The people here were very welcoming to us. We were in North Augusta for my husband's reunion and we wanted to worship before we drove back home. We had a very spirit led worship time and felt free to give our Lord praise for all He has done for us. God is in this place. The music was done very well and the people were genuinely worshiping, not trying to entertain, they were giving glory to God and it was wonderful.

I had a bad experience with the director of the weekday education department and she acted very snooty and disrespectful on many occasions. Not the type of person I would want to be over our young children's education; their curriculum for the children is not even up to the same pace as other private schools, or even public school; my children should've advanced more than they did while they were there, especially for the amount of money it cost for tuition. Since taking them out of the weekday education program, I noticed a huge difference in all they have learned this year at a different school. As for the church, I can't speak for that, I never had any problems with any of the other members or staff there and they were all very welcoming and polite, it was just the director I had a problem with and when there are leadership problems then the program also suffers because the staff and teachers have to follow what the director says. I have heard many of the other parents who have agreed about the same thing, the curriculum and the director. I pray that God sends a great person to fill in or either help this lady who is the director, become a better director and a nicer person in order to lead and prepare our children for a good future with a good education

This review is for the Mother s Day Out program. Both of my boys (5 yo and 5 months old) attend their MDO program and I ve had only positive experiences here with both. The teachers genuinely care and do their best to work with you. I m a very picky mom and these are people I trust...and that s huge for me! They know everyone who walks through the door and safety is their priority. You can tell they care deeply and do their best. I ve popped in early before to grab my baby and saw he was being held and rocked and it just made my heart leap for joy to know he was getting the care he deserves. Highly recommend First Baptist Church of North Augusta for their Mother s Dat Out program.

Beautiful church. It's obvious that it was built intentionally with a live acoustic..... wood floors, wood pews, wood stage and was meant for acoustical instruments like choir, piano and organ. Unfortunately, that's not the kind of music this church does and the electronic instruments and microphones echo all throughout. I suspect the church didn't realize it would be going to mostly contemporary style music in the next 20 years..... such a shame. The room is begging for a big choir and for the organ to play - i have yet to hear it. The church does host classical concerts every now and then and the room really shines.
