The church itself would be a great place. The purpose of the free lunch service is very respectful. Unfortunately, homeless people are in the vicinity thanks to the service. From this neighborhood to Pigeon Park, the walking distance around the boulevard is almost enough to say that homeless people are almost 'occupying'. If you're looking for a walk around downtown on East Hastings Street, it's a good idea to get around from there to Union Street or Powell Street.
