This was an amazing experience. It was birthday gift. We were all given jumpsuits and a 20 minute classroom instructions. There are 8 simulators and you shot each other. You have the opportunity to take off and land. Seriously was fun!!!
This was a birthday gift for my oldest and his best friend. They loved it, as they said it's very true to the real thing (both boys are taking classes to become pilots). They also gave them the option to wear "uniform." Maverick and Goose were too cool for them. And at end of it all they also got a print out of how they did.
This place is awesome! Well planned, well laid-out, well operated, and fun as hell. This is a great group activity, but make sure you make a reservation.
I went with four others and it appears up to eight can go at one time.

I was brought here a few years ago for a birthday experience
After sitting through the briefing and minor lecture we proceeded to the simulation pods
The pods would were completely still
I was expecting slight movement(minor tilting)or vibration
When it came time to "fly" the visual quality reminded me of top gun 2(old video game) with graphics turned down
This to me was a waste of time an money
I could have gone to gamestop picked up TG2 and sat in a chair at home
It came to my attention later that the experience for non participants(other members of my party) wasnt interesting for the first 5 minutes before requesting "the game be put on"
I understand people have difficulty with motion or confined spaces but options should be provided if the participants make requests
With motion in mind participants could select this option with a returnable deposit for cleaning services if there is a protein spill
I had a great time with my aviation explorer post. I would recommend it. Its also fun to kinda compete with your friends because they tally up a score at the end.
I never ride any theme park rides and I frequently get motion sick so I was a bit apprehensive about the whole process. However, this experience was amazing! The flight instructors were great and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The planes do not actually move so I never felt queasy or scared at all. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it!
