We purchased tickets in the "away" section, but were allocated seats separated from the away fans by a tarped-off section. It was annoying, and impacted our enjoyment as away fans, but we won the game and Somersby was the available cider, so 3 stars.
Nice place overall. Staff are helpful and easy going. Stadium is well maintained and services all work well.
couldn't be happier except for how expensive the food is
I thought with seating at the footy that there would have e.g. 1people with 2 spare seat eg 3 people with 2 spare seat etc So we would be social distancing. That was not the case. I know there was empty rows was that the social distancing .
A good size, pity about the poor quality over-priced catering for events.
Easy to get to by car and train. Clean and easy to find allocated seats and gate entry locations. Food too expensive especially when taking a large family to an event.
Excellent parent facilities.. makes it much more likely for me to bring my kids

Wonderful stadium, great access by public transport. Outstanding viewing from the Medallion Club seats. Food and beverage prices a bit high, but that's normal for sporting stadiums. Great ambience and atmosphere. Will return often.
Under cover stadium close to train and tram lines. Good for footy and 20 20 cricket.
Had a breakfast there whivh was extremely nice. Coffee was a good blend. The only negative is the council parking rates.$5.40 a hour. What a disgrace.

I had a hideous experience here on the weekend. The elevator wouldn't let us access the floor that we had parked on and when we called security to assist us, he told us to "find a security guard on site (the was none)" and then hung up abruptly and refused to answer our calls. Then I called again on my mobile and a different gentleman from the same department answered and opened the doors for us without an issue. Then, to our our fault, we lost our parking ticket and couldn't get out of the venue. We called them again to sort it out and he yelled at us, told us to find it ourselves, refused to open the gate even though I offered to show my bank statement with the transaction. Finally my Mum was aggressive enough that he called a lady to meet me at one of the elevators to give us access upstairs again, walk all the way to where the security guy was (the other side of the stadium) then I argued with him face to face. He told me that there was a penalty and that I had to leave my card details (not sure why he couldn't get them over the phone and made me walk all that way in heels), an hour and a half later, I was finally exiting the facility ONLY because the lovely woman, Li, that assisted me managed to get him off of his high horse and assured me I wasn't going to be fined for a simple mistake. The whole evening was an absolute nightmare and Guy, the man that was so difficult, should be absolutely ashamed of himself. Thank you Li for all of your help.
Lorraine was a very good guide. Does not have the history of the "G" but well worth the tour and Lorraine was better than Max at the "G"

Attended a function here and was very impressed. Firstly the views from box seats were amazing. You could see the entire floor and the open roof was incredible. The food was delicious and staff very accomodating. They even gave us little take away lunch boxes we could take home with us at the end of the function. Every little detail was thought about. The onky downside was the confusing parking and navigation to the function rooms.

Parking facilities are great and not expensive at all. Walking distance from the Southern Cross Train station. Went for the big bash final and loved it. Waiting for the footy season to begin and go more.
Very difficult to access via public transport from outer suburbs. Three trains from Dandenong. Why ?????
We were part of a 45,000 crowd, for the International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. Marvel Stadium staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful. Marvel Stadium itself is people friendly, with amenities within easy reach. A VERY pleasant and memorable experience.
No healthy food available to purchase all junk food

Once you understand the parking and gate entrance with the help from their friendly staff...not a problem...Could be cheaper parking and food...Great Stadium

Although the venue is nice your like a sheep in a race when leaving as you exit a walkway till reaching the train station. They hate cash money hear so be shore to bring a card "NOT CASH" .
The food is very average but they do have to cater for thousands so to be expected

It's a great place when your team wins. It's close to Southern Cross train station and easy to navigate your way around. Staff are friendly. Beer is outrageously priced and it is better to bring your own food in. The take away hot food inside is poor quality. But in the end it's not a restaurant, you are here to watch a game, and for the game itself it is quite good.

Its a massive stadium. However tiolets aren't the best neither are the exiting facilities

Hmmm... crowd of over 50,000 for a concert and you have to wait 53min to get a drink. Hire more staff for better patron service. Also you have a roof so use it BEFORE it rains !
a better convey venue than dorru venue and there should be parking assistants on exit not just entry... exciting is harder.
Not a huge fan, acoustics aren't very good at live concerts.
