Their Mvelopes app is great but the customer service to support it is non-existent. I have tried the SMS version only to be dropped from the text for non communication and after waiting on a rep for 1/2 hour, got one that then abandoned me mid-chat and never returned. I am now waiting again and am on my 17 min wait. Ugh!
They accessed (hacked) my bank account and logged in at 2:45 AM Friday 3/27/2020 morning. Nothing was taken or transferred out. But why would they need to log into my account. How did they get my password and answers to my verification questions. What was their purpose.
I have never done any business or had any association with this company. I have never given permission to anyone to access my bank account.
This access (hack) was verified by my bank's IT folks.
I spend at least an hour researching this hack. I would love to get a honest response as THEY say from them. But based on the many other BBB reviews, I believe this company is a ripoff at best and or a scam.
No work life balance, lots of after hours work. Toxic culture and subpar benefits. Old building that is falling apart and a hazard due to constant construction.
They randomly decided my bank wasn't going to be supported anymore. Tech support completely refused to help because I'm not directly a client of theirs. Not the worst service I've EVER received, but definitely makes top 3.
Was recently laid off, however it was an Honor serving the former mission here for 5 years.
They have changed focus and I do wish them Massive Success!

Terrible customer service. Was an mvelopes customer for 7 years, but they have had ongoing bank connectivity issues for months that have not been resolved. Tried to cancel my subscription weeks ago, but there's no way for customers to do it themselves, and customer service is unresponsive. They said it'd be taken care of in 48-72 hours but it's been weeks and no one has canceled my subscription or processed my refund. Extremely disappointing customer service.
