Flagler Center Family YMCA at YMCA of Florida's First Coast Reviews

I've been living in this area for 4 years now but just recently discovered this little gem here. This Y location is different from all of the other ones, they only offer classes such as yoga, Zumba, cardio dance, cycle, zabata and many many more. However, they don't have the usual gym equipments or pools since this used to be their corporate office that's turned into a gym.

I tried out some if their classes during the first trial week for free and had to sign up right away because these classes were so much fun. So far, my favorite classes ate cycle, Zumba and dance cardio since I enjoy dancing a lot. It was my very first cycle class and I had so much fun, the instructor was great, the whole experience was just awesome.

Another great thing about the Y is that they offer child care for an additional fee $20 a month which makes it $56 total monthly. They also have family and single person option as well as senior discounts, which is great. My friend and I also got 50 in Y bucks to use towards our 1 hour massage for $60 at this place after we signed up, so that's definitely a plus.

The ladies here are so sweet and helpful, I had to take a break for a week due to my little one getting sick so I can't wait to get back to the classes. This is a great way for us moms to stay in shape and boost our energy so I could keep up with the little ones.

Great place with a community feel. Wish they had more yoga classes in early am.

This WAS a great location. At the start of 2016 huge investment in new equipment including a squat rack : )

Then on Monday 12 December I stop in and the place is emptied of all the equipment with a sign on the door saying "new business model". CLOSED at 1:30pm!

Worse, no advance notice.

Since this was the only Y convenient to schedule and route I'll be ending my 8 year+ membership.

Love people, love the classes and love the instructors. What a great place to workout.

I always enjoy the atmosphere especially when camp is going on! Good vibe the minute you walk through the doors!

I joined the Y to workout and to spend time with family... The Y used to be Family Oriented, but now it is more of a Fitness Business... My daughter is 9, and she does not care for the "Kids Center". She wanted to "watch" me work out. BUT, they said due to age, she can not go in that area.
Then the other day I went, alone, to work out. For about four weeks I have been going 304 times a week. They take your temp, ask if you feel ok and you go in. Today, it was the same, except, NOW, after 4 weeks, they want to you wear a mask from the door to the stairs, about 20ft. There was No One between me and the stairs. I do not mind following rules. But this is just nuts!! The DOCTORS say these mask will not keep you from getting it, it will help prevent you from giving it. If I do not have it, the mask is not doing anything...

This is where the Black Knight Company offices are. Pretty cool people.
