This is the worst company you can use to ship. The bad thing is that a lot of companies like Road Runner and other use them to pick up. They told me today go and look for someone else we are not going to pick your stuff up. They told me I am located in a Storage Unit and i actually have two 2000sqft warehouse units side by side and i have several 53 ft semi trucks coming delivery and pick up stuff. I booked 3 days ago with Road Runner and they use them to pick up. Ridicules and Rude people!
I am sure they will change their mind if the NEWS is knocking on their door and if carriers will drop them for their way doing business and their attitude to customers. CRAZY!!!

Fantastic company. My furniture delivery was on time. Exactly on time. When does that happen. Scheduling was a breeze. Driver was one of the nicest we ve ever had. Quick. Courteous. Made sure to take his time as to not damage anything. Highly recommended. Will definitely use again. Thanks for the great experience.

This is in response to your review Elody Krieger. First off the customer service aspect you speak of. After hearing about your complaint with this delivery we went the extra mile by sending down our sales manager to meet with you at your home and to look at the stain in your driveway. When our manager arrived he spoke in detail with your husband because evidently you were on the phone. We could hear you telling your husband what to say but you couldn't take the time to discuss this directly. Obviously this was an important matter since you were so quick to post a review but you didn't have 5 minutes of your time to meet with us.
Secondly, your shipment was a liftgate curbside residential delivery weighing over 600lbs and was approximately 5'x5' in dimension. Our driver again went above and beyond of what was required and put your shipment in your garage for you. Otherwise it would have been at the front of your driveway and you would have had to bring this 600lb piece of furniture by hand up to your home.
Thirdly, as you will see in the attached photo, if in the matter of 15 minutes our truck leaked that much oil on your pavers our truck wouldn't have made it through the day let alone finish deliveries in Naples and then back to Fort Myers. Your delivery was made before 11am and the driver made 9 more deliveries after yours that day alone. Not a single customer that he delivered to after you called with any such complaint or issue of leaking. To me if the vehicle was leaking that much surely one of his other 9 deliveries would have called us. If you look at the photo which was taken the same day we delivered to you by our sales manager you can see the color differentiation in the stains which is a clear sign of the different age of the oil stains. Stains that are older tend to be less dark because of the sun's impact on the chemicals. In the photo that was taken isn't it ironic that the 2 largest stains are also the 2 stains that are the lightest in color. Finally, our truck that delivered this shipment to you was a 26' box truck, your driveway to the center of the garage is in excess of 40'. Our driver backed into your driveway and up to the garage to deliver your freight. The cab/engine compartment wasn't even parked in the same location on the driveway as your oil stains. Our straight truck would have had to have been a tractor with a 32' trailer to park over top of where that stain was located.
It's unfortunate that your driveway has stains but what I find most disheartening is that there are people that would actually try and take advantage of companies just to get a handful of driveway pavers replaced. It truly is sad that this is the mentality of so many people nowadays.
I hope that for the next company that you choose to review that you may think twice before hitting post as I cannot take away this review but maybe it will prevent another company from having to defend itself for something that they clearly did not do.

In response to your review Thor. We indeed have now told you that we will no longer pick up from your location. We have had way to many problems with you as a shipper. In the last attempt to pick up freight from your location you wanted our driver to call you 1 hour before so you could be there to send out the shipment. Our driver did exactly that and left a message. After no return call he called again 30 minutes prior. Again you did not answer. He called again 15 minutes prior and again you did not answer. Once he arrived he called into our office and we called you and left a message as again you did not answer. At that point our driver was recalled. Finally after our driver came back to our terminal you called a yelled at our staff person "WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING ME". In which she told you that she was following your instructions to have the driver call 1 hour out and was continuing to try to reach you in order to pick up your shipment. You still yelling said you were at your warehouse in Lehigh and were busy and demanded that we send our truck back out to Cape Coral to pick up your shipment.

And yes we do pick up for a lot of companies and individuals with out a problem what so ever. It was your rudeness and attitude that caused the end of us picking up freight from you. Not to mention the repeated (not just this instance) waste of time trying to pick up your merchandise when you are not there.

Too bad a zero wasn t available on this rating scale. What horrible customer service. First the rude driver backed a huge truck onto my paver driveway. All reputable companies know not to do that. After he left I noticed that the truck left huge oil stains on the drive. I called the company and was lectured about the proper removal procedures for oil stains. Scott Hall, the terminal manager, took no responsibility for the damage, in fact he said stains were to be expected on driveways. So I tried his method, Dawn dishwashing liquid and hot water. After two treatments the stains are still there. I also called Central Freightlines who had subbed out the delivery to Gulf Coast they also took no responsibility but talk to Scott too. The Central employee also said Scott was rude to her. Never use Gulf Coast transportation... ever!

Do Not ever use this company. Your items would never be delivered. I have ordered an item online that offered a very convenient free delivery. I got a call from Scott at Gulf Coast Transportation that HE IS NOT GOING TO DELIVER my item and I need to pick it up by the dock. WOW! I refused.

SCOTT INSISTED FOR ME TO PICK UP THE ITEM IN PERSON AT THE DOCKS! WOW!

REASON # 1: I was told that Scott IS NOT GOING TO DELIVER because he can't find my home on the map!! I noted, the home is located about 2 miles from the center of downtown, the city of about 62,000 in population and the home being there for over 50 years!! It is not like we are talking about in the middle of no where. MY RESPONSE: I was at work and took my valuable time from work to direct him to MAPQUEST and guided him street by street... and he said: "ho yeah, there it is!"

REASON # 2: But in response, Scott said that he is NOT GOING DELIVER because he just MapQuested and it looks like the street is too narrow with trees on the sides.

MY RESPONSE: I was shocked, for all my furniture, the appliances, the washer, the dryer (Here, we are are talking about big trucks!!), the kind size bed and the mattress were delivered to my doors, as well as the the garbage trucks had no issue to drive. He said he will not deliver because he does not know how other deliver company are do it, he is not going to! WOW

I insisted again, offering the suggestion of Dolly.

REASON #3: He said that he needs a signature.
MY RESPONSE: I said OK, I am at work and here what we can do. A.) May I sign a paper and leave my signature at the door? He said yes. I DID! Then B.) I asked him to call me about 10 min before he arrives so I could possible drive up (missing my work) to assist him.... I kindly asked if that would be assertable. He said yes.

I got home on the delivery date, the note was gone but the item was not left... I called office, then I was told that apparently, I was supposed to write on the signed paper that I authorize it. Scott never told me that, Furthermore, I was the one who was suggesting to leave my signature at the door. This time I was recording and asked WHAT EXACTLY NEED TO BE DONE SO THE ITEM WOULD BE DELIVERED! I was told of I want them to deliver I need to pay the delivery fee . I asked to speak to the owner. It was refused I called after hours, leaving VM for the owner, he had never called back My sofa never arrived on time when it was needed. It never arrived

Also, I just saw the owner of Gulfcoast Transportation Systems Bill Edwards posted 5 start review to his own business, answering to someone 1 star a review. It is a violation of Google, conflicts of interest policies and should be investigated.
