Great course, only problem over booking course is way too crowded you are definitely waiting on the tee box and if you get behind that group that's sitting every where but the fairway you are there all day. Other than that excellent course
Easily one of the best courses in the area. All aspects of the course are pristinely kept up. Friendly staff and attentive marshals keep up the pace of play. Large driving range and putting green on-site to warm up, and a covered outdoor seating area for drinks and cooling down afterwards. The course layout provides a fun challenge on each hole. Our group was a mix of new and experienced golfers, and we all had a great time. If you are considering golfing here, do it. You will not regret it.
Always loved playing at Five Ponds - well-maintained course, nice spacing between groups, lots of trees, shade and friendly geese. But what I need to mention Is the music policy. The foursome behind us played loud music and being behind it continued to follow us. At one point the back 9 were slowing so the group were at the tbox when we were there with the music going. We politely asked them to turn it down-which the did. Once we teed off they immediately turned it on again. I complained to the front office and they said that no music is not part of their policy. I hope it changes. I ve played many golf courses around the country and never have been on a course where there was music I hope there is a policy considered that address music at five Ponds
Outstanding value and a fun place to play. The course is kept in great shape, not just tee boxes, fairways, and greens, but bridges and cart paths too. It s a tribute to the staff and I can t wait to return.
It's always something problematic here. Leagues Monday-Thursday so no after work golf available. Constant leagues make it impossible to play during the week unless you take a vacation day. Weekends are always booked out well before most working folks can predict availability. Call for two on the weekend a week in advance and the earliest they ever have is 530pm or later. Range closes at 5pm every Wednesday, even for those with prepaid key fobs. Sometimes it's mats only during late spring. Ive seen the chipping area shut down in the week for league or lessons so you can't practice there either. Its impossible to access this course in almost any capacity. It's a shame because the course is beautiful. I'd spend a ton of money here each year if they figured out how to manage the public interest better. Seems like they forget there is a large public community that's not in leagues that would be all over this course, the food,, and the booze.I guess leagues make them enough they don't care. I hope pass holders don't get treated the same way. It's not COVID either as it's been this way for years. If you are not retired, take your business and your game elsewhere. This course doesn't have space to be your "home" course.
The course is in very good condition. Well maintained greens. On conditions alone this is a 5/5 course. It s quite challenging with streams and ponds coming into play on nearly every course (5 ponds!). It was quite crowded on a Saturday morning. The holes are all close to one another will errant shots occurring most of the day. You ll hear people yelling fore and hitting from other fairways the majority of the round. The layout is where the course loses 2 stars. The openness and closeness of the holes takes away from the experience and doesn t feel private. We may try this place again during the week day or an evening round.
Course was in good condition and staff was courteous. However, the course design is quite dangerous with holes crossing quite near one another. I had 3 balls come within 10 yards of me from golfers on other holes. Be careful.
We have not played this course in about 5 years. What a mistake.This was the best run and best conditioned township owned course we ever played!!! Everything was perfect, a nod to the maintenance crew for there outstanding work. We will be back! Thank You
The staff is very helpful and nice. The course is in excellent shape and very well maintained. Looking forward to playing here more often.
