was not withheld I am confident issues would not have been addressed.

Maufacturer does quote prices to "honest" contractors. The lock was neither manipulated or abused, just installed incorrectly that is why it failed after only a few days of use. To insinuate this about a customer who spent $8000 with you gives all customers a clear understanding about your customer service. Furthermore the doors are "under warranty" and lock should be fixed without question or insult. Customer service starts at the top. Terms were never violated as the issues could have been easily addressed the day of installation. Once they were finally addressed cash was paid immediately to repairman. Aesthetics are what we pay for when paying $8000 for doors. We do expect them to lock properly installed and not have 10 stainless screw heads visible on a white door. If screens were not to be included in price their should have been a reduction and weather stripping for screens not installed.

There was a problem with the doggie door being too high for my dogs. I contacted Folkers and they sent a technician from their company and also a representative from the manufacturer to correct the problem. It turns out the doggie door was put in upside down at the manufacturer. The two men fixed it at my house in very short order. Also, the Customer Service Manager was extremely helpful in getting this issue resolved. All the people I interacted with were very nice.

Folkers was extremely professional from the start to the conclusion of our project. I could not be more pleased with our windows or our service.

The husband/wife team were punctual, efficient and very conscientious. They were very polite and answered our questions. They did an OUTSTANDING job! I love the fact that the windows are tinted and open in for ease of cleaning.

When the installers arrived they got right to work. They were very professional and answered our questions. My husband manages an Ace Hardware store and he said he will recommend Folkers to any one who needs windows, doors etc. We are very pleased, the windows are beautiful. Thank you so much Terry McGraw

Folkers closed in our back porch 15 years ago which we have loved so much though the years. Recently the hinges on the door going to the outside rusted out and needed replacement. I called them and spoke with Linda and she was able to pull up the original plans and find out what we needed. It took a while for the hinges to be ordered and then get them installed, but it worked really well. The two guys that came to install did a great job.

I recently had windows replaced by Folkers and they did an excellent job. The personnel were courteous and helpful during the entire process from ordering to
installation. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Service was great, always on-time, installers were professional and nice! Quality product. It costs a lot to get a houseful of windows upgraded and I did it in two sessions. The company and employees were always professional. I highly recommend them!
