Fifth Floor Restaurant Review

Nice decor, and a menu of fine foods is a lure; however no hostess to greet you and it went down hill from there. Poorly executed food, inexperience and inattentive service left me with a sour taste in my mouth and a bitter disappointment. Soup overly salted, butter frozen, Caesar salad...no croutons, baked potato not dressed, rice dry and undercooked, no basil in capresee style eggplant, menu item omitted and substituted without being consented. Fine dining...I think not. When the waitress asks for you to pour your own wine get up and leave.

We were there on a very busy Saturday evening, had reservations, but they were overwhelmed due to some call offs.

The real test of any service is how they deal with failure, when we brought it to the attention of the owner/manager, she made sure that our experience the rest of the night was wonderful.

There aren't many fine dining options in Youngstown, and this is my new go-to restaurant.

After our experience last night we decided to host an upcoming party there. They really are committed to making sure the guests experiences are fantastic.

The food was excellent, as always, and the prices are hard to beat. We will be back!!!

Although the wait staff was accommodating and pleasant the food was LOUSY! The Fifth Floor restaurant managment should be ashamed of themselves! The charge mother's day buffet was very over priced, generic and of poor quality. The food was bland. I could have eaten better food from a frozen dinner. Our entire party was VERY DISAPPOINTED with their meal. I will not be going back anytime soon. So sad on a special occasion.

I give it a one star cause it was only open a very short time and is closing in a couple days. '

Delicious food, wonderful service. Every item was fresh and beautifully presented. Can't wait to return!

Great lunch menu prices, and that's were it stops! Meat is always under cooked ask for medium u get raw ask for well done u get raw. Fish was old and dry. Was really looking forward to enjoying my food from a fine dining establishment.

First of all, Fifth Floor Restaurant is a beautiful restaurant. I always went there because of the great view and great staff.

Second, the owner is polite and friendly to everyone.

Third, the chefs are lousy, inexperienced, and they cannot understand the language well. They cannot cook the food right. They got my pizza order wrong so many times. One time they forgot to add the cheese. Another time they forgot to add the extra pepperoni. The chefs are hurting the business, and I wish that the owner could wake up and realize that. The owner is losing money because of these awful chefs.

Lastly, the owner should not have blamed the costumers for his business failing. It is not the costumers' fault that his business failed. That's were he really went wrong. I hope that a public apology will be made.

***IT IS OBVIOUS THAT FIFTH FLOOR RESTAURANT HAS FAILED BECAUSE THE FOOD WAS BAD DUE TO INEXPERIENCED CHEFS. THAT'S WHY MANY COSTUMERS NEVER RETURNED. HAVING INEXPERIENCED CHEFS HAS HURT HIS BUSINESS A LOT AND THAT'S WHY HE HAS BEEN LOSING MONEY. IF HE WANTS HIS BUSINESS TO SUCCEED AGAIN, THEN HE NEEDS TO HIRE EXPERIENCED CHEFS WHO CAN COOK GREAT FOOD.
