Very clean safe salon with a true artist, Jacob. Literally the best balayage highlights salon NYC! In the mid of the pandemic I've tried to color my own hair, that was a fail. I asked my bf to help me, that was a fail. Finally my bf asked to find a good hair salon specializing in hair color but importantly hair color correction. I found this incredible salon. Very easy to book an appointment. I met with Jacob. I showed him the mess my bf and I created, we laughed and then he told me what, why & how. I'm an artist myself and I saw the same passion in Jacob while he was working on my hair. Brilliant! Professional. Determined. Passionate. I left the salon very happy feeling like a new version of myself. Of course I am very sad that so many businesses have closed due to the pandemic and at the same time I am so happy that Jacob and the salon survived through the pandemic. We wish you well and looking forward to my next visit.

I ve been coming to Jacob for the past 9 years for the ammonia free hair color and hair cutting and he s never disappointing. Always on time. Always consistent. Always accommodating. Highly recommend!

Wow. I went in for a trim and highlights and it was the best thing that happened all year. Jacob took my super long super heavy and super grown out colored hair and transformed it into beautiful light layers while still maintaining length and absolutely beautiful blonde highlights while still maintaining my hair healthy and soft and shiny. Best color and haircut in a long time, for sure. He is super friendly and loves to have a good time, perfect salon for comfort and a laugh and work!!!! Ask for Jacob! He will do a spectacular job.

I came back after away for a year and still was not disappointed. You get great quality for the price and you can trust Jacob to satisfy whatever hair needs you may have.

I wanted to get a caramel brown balayage and after seeing Fine Artistik Hair Salon good reviews I made an appointment with Jacob! Jacob was nice and professional he gave me the color that I wanted and he did an amazing job with my hair. I highly recommended this place and the price is worth paying! My mother and I tried this place for the first time. Jacob was super sweet and inviting. He asked us what we wanted done to our hair and fulfilled our requests. We were very pleased with the outcome. I have gotten my hair colored by Jacob 3 times so far and I don't ever want to go to another salon again!! I have been to so many different salons over the years and I have never been in love with any other hairstylists. In the past, I have always left other salons feeling like I wish they did more of this or I wish they didn't do this. I have very thick hair, so I have never been able to get bright, vivid colors on my hair. The hairstylists will either say it's very difficult to lighten my hair or they will discourage me from getting bright colors from the beginning. I was nearly given up on the idea of having beautiful mermaid hair until I found Fine Artistik Salon, and decided to give it one last try. Jacob blew my mind after I came in for the first time. Never have I went into a salon with a photo of what I want and came out with exactly that photo. I love that Jacob mixes the colors with me before we start, so I can come in with an idea and add to it. And every time Jacob finishes with my hair I get exactly what I want and more! He is amazing at what he does and he is so friendly and easy to talk to. He made my mermaid pastel hair dreams come true. It's great knowing 100% that your hair is going to look fabulous every time you walk out of this salon
