Finn Dental Specialists Review

I have been a patient at Finn Dental for over 8 years, and they have seen me through some potentially very traumatic treatment.

The care and skill of all the staff from Reception to the Nurses and Hygienists, and especially Guy and Greg, is exemplary and I would never go anywhere else.

In particular, I cannot praise Guy Stephens enough. He has looked after me for the last 5 years, with care and compassion. He is highly skilled and is always striving for perfection. He recently fitted me with new dentures and I am really pleased with them. As a result of Guy's thoroughness and attention to detail, they look superb and are really comfortable.

This is a beautifully presented practice in a lovely location. The staff are all very friendly and it is an environment where every member of staff cares about their customers, and you feel at ease instantly. I highly recommend this practice and their services if you are looking for a trusted dentist.

I was initially referred to Greg Finn 17 years ago for a consultation for chronic pain that had baffled two other dentists and had me at my wits end. He was always patient and persistent, first in managing to find the solution to my problem but also in repairing poor dentistry that I had been subjected to in the past. I would not, now, consider going anywhere else and only hope he keeps practising longer than my teeth last. A few years later he re-vamped a halved incisor for my teenage son that had been poorly re-built and was making him self-conscious. The result was undetectable (that s a compliment) and is still looking perfect nearly ten years later. He also gives good tips for reading material, but that s a side-line, with no cost.
Between them, he and Tracy the hygienist have made tooth-worries a thing of the past and i will be eternally grateful. I would certainly recommend the practice, especially to anybody who needs a little bit more time, care and attention.

I first visited this dental practice after my wife had recommended.
Have to admit I didn t want to pay the price, but I agreed to go following on from a bad experience elsewhere. Have to say don t let the price put you off, it s worth every penny and now will not be going anywhere else.
Very professional job and pain free, with no problems after the treatment- I had crowns fitted.
My wife was first referred here 21 years ago after losing 6 top front teeth in a car accident.
Greg was amazing and not only replaced the teeth with fantastic implants, but this gave a young girl her confidence back.
The implants are still going strong and so is her smile!
Can t recommend enough look ni further for all of your dental work.

I hate going to the dentist. At this place, they make it pleasant. They are keen to help with any issue and have even not charged me when trying to rectify things. 100% would recommend.

They have always been very reassuring......I would highly recommend Finn. Having a front tooth (incisor) fixed with an implant after decades of neglect was an amazing job!.....Everyone at the practice seem very friendly and put you at ease from the start!......

At the end of last year, I lost two teeth. Being in the elderly category, I have been managing with the results of gum disease for a few years so even though both teeth were on the suspect list, I didn't expect they would give up at the same time! As one of them was a near front tooth, I urgently needed a replacement. I knew it was a specialist job and found Finn Dental Specialists on line.

I was introduced to Greg Finn and from the first appointment I was delighted with the treatment I received. Greg is so kind and reassuring, it's been a pleasure to see him each time. After the preliminary scans and diagnosis during which nothing seemed to be too much trouble, I decided to have augmentation procedure for an implant in the future and a bridge as an immediate solution.

This all happened during the lockdown period with all the concerns of the virus for both patients and staff. The nurses and receptionists are lovely and managed the high level of safety precautions so efficiently and professionally and making you feel so welcome at the same time.

I cannot recommend highly enough this excellent dental specialist.

I had my first visit with Finn Dental Specialists today after a somewhat disappointing experience elsewhere in the area, and I was not disappointed. From initial greeting as I arrived through to my appointments with the dentist for an initial consultation and the hygienist for a clean my experience was fantastic. They took their time with me, conducted thorough procedures and listened to all my questions. The practice was also spotlessly clean, organised and welcoming, with all the new Covid-19 protocols in place.
I am so happy to have now found a dental practice that meets my standards and will most definitely be a long-term patron.

I recently had a tricky root canal treatment with Alex Mustard. I have nothing but praise for his management of the problem and his gentle reassuring and professional manner.

Had root canal work with Alex Mustard in Feb 21 and have a crown scheduled with Guy Stephens in 2 weeks time. Alex' work was excellent and his manner was calming and very comforting. I have had work done before with Guy and his work is also of the highest standard. I used to be a nervous wreck where dentists were concerned but now attend very happily. Definitely deserves 5 stars - Excellent.

The care and skill set of Greg allowed me to fall asleep in the chair while undergoing major tooth reconstruction. Not only didn't hurt but incredibly removed all pain from a serious crack and misalignment.

I have nothing but praise for FInn Dental. The treatment that I and my wife and son have received from Gregg Finn has been superb. He is supported by a team who, without exception, I have found to be not only highly professional, conscientious and efficient but also friendly and caring.

A wonderful, friendly bunch who helped me out of a very painful situation at the last minute after I had been told there was a 3-month wait list by all other dentists, for a high risk wisdom tooth removal. I was booked in for the very next day (thanks to a cancellation) and the Finn Dental team immediately put me at ease. Everyone I met and spoke to was so caring and helpful. The treatment I received from Greg was excellent and the recovery time was speedy thanks to a very careful procedure. After months of pain, I left with a smile on my face.

I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a private dentist that goes the extra mile.

They are all excellent specialists but more expensive than many practices even on Harley Street. I ended up doing my teeth elsewhere, in a dental centre with equally qualified and experienced specialists (and with better facilities!) for 30-40% less than their quote and saved thousands.

Great experience all round: staff give excellent customer service and my treatment was exceptional, thanks to Gregg I can smile again! Would recommend anyone to use this surgery.

I woke up with a terrible toothache at about 5AM. I've only got one bad tooth in my mouth but it's had a lot of work done on it in the past, at other dentists. I felt sure I was going to lose it this time, I was in a lot of pain. Greg saw me right away at 10AM. I have very, very bad dentist anxiety. I am a tough dental patient. Although it wasn't a fun experience, I think it went really well. He was very calm, very confident, very professional. Just what was needed. And so far I've still got the tooth. I felt really good about going there in an emergency, I can't think of anything they could have done better, I'm really grateful.

As my treatment finishes, I just want to add that the professionalism and care taken by Greg and his staff in delivering a sterling service has left me with the highest quality implants. It has certainly been worth the wait. Don t keep putting it off like I did.

I am very grateful for the wonderful service I received here. They saved my tooth with a second root canal. Very professional, excellent service and it didn t hurt a bit.

I was referred to Finn dental in 2018 with a complicated fractured back molar, Guy was able to repair the tooth and it was described as a work of art by the head consultant at Kings college hospital! I have been back for a further bridge and composite veneer on my front tooth and I now have a smile that am truly proud of rather than ashamed of. I had put off having work done for 8 years as every dentist prior to Finn dental made a mess of my teeth, I will never go anywhere else for treatment.

I have known Greg for many years and he has looked after my teeth superbly. He very recently repaired a broken tooth at short notice, excellent service!

My family has been with Finn Dental Specialists for 10 years and we certainly would not go elsewhere. I had problems with my teeth for many years, specifically abscesses, which affected my general health and Greg was able to rectify this. Six extractions and implants were needed and this procedure carried out over several months was extremely satisfactory.

The entire team is professional and caring and the equipment is state of the art so one feels confident and secure knowing we are getting the best treatment. We also have regular visits to the hygienist, Tracey Murphy, helping to prevent any further problems and keeping teeth feeling and looking good.

I was recommended to see Greg Finn by my local dentist as I was unhappy with the size of my front teeth. They had worn over the years and had become hidden from view when I smiled.
Greg was very thorough in advising me of my options and the associated costs. I initially thought they were expensive but now, having had all top and bottom teeth extended, I am delighted with the results. They make me look and feel much better about my appearance and also give me confidence when I smile, especially when in front of a camera.
In summary, it was one of my better decisions to have this work done and it was certainly money well spent!

As a slightly neurotic, 60 year old woman who has experienced many dental advances since the late seventies, I realised it was implants or a plate. So, I tried the plate and hated it. I had no idea where to go for implants but when I took my mother for an emergency appointment at Finn Dental I was so impressed by the atmosphere and the service, that I booked an appointment.

A year later, I have six implants which are indistinguishable from my natural teeth. It wasn t always an easy journey but Guy Stevens is not only to be highly recommended for his dental skills but also for his people skills! I m sure I wasn t an easy patient at times but he was consistently good humoured, warm and calm.
Similarly, the dental nurses were amazing; caring, positive and reassuring when necessary.

I won t be going anywhere else for dental treatment.

I have been under treatment with Greg Finn during 2019 and 2020. Visiting a dentist has always filled me with dread. I had memories of terrible painful injections, drilling, extractions and the discomfort of sitting in awkward positions for long periods of time.
It was all so different with Greg. His injection technique is amazing. I had a lot of treatment including extractions and implants without any of the horrors I remembered. This has been a breath of fresh air. I started with abscesses, a loose crown, bad decay, missing teeth and an old bridge. I ended up with a total reconstruction including five implants, a new bridge and new crowns. I am comfortable. I can eat again. I am a happy man!

The only thing painful about this excellent practice is trying to find it, but once you have your worries are over. Brilliant and friendly staff who give great and non-patronising advice. Fixed up my chipped tooth and it looks like George Clooney's - unfortunately the only part of me that does. Seriously top work in a friendly atmosphere.

I am a very anxious and nervous patient having had teeth issues for many years.
As soon as I met Guy Stephens I felt I could trust his expert opinion and felt reassured.
So the challenge was undertaken over many months. GUY and JO and all the nurses got me through by being SO kind and patient and most importantly explaining everything sometimes several times with my endless questions!!!!
Not forgetting the reception staff who always gave me a friendly smile and were always very helpful and encouraging.
The work I have had done is amazing. I cannot recommend them highly enough. So do not hesitate to go and talk to them however nervous you may feel!!!

I literally could not be more greatful to Greg Finn.
The dentist is one of my biggest fears, so much so I never go.
Over the new year period my dreaded hell of having an impacted wisdom tooth and infection meant I needed to see someone urgently.
My partner spent the best part of a day dining round dentists in London to try and get me seen. After we had given up hope Greg called us back and said he could see me.
From the moment I stepped in the door I felt I was safe and reassured that I had come to the right place.
Nothing was to much hassle, Greg had to give me multiple injections but took his time and did everything to make it pleasant and reassured me the whole time.
After two day in absolutely agony Greg literally worked miracles. The surgery is one of the few that was able to do a CBCT scan on site which I needed as there were concerns that the nerve was attached to the wisdom tooth. After having the scan he removed the impacted wisdom tooth and I can honestly say I would happily have it done again if I needed to.
Greg is and expireced practitioner and one who I trusted completely.
He really has changed my perseption of the dentist and I honestly could not thank him enough.

During my latest visit both the reception and the treatment were as efficient and professional as ever. Covid precautions were exemplary - masks, sanitisers and social distancing all properly in place. Teeth continuing to be well looked after despite government restrictions. Looking forward to a haircut in due course.

Just under one year ago, after living decades with a troublesome bite, aching jaw and tiny, tiny teeth as if disappearing, I was referred to Finn Dental Specialists by my dentist who had reached the end of the road in being able to care for my mouth. I arrived at Greg Finn s first appointment feeling desperate, fearing the outcome of this appointment would be resigning myself to the fact that nothing could be done to my mouth and that for the rest of my days I would have to live with an aching jaw, out-of-control grinding and a toothless smile.

Almost ten months later, allowing for delay through the first lockdown, my mouth could not be further from the above-mentioned negative outcome. On Tuesday, As I rose from Greg Finn s dental chair and looked at my mouth through a hand-held mirror, I saw a mouth more like the one of my much younger self and a smile with teeth that I thought I had lost forever; it is hard to put into words how happy that makes me feel, but one thing sure I am certainly more confident.

This morning I attended a Zoom meeting with colleagues and rather than keeping the webcam switched off, I turned it on and occasionally glanced at the camera to watch myself laughing; I now have to pinch myself that I have this natural looking and wonderful smile.

Thank you, Greg Finn, your lovely dental nurses and your administrative team for each being a part of this journey with its breath-taking outcome. You have spent hours upon hours working on my mouth demonstrating incredible patience and care. When working in difficult areas you have diverted my attention through chatter about all kinds of things, indeed, reflecting back, I remember more the conversations than the dentistry!

I have been going here for many years and always seen Greg. I've always thought this is the best practice in Beckenham. My teeth are still with me despite my increasingly old age! He has always been a true professional and is a real pleasure to be with. You will always be put at ease when visiting the practice - listening to his stories, wit and wisdom. Nice premises, lovely staff and parking is easy. Don't think of going elsewhere.
