Alta Peruvian Lodge Review

Convenient to Alta and Snowbird ski areas. Comfy room. Food included. Kind of expensive.

Stay was amazing great employees and helpful workers

This was my first time at the lodge and it was great. From the time you step into the place you feel like your part of the family.. The staff is super friendly and engaging and will put you right at ease. Its a laid back rustic lodge with only one fault. The walls to the rooms are thin and you can hear everything in other rooms. However, as a place to lay your head it did the job. The beds are super comfortable as well. If you're thinking of staying in Alta you have to check out the Peruvian Lodge. I will definitely be back.

This place is absolutely the best. We go every year with a big group of guys, and they roll out the red carpet for us. Great food, clean rooms, and just a ton of fun. We'll definitely be back...

Super authentic lodge experience, could be updated (a lot) But very unique. I honestly believe the place would be way better if they allowed snowboarding on the mountain. The place seems so odd without them.

The Peruvian is the quintessential ski lodge in the best ski resort anywhere. It is my "goto" whenever I go to Alta, it's gorgeous and yet simple, comfortable and a fabulous value with great food (particularly dinner!), the best location and a staff that is professional and friendly beyond compare. They do it right if you are a skier.

During COVID, you have to be a guest there to dine. Bummer, not worth the hike from Snowbird

The staffs are very kind and helpful. Meals are all inclusive and delicious. Room is clean and very comfortable. Convenient to ski resort.

We had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception up at the Alta Peruvian Lodge (The P Dog). We had a fantastic time, and the wedding was memorable. We were able to set up days before and had the freedom to decorate; however, we wanted. Our guest loved the laid backfill. We had to move our ceremony inside, but it made for a beautiful close wedding. I would not change it.

Most affordable and quality lodge at Alta. Food is high quality and amenities are superb. Only con to the Peruvian is its distance from the lifts. Of course you can always take the shuttle but when they are not running it can be a quite arduous to walk to the nearest lift. Especially love the heated swimming pool and hot tubs.
