Flemings Ultimate Garage Review

The car I purchased turned out alright so far at least. I had a lot of issues with the paperwork coming from the dealer however which resulted in a lot of wasted time. The marked up warranty turned out to be bogus too. Oh well for me, but save a headache and look elsewhere.

I worked with Henry in sales . He was extremely knowledgeable in the car industry. He answered all my questions professionally and clearly. He actually took me for a full tour of the shop. Made me feel like part of the family . The numbers are clearly marked on all the vehicles, it makes the buying process much easier. I would highly recommend working with him if you are in the market for a vehicle.

Rich was great to work with! Everything was streamlined and my out of state buying experience could not have been better. I'd highly recommend Flemings Garage for you're next dream ride.

The only reason Fleming's is getting 1 star from me and not 0 is because Trey Wilkins was a great salesman to deal with. He was polite and very understanding. First car I have purchased and should have been a breeze. Well it was everything but that. Getting proper paperwork with the correct information was challenging. I was bullied by the sales manager, Brent White, because I didn't confirm the terms of the financing and claimed "you haven't even paid for the car yet!" even though they had my credit card information to run a deposit (why they didn't is beyond me) and I was waiting for the corrected paperwork to sign to make sure everything was fine. The car shipped after being told everything works with no working power adjustments on either driver or passenger seat and a damaged driver mirror (I understand it's a used car but this stuff could have been pointed out). Now it's almost been 2 months since I have received any copies of paperwork I signed, was suppose to be sent Fed Ex last week and was never sent until this past Monday and now it has been shipped and requires a signature and cannot be left at my house. That would be all fine but I work almost an hour away from my home and now I'm chasing around town for copies of paperwork and tags that they have had and I should have had. I hope this gets better and I would change how I feel, but as of now, this has been quite a cluster of a situation to deal with.

***Update on 6/20/19***
After multiple attempts on requesting copies of paperwork that I signed, I resorted to an attorney to send a demand letter in receiving copies of the paperwork I signed in March. I received them in a couple of days of that letter. The title finally arrived but was not filed with the correct lien information on it. It had no lien information at all. Paid to have the title work done properly. They did offer to fix it and sent the title back to them. Currently, my car is at a Chevy dealership trying to figure out the power seat situation in both seats after being told that everything worked in the car when I bought it. Car is still there to this day. Very disappointing experience. I wish good luck to others because I did not get any.

Dealership might be better but salesman Brenwhit89 flat out lied to me in order to sell the jeep. If that is the type person they have selling than buyer beware. The sales force is the dealership. If you can't trust them go somewhere else to spend your hard earned money. The dealerships shop area looked good but why would they lose the oil pan bolts rather than put the vehicle back together. Sloppy mechanics equal trouble when it comes to cars plain and simple. Brenwhit89 is a tool. BUYER BEWARE.

Some of the coolest cars in the history of the automobile are all gathered here. I was floored at by the knowledgable staff and how absolutely awesome the selection of cars was.

I was interested in a vehicle and spoke with Henry. He was very professional and courteous. He gave me great information on the vehicle I was inquiring about. He very knowledgeable and helped me with my decision tremendously. I would highly recommend Fleming s to anyone who is looking to buy a high end vehicle.

Very veteran friendly! Scott was a pleasure to work with; the whole process was very effective and efficient!

Prior to buying my vehicle, I requested that Flemings take it to my local Jag repair shop for inspection. They agreed, paid for the repairs, and returned it to their store.

After taking possession, a few more problems developed and they were promptly addressed at Flemings. To minimize inconvenience to me, Flemings sent a flatbed to my house and took the car to their shop and returned it via truck with all problems taken care of.

I would not hesitate to buy another car from Flemings, and a special commendation goes to Charley, their service manager, who was unfailingly courteous and did everything he could to ensure our satisfaction.

I really had a great experience here. The staff was very knowledgeable and very polite!

Bought a 1969 camaro from them on line. The car was shipped to me. When it arrived it had a cracked water pump and it was not as nice as they described it. Lost $5,000 on the deal I took the car back right away.

Tony spends more time than you would ever believe looking for cars that are priced right and done right. I respect his efforts and his code of business. I have been doing business with him for three years. He knows classic an exotic cars better than anyone I have ever met. Sometimes things happen, a classic car breaks down (everything does at some point) , Tony is always willing to work with you. I will continue doing business with Flemings Ultimate Garage, They are good people!

My journey to Flemings Ultimate Garage began with an internet ad I found while traveling back to my office. The subject of the ad was a Laguna Seca Boss 302 Mustang. I looked at the black paint and unique red stripes on the car and figured it was sold. But that didn t stop me from making confirmation. I was assigned the task to find a good fast Mustang for my father who turned 90 years old this year. He hasn t aged as I expected and still does his own oil changes and will drive 100 miles to his cottage right after the change.

I called Flemings and spoke to Trey who indicated that the car was still available. Trey described the car with none of the salesman s puffery one might expect from a used car lot. He specified all of the cars features without a hint of exaggeration and left the proverbial ball in my court should I have further interest. I did.

I decided to buy the car premised on the photos and description provided. The transaction went smoothly and seamlessly. The Boss 302 was delivered with a high level of competence and predictability. The sight of the Boss did not disappoint. The body and engine were flawless. Someone must've put rainex on all of the Windows because the water beaded when I washed and waxed the body. I am extremely happy with the purchase and can recommend Flemings Ultimate Garage based upon my experience.

Over the past few months any inquiries I have made in my search for my dream car have been met with friendly and fast replies. Angeline is very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions.

Darrell was very helpful during my search. Polite, not pushy, very helpful with additional information including a pre-purchase inspection. I would try to use him in the future for any purchase at Fleming's!

Purchased a vehicle online through Scott Engle at Flemings. He made the process so quick and easy. Excellent customer service. Awesome top notch cars. When the car arrived it was even better than described online. Was leary to purchase a vehicle online sight unseen, but we were not disappointed!!! Flemings is top notch in the classic car/hot rod/show car industry. Already started saving up for another one!!!!

DO NOT ever buy from Flemings Ultimate Garage or Tony Fleming if you care about your cars or your money. Since I know most of you will not want to read a long review, I started with my recommendation. I intentionally waited a few months to write this review to give Tony Fleming every opportunity to make this situation right. He chose not to. In a nutshell, Flemings, specifically Scott Engle, lied about the condition of the car and when presented with facts of the lies made no effort to correct any grievances. Instead Tony attacked me for calling them out. By the way everything I write in this review, I will be able to back up with texts, emails, pictures, and dealer receipts documenting problems with the car prior to delivery.
I had been in the market for a Gen 5 Viper for a few years. I had had two previous Vipers and was looking for a Gen 5. I specifically wanted a high optioned, very low mileage car in show quality condition, meaning no flaws, no paint issues, perfect interior, etc. The Flemings car was presented as such a car. It was well over a thousand miles away, and because of my work schedule I could not fly out to see it, so I asked for additional pictures and asked many questions to Scott. Here are some quotes from the conversations (all documented via text)

The car is brand new I may be a used car salesman but I m not exaggerating the car is pristine
You will not be disappointed
So, we moved forward. I paid in full. The first sign I should have walked away was when the President of my transport company told me Flemings front office was the rudest he s dealt with in 16 years. The Fleming rep basically said doing business with them was their way or the highway.
The car was unloaded on 3/23 and on 3/24 I texted pictures of the damaged driver seat and the front shock tower oil leak. Scott never responded to the texts. As I found out later, his going dark after the sell was common (shame on me for not better researching his lack of integrity).
When I emailed the issues I discovered with the car, Tony responded that the car would not have left with those issues. When I sent him his own Dodge dealer receipt showing the car did have a leak and Flemings knew about it, he accused me of badgering the witness . I emailed him a few more times asking for the least possible reimbursement for the damages to the car, and at one point he said he made me an offer, which was lie since there was no offer in any email from Tony (again I have them all). And then finally they just went dark. I never heard from them again. I tried multiple additional times with no response, except of course the silent F U.
Let me tell you a little more about this brand new car. It showed up with Driver side front fender paint repair. Of course, according to Tony somehow in the one day I had the car I damaged it, had it poorly repaired and then blamed him. The first time the passenger window was used it fell in the door. Go price that little issue on a Gen 5 Viper, since with Dodge you must pay for the entire window assembly. The departure inspection report accompanying the car was blank. Obviously if they had done even the slightest inspection of this car either when it came in or left, then with any skill or attention to detail at all they would have found the things I ve mentioned.
I m already out thousands to make this car right again. I asked Tony for only $1,345 to cover the interior repair and the shock tower leak. They shipped, they lied, and they made zero effort to resolve.
I m writing this so you will learn from my mistakes and save yourself these problems dealing with Tony or Scott. I ve bought a ton of cars and I know a ton of dealers in the US and even outside. I d be happy to recommend ones that would bend over backwards to make a deal right and to protect their reputation when presented with facts. Flemings Ultimate Garage is not one of them. It s sad, but true, Caveat Emptor.

By far the greatest selection of classic and exotic cars I've ever seen. Some of the coolest staff out there too, they were so polite and hilarious and helped me find the perfect fit for what I was looking for. Sending every car enthusiast I know here!

The folks at Fleming s are a class act. Very professional and down to earth. Even though I was just looking they treated me like a long time customer. I will be back when I m ready to pull the trigger. My sales guy was Henry. He s very nice and easy on the eyes. I WILL be back to see Henry and hopefully buy a car from him in the near future.

Great buying experience. Scott was very prompt in answering emails and returning phone calls. Got a nice car at a fair price. Scott made sure the car was very clean when we picked it up. Tony even took the time to introduce himself and then made sure all questions were answered before we drove away. Would definitely buy from Fleming's again.

Tony Fleming is the definition of slime ball. He is a typical used car salesman with slimeball salespeople working for him. They don t inspect the cars like they say and the are misrepresented. If you buy a car from him look at it yourself in person and inspect every inch of it. This goes for all the other slime bags on the internet too that lie about there cars . Don t trust anyone. No matter how nice they say the cars are they are liars. Always go look at the car yourself with a mechanic period!

Bought a 1966 Fiat 500 that I was told by Eric that it was restored in Italy for them, I was not told about the extensive rust all over the vehicle, but that's what happen when you buy a car online without sending someone to inspect it, I just thought that this place was trustworthy...pictures below

Wife and I just purchased a 70 Chevelle SS LS5. The car was represented and documented as described by the sales person. We got all the information we wanted about the car and went for a nice ride. The car was inspected by the shop and they corrected any defect they found. This was over the top for an "as is" car in my opinion. These are old cars that sit in collectors garages and you except somethings to be in need of repair or adjustment.

We just got back from OC car cruise and car drove perfectly. 12 miles to the gallon.

Some people have complained about the shop. My recommendation for all is to get your car inspected by a classic car inspector. Most of the issues your read here would have been caught early before final purchase.

We will be back at Flemings for a LS6 car in the future.

Brent showed me the cars, their shop, and told me all and everything I needed to know about each car I was interested in. Now I have the info and knowledge in order to make my decision on which car to spend my retirement money. Thanks Brent

My garage is home to 3 vehicles (65' Mustang Fastback, 68' Camaro SS, 71' Camaro Z28). All purchased at Fleming's. I have space to accommodate 4th vehicle. 100% probability vehicle #4 will be an early 1970's Detroit classic powered by Ford muscle, 50/50 Ford to Chevy ratio is a must. 99.9% vehicle #4 will be purchased at Fleming's.

Watched the virtual tour of Fleming's Ultimate Garage and it does not even do the justice of the inventory this place has! COMPLETELY AMAZING!!! I was very impressed with the warranty I was offered on my new sports car and the financing options. Tony is not only a great business man but a good person to know. The entire buying experience was a joy! When you are looking for that exotic car so you can check off one of those "must do" boxes............they will get it done! Will certainly use again if I'm in the market.

I had a great experience buying from Fleming; never bought a Vette sight unseen but Scott (my sales enthusiast) made the process smooth. Everything from financing, shipping to temporary registration was done online, great for the time difference ( I live in Hawaii). The Vette matched the description/pictures on the website, and makes a great companion to my 78 Silver Anniversary.

Only thing I didn't get was a Vette selfie with U-tube star Mr. Fleming. Guess I'll have to wait for the next car I buy from them, ha ha ha!

I contacted Rich Budman about an Aston Martin DB9 and the transaction went well.... until I had the car and decided I did not want to keep it. No problem for Rich, just a hassle that I created and had to deal with.
Rich could not have been more calm and responsive. He had a car that he knew I would be happy with and he was right. Rich helped me back out of the Aston and into a Maserati. The cars are really nice but it's the people at the dealership that make this place a must visit location. Even if you are a dreamer for an exotic or classic car, this place is worth a trip to. The eye candy will satisfy almost everyone. The car I purchased, 1969 Camaro Z28, got looks from a lot of people before I got into 4th gear leaving the place!! Facebook friends blew my account up commenting once I posted some pics of the car. From salesman and sales manager to service boss to the husband/wife team owners, I enjoyed my experience. Now to the drive ins and car shows!!
