I tried Firewurst once, did not enjoy my meal, and will not be returning. The food was lukewarm and covered in a layer of congealed grease. And it was expensive. No redeeming bits to this meal.

Plenty of better options in the area, even if you're just in the mood for a burger, sandwich, or something simple -- try Elevation Burger, Jason's Deli, or Jimmy John's instead.

This Dog & Sausage specialty restaurant opened in the late spring of 2013, where Fratello's Italian use to be.
It was redone into a clean and open pretty-fast food eatery, like most of the nearby sub shops.
I had their sausage sandwich an it was quite good, grilled and lots of fresh toppings. (Actually, too much sauce, I had to scrape some off).
The staff was very friendly, bringing the plate out to my table instead of just calling my number.
I'll certainly head back. It was a very nice change from the fast/sit-down burgers or subs.

The burgers & sweet potato fries here are amazing! My husband loves the Bratwurst. This place is a little pricey for what it is, but it's worth it because the food is so good. And you can tell they really do use quality products. They also have several local beers on tap.

I went here today for lunch. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. We ordered and waited at least 30 minutes for our meal. Mine was Luke warm and gross. I ordered a Bombay Veggie Sandwich. Something that was indicated as being somewhat healthy. Yet when I got it, all I saw was grease dripping out. Which was an automatic turn off. None of the extras I wanted were even on the sandwich and it smelled like cat food. Normally I would have just gotten something else but I was so disgusted that my item took 30 minutes. I was refunded, not that the money was even the issue. The fountain drinks and fries were good though.

The single worst restaurant experience I have had in the Triangle. The food was brought out sitting in a vat of its own grease. I couldn't take more than a couple of bites of my hot dog without feeling like I was eating something that humans were never meant to eat. The fries came out cold and soggy. All of this for an outrageously high price. I will never be back.

For a first timer going to lunch with a co-worker we both enjoy the experience for the most part. I order the hot Italian sausages with fries and a drink the sandwich was okay! would have been better if the roll was toasted. and if I was ask about my choose of roll that never happened. I'm not a big bread eater so toasted would've been great my co-worker had the firewurst sandwich he enjoyed it his only problem was with the cajun fries which were dry and just warm. we both came away with the thought that we will give them another try in the next few days! by the way we ate at the Harrison Square Cary, store.

Just ate with my wife at the Briar Creek location. Friendly staff, good portion of food. I got the BBQ Dog and my wife got the Carolina Dog. Food came out quickly and was hot when we got it. The tables were all clean and the food tasted great. I work near the one in Cary and will definitely be stopping by during the week occasionally for lunch

Interior was clean and well-decorated. I've been twice now and got cheddar brats both times though with different toppings. The quality of food was excellent and the toppings were piled high. The buns are good enough to eat by themselves and they give more than enough fries that I have a hard time eating everything. They've even got bottles of malt vinegar at the tables and it went great with the parmesan fries. It's not worth docking a star, but my only complaint is that the fountain drink cups that come with the combos seemed very small. Great food at a great value.

Had a Groupon so thought we'd give it a try. Was disappointed in the actual restaurant - management, etc. Food was very well-done - hamburger was like leather, sweet Ital. sausage pretty hard and onions and peppers barely cooked. Sweet potato fries over fried and not in a good, crispy way. On the plus side, the Reuben dog and onion rings were very good. I don't think there was enough help behind the counter so couldn't keep track of items being prepared. Not exactly sure who was in charge. Since it is a bit pricey for what you get, we won't be back.

I only rate this two stars because the only thing i liked about this place was how nice it looked inside. The price for the food was a little high but i thought oh ill probably be getting a good portion. Wrong. It was one tiny brat with such a small handful of fries for about 8 bucks. The kids meals are 4.99 and they got the same portion as me!! I left that place still hungry. Another thing being that it was my first time i didnt see they have ketchup and mustard next to the fountain drinks so when the employee brought over our food and asked if there was anything else we needed. I asked for some ketchup and he gave me a rude look and went over to where the ketchup was. I giggled as he came back over and apologized since i didnt see i could have helped myself and he again gave me a rude look and walked away. I do NOT recommend this place. And its too bad since it seemed like it would be such a great place.
