Great people, we can't wait for our home to be built!! Props to Sheena Richardson, the best!

Brand new and such poor workmanship. Carpet isn t cut, seamed or installed correctly. They tried to say the drywall tape issue was fine. Took down the ceiling fan to install an upgrade ( because they won t) and it s full of builder dust. There s more but I didn t get pictures. This is my daughter s new place.

What are they best in? Lying. Do yourself a favor and don't upgrade anything. It will be scratched up or installed incorrectly. I have to fight to get my cabinets fixed, rails fixed, floor fixed, trim fixed, driveway fixed. The outside of the house uses Thermo ply. This does not add strength to your house. Hell they don't even nail it in properly. They called me a complainer but you took my money and didn't deliver. Shame on them.

Shame on you for not taking care of the sinkhole issue in Harrison, OH. People are losing their homes because of your negligence. You are 100% at fault yet you are making the HOA fix the issue.

Homes are built fast and furious with the cheapest materials available. Corners cut everywhere, terrible workmanship and no care for detail. Everyone I ve spoken to has a laundry list of things wrong with their homes. Wish we d read the reviews here beforehand

A functional enough building I suppose, must have built by someone other than Fischer. :)

Horrible customer service. I purchased a "new" condo...had only been lived in 2 months before the original owner was transferred out of state. Was told that the builder's warranty would carry over and it turns out it did not. I ask for assistance with the front door hardware, and was informed they couldn't help me because I was the second owner.

Condos are build poorly look like the workers were rushing to finish on time

Regret everything about buying a Fischer home. These people will con you into everything. They just want your money and nothing else. There are plenty of reviews out their I chose to ignore but came to find out how true they were. Its shocking this is allowed in this country. Do yourself a favor and build with someone else.

Almost a year at my house.. I was told the driveway would clear up and look better it looks like trash the front porch looks even worse they said that they are gonna fix the porch but won t fix the driveway. The drive way has blanket Marks all over it

0/10. Do not recommend. Stay away as far from Fischer Homes as you can! We are not a hard family to please. Not over-particular in any way. We have saved up for years for our dream home. Recently had our first little girl and we came to them to make our dream a reality. They make you feel like that at first. But beware. Once they had our deposit, customer service was not even in their vocabulary. They took our gorgeous oversized lot and crammed the house in the back of it. Before you sign contracts, they act like you have a say in how your home is built. Once you sign... prepare to have them TELL you how they are building your home. They make all the choices.

I Love the fact I can design my own home, but I think that Fischer can work with you as a buyer. I've always said I want to go USDA. I've already invested $11,000.00 and have no more to give. At this point I'm looking at backing out.

On the outside I had informed them that I had paid for all brick but they had stopped almost at the top amd just put in trim board. Hence why the trim board was not sitting correct. I was mocked with "well do you expect us to remove the trim board and put brick" I said yes, I paid extra $13,000 for all brick not all trim. Which a response was "yeah that's not going to happen". I paid extra but did not really get all brick. Even on the side above the garage, brick could not be put. I was informed it had nothing to hold on to and they put concrete board and slapped paint on it and assumed I would not go up. Well I went up and was not impressed.

The front yard drainage does not go away from the house. They release water right after the sidewalk. They put these caps that when heavy rainfall comes it will open up and release water all around it. Well I already found a dead frog in one and it holds a lot of water. I can see this being a problem. Improper installation of the pipe in the first place lead them to put caps. Their fault should not be my expense. They forgot 2 more pipes but added one and dumped mulch in top to hide it. The other pipe they said doesn't need to be their when I was told all front yard down spouts would lead away from the house. Thats when they told me to check the blueprint. Well they threw the blueprints out. Actually they blamed the cleaning crew when I know thats false since they showed me the prints before we purchased the house. Also it was in the basement between the duct work.

I showed them the driveway which I had a few contractors come out and look at. They told me that I have a lot of stress cracks. Asked me what I drove on it, well I informed them that the builders had bobcats and heavily loaded vehicles come up and down it. They were shocked.

I then showed them the bay window under piece. First they forgot about then entirely. I had to inform them since I see it on another stanton. So they took 2 pieces and shot nails into it. That was disappointing since heavy wind blew one off. There is nothing above it for the nails to attach to. Its just that card board thing you put all over the outside the house. So 2nd attempt, they put some sort of glue on it and shot more nails. Well some had nails stick out. My kids like to play outside, and my older one loves to explore. I explained to them having sharp edges and nails stick out is not safe for children. I was laughed at. This made me very upset since I care about my children very much and like any parent do not want to see any harm come to then.

Then we went inside. I showed them a trim piece that goes from hallway to bathroom. The bathroom is tiled, poorly might I add but that will be further discussed, and has a metal side to it. Well the trim they put in is wrong. I still feel the metal piece stub my toe. Now whats interesting is that week before we closed a piece of trim was in the garage and we asked is this the transition piece for the bathroom, we were told no its wrong and they are waiting for it. Then I contacted you the first time and when we met in the house magically a trim piece showed up. Well my wife and I went to the garage to look for the wrong piece and it was missing. They used the wrong piece and are sticking to it. I even told them and they kept saying "oh it showed up quick" when they told me it wouldn't be in till december. When I said where is the missing piece they shrugged at me.

For the tile work all I will say is its not aligned, not level in some areas, and also poor cutting. You can see this more in the designer bathroom. I pointed this out before but got no where, they refused to fix this. Spent around $10,000 for upgrades.

Next I was told that I should have visited a Stanton model. I responded where is one? And both did not know. Well why mention something to mock me with if you don't have a answer. Also I went thru your virtual walk thru on your site which only made my "complaints" as he put it more valid.

I will never build a Fischer home again. My husband and I built our first home together last July 2016 and it been a year and we told the builder before we moved in about the floor in living room I level and made noises when you walk . It is in our main living room . We had our year walk through this month they supposly fixed the problem but it still not fixed. We will be going to Corp . Regarding this issues . Ppl are very unfriendly . Won't return phone calls .

Fischer uses cheap materials and doesn t pay attention to quality and has a total absence of customer service.

Great selection of floorplans for all family sizes...from empty nesters to larger families. Customer service seemed like a priority...before, during and after the build was complete.

As an actual customer (built my house a little over a year ago), I have to say fairly confidently that I will never build with Fischer Homes again. In total, I've probably had to be at my house around 25-30 days for follow-up services to be done since moving in. My shower has had to be re-grouted 3 times, my vinyl plank flooring has gapping and wedged pieces. The carpet where it is tacked down before vinyl begins is completely torn. The downspout-runoff in the rear of the home is coming through the ground (the white pipe is exposed to the surface of the ground). There are too many issues to capture in this review, but overall, ask yourself if these type of issues are things that you would want to have to deal with when building a BRAND NEW home. The commitment to quality and customer service are laughable. If anyone is considering building with Fischer Homes, I would be happy to give you a tour of my home if it helped turned you away, that's how dissatisfied I am with Fischer Homes.
