First United Methodist Church - Cary Review

Awesome Church, very welcoming and inviting. Can be involved as much or as little as you like.

FUMC is a big church but there are many small groups and all kinds of mission activities. Its a great church with great people. We have traditional services at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:05 and a contemporary service at 11:11 in the fellowship hall. Please come and sit with me at 11:05, my husband and daughter sing in choir and I appreciate the company!

They aren t accepting of those who are homeless or not members. When the staff actually talks with me about whatever problems I m causing I ll change my review. Why can t we all just be adults and fix issues instead of beating around the bush? Can I at least be treated like a human being?

Love going to church here. The youth are so welcoming and youth activitys are always so much fun!

I had a wonderful time at this church. The service was fantastic and the message was fulfilling. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a place of worship.

FUMCC is very welcoming to the surrounding community. We have been going for over 16 years, almost 10 as non-members and recently joined as members. We have made some great friends at FUMCC and plan to go back for years to come! The youth program has been growing stronger and more involved every year (as well as children's programs).

We have attended a Methodist church for over 30 years & have been on the administrative board as chair, as well as leading other committees. As newcomers to Cary we were anxious to find our new church. It was extremely disappointing to attend a church that was so unfriendly & unwelcoming.

I was invited in for the 1st time on Christmas eve. It didn't matter that the shirt was dirty from working on the bike, people and staff were still very friendly and accepting even if the outside appearance wasn't the best I had

I've been a member here for 20 years. Needless to say, I've never felt more "at home" at a church than I do at this one. We are a large and diverse group, so there is something for everyone!
