After years of being in this clinic, sometimes the secretaries were a bit tiresome to answer but bearable now I come to see Dr. Benitez for the last time and it took me 10 minutes for the parking lot and 10 more minutes for them to register me while they finished chatting And they won't let me talk or see the doctor who was so important to me, my medications, I'm going to investigate where to complain. Call me on the phone and they left me waiting for 30 minutes, obviously without answering.
So I withdraw from this clinic but I do not recommend it.

And these 8 days that I have been without my medications because the secretary did not even allow me to speak with the doctor who will be responsible.

Imagine being a patient there and trying to get refills or clarification on your medication and the front desk leaves you on hold no one comes back or bounces you around and each person that picks up puts you back on hold , then there's the 2 sometimes 3 hour wait and when you're finally seen you appointment is then rushed it is beyond disgusting final straw is trying to get my specialty prescription sorted out and be left on hold multiple time then they pick up to only transfer you without speaking to you to the physical therapy dept for them to forward you back to the front for them to hang up on you the worst office.

I used Dr. Steiner's services 15 years ago to investigate the cause of my fainting spells. Dr. Steiner was extremely thorough and ruled out everything except for a genetic disorder that causes me to faint when I experience stress. Dr. Steiner's great sense of humor put me at ease during my consultation with him. Except for a long wait in the waiting room, everything else about my experience was wonderful.

The use of masks seems to be a joke with them. They are worn below their noses and mouths are visible. When i stated I was not comfortable they made me feel like I was being mislead by our country because apparently in Russia they do not wear them and the infectious rate is similar. After my 3 rd visit and similar situation I cancelled all future appt. Not to mention further the place seems very dirty to me.

Dr Steiner is one of the best neurologist I have ever treated with, I went to him as a second opinion and not only did he newly diagnos me he also found something else on my MRI which the other doctor said there was no need for, I am very appreciative for the doctor. I highly recommend him. Great job

Stay away. My first visit I spent 4 hours in this office, simply waiting around. I met the doctor. I was under this doctors care for one week. In that time I only saw him the first time and after that was pushed off to the PA. They were treating me for migraines which was the incorrect diagnosis and the medication I was given was bad for my true diagnosis. When I asked to speak with the doctor they never put him on. Don t waste your time going here find a doctor who will invest his time in you.

After reading the other reviews, I have to say that, yes, there may be a wait at times, but good things come to those who wait. Dr. Steiner treated me when I had lost all hope ! He gave me my autonomy back. In my opinion this neurologist may be quirky but is knowledgeable and treats the patient with a holistic collaborative approach. He really cares and gives all patients his all. He may spend more time allocated which can make long wait times, but that s all there to help you!! Five Towns Neurology is my diamond and in the rough and would highly recommend!!

Horrible, absolutely and straight up awful. I read the reviews before coming here and chose to ignore the bad and go with the good - terrible mistake on my part and writing this so someone else who is considering this office does not make the same mistake as I did. If I could rate it a negative star I would!!
I should ve seen the red flags when the day before my appointment (with the doctor) I was called and told the doctor will not be in tomorrow but would you like to see his PA? I was so disturbed and annoyed by this but I have been waiting over a week for the appointment and I was nervous about my condition I agreed to seeing the PA. The reviews about long waits are absolutely true, I had an appointment booked for 10:30am, I printed and filled out the paperwork before arriving so I could drop them off with the front desk and wait in my car due to Covid - they have a small waiting room and it had about 5 others in. I went back to my car and waited until 11:15, I called to check in to make sure I was not forgotten and the front desk advised they had my paperwork and are just waiting, they couldn t say when I would be taken in but they hoped it wouldn t be too long . At 11:45 I was called to come in, I did and was taken right into a room in the back which I did appreciate aside from being more than an hour past my appointment time.
Once in the room, the typical questioning took place and I was told the doctor would be in shortly. I waited until well past 12:45 (now two hours past my appointment time) with no doctor in sight. The doctors assistant came in to see me, asked a few questions and brought me back to the front to schedule Testing that they wouldn t even do that day. I waited all this time for an appointment to take less than 10 minutes tops, just to ask questions and not even diagnose anything.
The front desk was horrible!!! The lady was rude and annoyed that she to hang up getting an authorization to help me schedule testing. She literally threw a fit about having to hang up, pulled away from her desk huffing and puffing and crossed her arms While looking at me like I was asking the impossible of her. Sorry, it was now 1pm and my appointment was 10:30, I don t think it is too much to ask you to take some time to schedule me my testing so I can get on with my day, as you would think it goes without saying but I have other obligations to get to and spending my entire morning and afternoon at this office to get nothing accomplished was not one of them. In terms of the actual 10 minute examination/office visit, the PA was sweet but knew nothing and couldn t answer any questions without saying I m checking with the doctor and will get back to you. I asked to confirm they had open MRI s and she was so confused, had no clue and responded with I think so, oh yeah we do the place is called village open MRI , that was extremely alarming.
The saddest part of the whole thing is I never even got to see or meet with the doctor. They do not care about you.
Avoid at all costs if you can!!!!!!! Save your time, because contrary to the beliefs of the staff at this office, our time is just as precious as theirs, and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
