An iconic irish pub location. Enjoy great service and banter, while occasionally rubbing shoulders with world renowned celebrities who frequent this establishment - but don't hassle them, they're just trying to enjoy a drink too - and it's just not the Irish way to let them know, that you know, who the hell they are; and if you knew who the hell they were, you sure as hell wouldn't let them know that you knew 'cause what the hell did they do to deserve your attention while your enjoying the best pulled pint in south county Dublin. :-)

Been going here for years, but it's losing its charm. It's still a decent pub with good service but the prices of the pints are now quite steep even for Dalkey. 5.20 for Guinness and 5.90 for Heineken etc.!

Enjoy

Finnegan's at Dalkey was great. The tall lad is ticking all the boxes, extremely customer-friendly and hard working, lots of points for him. Unfortunately, I did not get his name but he's easy to identify among the staff.

Had been a few times now and first i loved it, but then it was always too crowded, and no air. Its just too hot, they should make air conditioning work :( Also bit overpriced food. But nice spot to rest after a day trip.

The best pub in Dalkey, family run with really friendly support staff. great to watch a sports match or just have a quiet pint. Especially great in summer sitting outside watching the world go by. Guinness is a must here and you might even bump into Bono.
