Is your life being ruined by modern conveniences like perforation? High speed internet? Electricity? Do I have a loan service for you! First Choice Loan Services does not, in the year of our Lord 2019, offer pay by phone or online. You must mail a check. And you must use a stamp. A stamp, for those who don't know, is a little sticker that costs money so a physical letter will be delivered by the post office. Yes. First Choice makes you pay for the privilege of sending them money via the antiquated method of snail mail. And not only that, their statement, the bottom stub of which you must send back, is not even perforated. So if you're feeling a little too spoiled in our golden age of convenience, choose First Choice and make your mortgage feel like 1965.

I found First Choice via the Costco Mortgage Program. I found them to be responsive, professional, and courteous during our interactions. Based on my initial contact with First Choice, I happily proceeded with the home purchase process. The process moved quickly, and of course required lots of documentation---but no more than usual when purchasing a home. The closing/settlement took place within 45 days. I primarily worked with Natasha Campisi and Rebecca Allard; both were fantastic. I would definitely recommend Costco/First Choice to anyone looking to purchase a home.

Very pleasant experience working with First Choice Loan Services (available through Costco Mortgage Program). We needed a fast closing (3 weeks) on the purchase of a home, and First Choice handled things flawlessly.

Terrible. My clients' loan officer didn't know how the process works. Ex: who orders the appraisal, who pays for the appraisal, zero communication, the list goes on. I definitely will never recommend First Choice Loan Services, and will be following up with CostCo... as I'm sure they would like to be affiliated with a Lender who has a good reputation and takes care of their customers. FCLS Inc. is neither of those two. Save yourself the headaches, and go with someone else. BTW, if there was an option for no stars, that would be selected.

First Choice Loan Services Inc. is the provider of Mortgage Services for Costco Members. I plan to relocate to a different area by next year. I applied for a mortg loan with them since costco promotes them. My credit score is over 825. My current home morgt is almost paid off with a balance of less than $60k and more than 10times that amount in equity. I have no other debts. the "loan originator" asked for ssn#, 1040 tax return, credit reports and more.
After 2 months I was approved and sent a "pre-approval letter" which was over the amount of the house I wanted to buy. After I entered into contract agreement the same loan originator says they wont fund the loan because my debt to income ratio was too high and I needed to pay off my current mortg or sell the house 1st. Really!
I didn't waste anymore time since I was under contract, I ran to another lender got approved and closed.
Bottom Line: If you need a mortg loan Don't Waste Your Time With this Lender.
