Most amazing NE clam chowder in the WORLD! Best restaurant for a spurgle. Great seafood skewers, mesquite grilled. Mmmmm

Have eaten here many times, never disappointed. The wait can be long but you will get over it. Usually busy, good food and atmosphere.

Besides the noise, a wonderful restaurant.I had the large lobster tail with baked yam and green beans.I must admit ,I love creme brulee, truely a treat.thank you.

This place is awesome, it's that place you go to when you want your favorite seafood prepared, or even a celebration. It's even romantic. IT'S THAT PLACE .

We were originally going to the Fish Company next door as my friend knows a gal that works (they are connected so she came to say Hi! later when she heard we were there) Everything was as excellent as the original but my friends were in love with the Taco Tuesday menu. My salmon was perfect and the Chinese greens also tasty! Portions were ample so l also had it for dinner later. We were celebrating one friends birthday so l insisted they have the Chocolate Souffle, which looked great and l was told yummy! The complementary dessert was an excellent ice cream and cookie creation. Usually my friend only has a spoonful of each dessert but she did her share to clear both plates!!! We came because Pei Wei had closed and this place was just a little North on the same street. A bit of an expensive lunch but well worth the happy experience of my friends from College! Found a place to have a date take me!

Service and food is top notch. The original fish company is one of our favorite restaurants in socal. A+

It was cold so no one sitting outside but it has a nice secluded seating area. No waiting as we were early. However restaurant was packed! We got a small table for 2 that was in high traffic area. Oysters were fabulous. We had a selection. I had blackened Halibut while my host had swordfish. Big portions to take home some leftovers. Wine list good if a bit expensive. Not a cheap place. Our bill for 2 came to over $160!

I like coming here I think they have the best white clam chowder

Each time I come to Orange county I have to eat here. Born and raised in the Los Alamitos area this is one of my favorite places to eat.

Happy Hour at the bar is very cozy, and you can see everything from there. You can order appetizers as well as from the full menu. Service is great! Red clam chowder is the best!

Beautiful place to eat. Great friendly servers, food is awesome. Acoustics could be better so it gets a little loud....but that was easy to overlook. An A++in my book.

Has the best halibut skewer I've ever had in my in my life

Went to this restaurant Friday night. I ordered the special Cajun Ono. There was nothing Cajun about it. It was very lacking in flavor, neither spicy nor savory. It was served over a clump of white rice, no sauce, adding to the blandness of the whole meal.
My husband ordered the Calimari steak that was typical but it was served with something they called rice pilaf. This blob of brown goo was so very sweet, sickeningly sweet, with raisins added to take it even further from being the right companion dish to accompany calimari. The fresh fish is very pricey but I would only go back if we were desperate for a good, fresh fish to prepare at home. Chefs, step up your game!

Food was good, served hot. Long wait for seating. Seating Too close. Service good. Even manager was helping with service.

My all time favorite dining establishment. Brunch, lunch, or dinner...the food and service is wonderful. This is my go-to place for girlfriend get togethers or dinner with my hubby or friends.

We just ordered the lobster special, it was a 10, so plump and delicious and only $25. We have lots of gift cards from our kids from Fish Co and will definitely order this again. Thanks Z for taking our order.

My waiter Sean was awesome! He recommended some good things, and he was super friendly! The food was great too! I would definitely come back.

The food is great. The service, not so much. I ordered a drink, they made it wrong, I returned it for the right drink, still not what I asked for (but I have up), then I find the first drink still on my tab. SMH!

The customer service is regularly swift, great ambience, very friendly employees. Will come back again when I am nearby.

We've been here 6 or 7 times for dinner and it never disappoints. From the clam chowder to the Calamari steak, from the oysters to the crab legs... everything is excellent!

If the wait is too long, just walk to the large and very generously comfortable bar loung. Full menu or Happy Hour food if it's your yhing6

This is class dinning. Outstanding service and food. You feel like your the only one being served. Can't say enough good things about this place.

The food served to both of us was excellent. The cocktails especially were very nice and we really appreciated descriptions of each dish from the chef.

I have been there many times the best on the coast. Last week poor service very slow, no bus boys. I will not be back for a long time.

Best restaurant in southern California! Worlds best chowder

Other than not taking reservation, what else is there to complain about. I have been coming here for years and still one of the better place to go for good seafood.

I used to love this place but hadn't been there in a while and my most recent visit was very disappointing. I had been craving lobster so I ordered the lobster tail to eat in and placed a take out order for the wild Mexican shrimp on pasta. When I received the lobster tail it was almost completely flavorless. I took a couple of bites and knew I couldn't finish it. By the time my waitress (Sofie) came back to the table, it was completely cold. Sofia was very accommodating and brought me a menu so I could order something to replace it. By then I had spent so much time there that I had to order my replacement dinner to go. I ordered the shrimp scampi. Sofie brought me the scampi to go and I reminded her that I had already placed a to go order for shrimp on pasta. She said they had just put it on to cook, but I think she had forgotten it or they would have brought both orders st the same time. When I got home I found that they sent two orders of scampi, but no shrimp on pasta. Along with these problems, I found the portions to be extremely small, even the baked potato was tiny. I don't see myself returning to this restaurant. I don't mind paying for decent size portions, but these meals didn't come close to being worth what I paid, not to mention all the screw ups.

This place was awesome! They had a large selection of seafood and their clam chowder was incredible!! I started my meal off with a Moscow Mule drink and then ordered the Manhattan style clam chowder which was tasty but not as good as their New England style. I tried both styles. I ordered the Chilean Seabass over potatoes for my main entree. The Seabass was a absolutely delicious!!! That is my favorite fish to eat.

My friend ordered the Costa Rica Mahi Mahi grilled and his was also delicious. He also ordered the grilled oysters which were plump and tasty as well. Not my favorite but they had that strong oyster taste that many people enjoy. The place was busy so service was a little slow but it was expected. You can t go wrong with anything you order here. I highly recommend this place!!

One of the Best fish restaurants around. Great selection of fresh fish. Full bar. Thumbs up on the Cadillac margaritas.

We were regular customers of the Fish Co from the year it opened its doors. Our sons grew up eating there. We would bring clients and friends for special gatherings. The remodel really changed the warm, charming feeling of the space. Now it just looks like a Marriott Hotel dining room, stark and sterile. We haven't been back since the remodel. It's like an old friend that moved away. Sad.

Great service, view, location. I was there celebrating my mans birthday and it went smooth. Food came fast however one entree was made incorrectly. I would recommend but make sure they repeat your order to make sure and changes are done correctly.

A little pricey...but with every penny! We had spicy jalapeno steamed clams that were amazing. Chowder is fantastic also!

First time I've been since they remodeled. Looks great but has the same terrific food and service. I recognized many of the same servers that have been there for years. I had a calamari steak with green beans and a yam. All excellent. And it was my birthday so they even brought me a very good chocolate mousse with whipped cream. Don't know how but I got out without having their excellent clam chowder. Gives me a reason to go back soon!
