Wonderful view of the mountains during the day and the lights of Boulder at night. Service was great, many intermezzo courses and delicious food. They gave a custom printed menu with congratulations for our anniversary, and a pretty dessert. Scallop appetizer was great, and pickled pear cocktail although most people order wine. My company has their annual employee party their and well I believe most people are meat eaters so they don't share my non meat eating menu. I don't think the chef understands how to prepare a tasty non-meat dish either. For 2 years straight I had the same vegan only option. A Quinoa Blob with mushrooms, and a weird salad with clovers.
My only saving grace was the dessert, luckily not vegan.
I can only imagine how much this cost my company!!!

Went for anniversary...great atmosphere and service...food was excellent also.
The most outstanding part of our experience was the service. It was almost like a well executed production with each part getting it exactly right. We never had an empty wine glass, the food was paced perfectly, staff was kind and professional and anticipated our every need. Additionally, the setting is stunning and the food interesting and unique but not bizarre. There is something on the menu for everyone. For us, it is a special occasion event.
My favorite restaurant of all time! Amazing dishes perfectly served one course at a time, by friendly and knowledgeable staff, in an amazing setting perched on Flagstaff Mountain above Boulder.

Quiet, elegant, great waitstaff, wonderful food presentation and flavor, fabulous views of Boulder and mountains. Very expensive but worth it for special occasions. A great old style place to enjoy a lovely evening.
If I had one 1 restaurant I could go for the rest of my life, this would be it...Flagstaff is the best restaurant in Colorado, if not the whole US. The scenery is gorgeous, food was perfect, the wine recommendation is now my favorite wine. This place is just wow, a place you have to go at least once in your life. Any review lower than 5 stars is almost laughable. Did not have a single negative thing to say.
Ambience is beautiful. The desserts were really good. The food was OK. They also made reservations for us and couldn't accommodate us so they sat 5 of us Row at the bar. Are you kidding!? I'll never return
We've been here twice now. Once for our rehearsal dinner and then for our wedding anniversary. Both times were incredible.
Incredible space! My husband and I had our engagement party here a few years back, have worked with the restaurant for client dinners/meetings, and recently returned for an anniversary celebration! Every experience has been beautiful and the restaurant is so unique! Highly recommend!

Amazing food and views. We sat outside to see the lights of Boulder. The service is awesome with three or four servers bringing the food simultaneously. The food is unique with thoughtful and creative ingredients. Great chef. It is very pricey but worth it.

We were stuffed!. If your impression of fine dining is you leave hungry and your pocket empty, Flagstaff House will change your mind. We enjoyed the 4 course meal and it did not disappoint. On top of the four courses we were also served bread, hors d'oeuvres, a palate cleansing sorbet, extra desert treats, and a take home breakfast bread. The service was perfect. Our server Joe was there when we needed, knowledgeable and accommodating. For the price you get what you pay for. Flavorful dishes, Delicious drinks, great service, and views that cannot be matched of the boulder skyline and beyond.

On 8/2/19 we had our wedding dinner at Flagstaff House and it was an absolute dream. I cannot thank Annie the event coordinator enough for all she has done; she was wonderful to work with and truly made everything smooth when it came to the little details of the wedding reception. My family and I had a wonderful experience at Flagstaff House, the staff was wonderful and attentive, thanks for the smiles and memories we will cherish forever! The view was breathtaking (we even saw a rainbow!) and the food was absolutely divine! Thank you so much to the entire staff for creating a perfect night for us. It was a wonderful experience, we cannot wait to celebrate future anniversaries at Flagstaff House!
We did a mini-moon a few weeks back in Colorado, but didn t get to have an intimate celebratory dinner. We decided to fly back in this weekend to truly celebrate. We came across the Flagstaff House through internet recommendations and couldn t have been happier. The food was incredible! (Especially the soft shell crab and the steaks). However, what made the experience was the views and customer service. Through working for a company that prides itself on customer service, it was easy to appreciate the effort our server, Cory, made to amplify our experience. Not only did he offer us an outside table that became available early on in our meal to have better views, but he also brought us out an extra dessert to celebrate our early marriage. It s these gestures that go above and beyond.
We were so happy with this experience and can t wait to come back!

One of the worst restaurants I have tried. I had the chef tasting menu, the food was so bad that I could barely eat the whole menu. Even for $30 it wouldn't be worth it. The view is very nice though.

Top of the Line! Excellence! The seating, view, delicious, elegantly prepared and presented food to the little loaf of banana bread sent with you to be enjoyed with your morning coffee is a delight. Allow 2 to 3 hours to relax and enjoy not only the lovely dinner, but also the view among the tops of ponderosa pines looking out over the city of Boulder and the plains beyond.
The best of the rest. Life is too short to eat just "good' food.

First time to Flagstaff's and I was very surprised. Not as many reviews as I expected for a place this nice! The food was delicious, their drinks were extraordinary, and the service was outstanding. Our server and the service was impeccable! Couldn't ask for a better night out!

the food was delicious but served in very small portions. the service is slow, we waited about 2 hours for our food and the restaurant wasn't very packed. The portion sizes are not worth the price. I paid about $45 for a tiny slab of steak less than the size of two sticks of butter. If the food and appetizers weren't so delicious i would give this place 3 stars.

My husband and I had our microwedding reception dinner here two weeks ago on October 10th, and it was the best meal of our lives! Everything about the service, from working with Annie, the event coordinator, to the wait staff the day of was incredible. The ambiance was perfect, the view is amazing, and every single course was to die for. We have not stopped talking about our dinner here. I only wish I had thought to take more photos, but I was distracted by how good the food was! We fully intend to go back on our anniversary!
Food was underwhelming. We felt horribly unimportant and overlooked. Views seemed like they would have been amazing. Unfortunately, we were the only table seated in a weird corner of the restaurant - even after calling ahead and being assured we would be seated with an amazing view.
Staff & service were 5 stars. Food was beyond perfect. Not to mention the magnificent view. Was one great experience overall.
My boyfriend and I came in from Michigan and wanted to splurge a bit and try Flagstaff while in town. May I just say: wow! Our waitress, Taylor, was so unbelievably kind and helpful, the food was excellent, and our cocktails were perfection. I HIGHLY recommend the Purple Rain and their Old Fashioned. The atmosphere was beautiful and we were very impressed with the meals and the perfect portions. Cannot recommend enough if you have a little extra money to spend on a nice meal.
Took my Son to the Flagstaff for his birthday to celebrate. The Views were one of the best offered, staff was good.However the food was extremely salty, never before experienced this in my 50 years of going to top places to eat, we were both Very disappointed with the response from the chef and management, won t go back, not even for the Views and a drink. Want others to be aware it s extremely overpriced average quality of food along with the salty-ness had two different dishes, steak and salmon both were bad, $200 later and ruined his celebration, very disappointed.
Possibly the most beautiful restaurant setting I've ever seen
3 star food with a 5 star view and 5 star service. I rated them 3 stars for food because the food I ate at the price I paid should have been on par with a high end steak or seafood restaurant. It was not. It was just OK, and I expected more.
I have had the pleasure to eat at alot of high end restaurant's and the food and service here was exceptional, along with the view. From the valet that took or car, hostess, serving staff and the waiter they all get 5 stars. I just don't give out 5 stars because there is always room for improvement, but tonight they nailed it. The only thing I can say is that the Creme Brulee was a little runny. They flavor was great and the fresh fruit was almost to much, but great job overall you guy's.

Absolutely one of the best places to grab a high end dinner anywhere near Boulder or Denver. The food is always phenomenal and the drinks are always fresh and fun. I love that the menu changes seasonally so there is always something new to try.
