We couldn t be happier with FBP for doing the great work they did in finishing our basement. From the initial virtual sessions with Joe who was very nice, professional and detailed to the whole install process with Jim an the rest of the team. They laid out a 7-8 week schedule on the Buildertrend app and they stuck to it every step of the way. Everyone who came into my home was very friendly and would stop to greet my kids and dogs daily and did a great job of keep me informed on why they were there for that day.
They added a backup sump pump which helped me out and also were very helpful when picking out types of floor, carpet, paint colors etc. they made it very easy when we thought it would be stressful.

We were impressed from the very beginning with the abundance of knowledge provided by our salesmen Joseph. He helped guide us with insight on how to truly maximize the space we had while still obtaining all of wishes we had thought of for our basement. Once we started working with the team at Finished Basements Plus, we were blown away at the professional, promptness and overall hard work. Tony was fantastic at helping with all our design needs and even went above and beyond when it came to a hiccup with an outside vendor completely unrelated to Finished Basements. Ed, our project manager, was great to work with. He kept us up to date on every moving piece and was always there to answer any questions we may have had about our project. We couldn t have asked for a better project manager to oversee our project. And lastly, all of the team members and crew were friendly, courteous and respectful during the entire duration of our project. We would highly recommend Finished Basements Plus to anyone looking to finish their basement. You will rest assured that your money is well spent and you will be left with a beautiful basement.
I am very happy with the work done and the results. There I've only been very minor confusions about anything (which should be expected for any remodel) and they were always very happy to discuss and straighten things out
We had a wonderful experience from start to finished with Finished Basements Plus! They are a well oiled machine with every step clearly communicated. Great company and would recommend them to anyone planning to finish their basement. Our salesman, Joe, really knew how to explain the entire process and gave us a lot of piece of mind that we would get a truly awesome basement. He was super attentive, answering texts and calls at all hours of the day, even spending over an hour with us past 10 pm one night to discuss a possible side project and how it would help us use our space more wisely. Don't hesitate - and ask for Joe!
From the very beginning of our project we had bad information from Michelle Beck, we wanted to buy some of our own things was told you would install them, when we met with Katie she told us that was not true you wouldn't warranty them.
Our measure was not totally accurate so the first wall had to be changed the plumbers left a very dangerous caps on the unused floor clean out they did get corrected after several requests.
The ceiling was the worst , grids were put up wrong spaces were left without tiles and grids were put in that were not needed, my husband had to tell them how to fix the spaces the person who came to fix the problem said he was a specialist in ceilings I think not, I had to show him how to fix the issue. the ceiling tiles are brown on cut edges this doesn't seem right, there must be better tiles than that.
most of the contractors were good some didn't care about leaving work to someone else.
Communication needs to be better.
Still need to talk to the electrician about lighting it isn't enough now that the furniture is in place.
Finished Basements does excellent work and the team members (both FBP crew and subcontracting teams) are hard working, polite, respectful, and talented. As with any project the size of remodeling your basement, there will always be some UNKNOWN costs. When they are identified, FBP does a good job of giving you options (and associated costs) to choose from. One of the things that impressed us most was the extensive detail provided in the proposed contract.
