Fieldwork for The Everglades Today and Tomorrow Review

There is so much to do and so many different places to do it. Whether you go to Shark Valley to ride bike or take the tram tour, or to go fishing out of Flamingo, you will have a blast. I also recommend exploring Everglades Holiday Park and Sawgrass Recreational Park for airboat rides, animal shows, and boat rentals.

Interesting experience. Lot's of alligators and different kind of birds to see during the dry season, sometimes even with the little baby alligators. 4 stars because it's nice to see once for me as a tourist.

Beautiful park puts up close and center with nature. Highly recommend the bike ride but be ready for a workout!

Beautiful place, go to the royal palm visitor center and walk the Anhinga trail to see gators + tons of other wildlife!

No other place for nature lovers, raw as it should be

A must if you go to Florida. Go to the Visitor Center at the entrance or talk with the rangers for trail tips, explanations of fauna and flora. They will tell you what the dangers are, especially the plants not to touch.

One of the best National Parks in the country! A great place to go alone or with family, and definitely take the time to go to Shark Valley and take the tram tour. Overall, a must-see if you re in the area.

A wildlife park to see gators and ride air boats. Great experience

If you have the opportunity to visit this area take it. The best way to view it is in a kayak or canoe so that you can explore the hidden Mangrove tunnels and the inner openings of the small Islands that you could never see in a motor boat. So much Wildlife to see including dolphins and a myriad of birds. Just watch out for the mosquitoes and sand flies.

All these areas offer a wide range of activities! You can take a short walk on the Anhinga Trail to spot abundant wildlife--turtles, herons and alligators! Climb atop Shark Valley's 65-foot observation tower for a bird's eye view of the glades. Glide over Florida Bay by tour boat or kayak for a chance to glimpse a crocodile, manatee, or dolphin. Watch as the sun sets over Flamingo, the southernmost point in mainland Florida. Explore the pinelands by bike, paddle amongst the mangroves on Nine-Mile Pond, or tour the historic Nike Hercules missile base. Join a ranger on a slough slog deep into the heart of a cypress dome. Find solitude on your own on a week-long canoe trip, camping along the 99-mile Wilderness Waterway.

The trails are really well preserved, and very convenient. You can visit totally different ecosystems just in a day, which gives a lot of value to this park. Be aware of mosquitos!!!

Nice experience and clear explanation of the ranger

The best place to understand the nature of Florida. The Everglades is Florida in its purest form. Mandatory if you're in Miami or nearby.

One of the most beautiful places I ve visited.

The anahingo trail is a must visit as you get a good glimpse of the animals and the nature.

The Airboat is a fun experience, but keep in mind you do not see as much wildlife due to the loud machinery.

Disappointing that we didn't see any wild life on our boat trip and at the end of the tour we are shown caged alligators with no explanation as to why they are captive. The man then passes round a baby alligator that you can hold for extra and for a photo... Personally I don't like seeing animals treated this way

The everglades is a beautiful place to visit. My only warning is know what trail you are getting on. Very little shade, if any on the trail we took. It was awesome to have the wildlife so close.

I was with my wife on May 15 it was a beautiful experience, never lived, if you have opportunity visit the park you will not regret

Great for me. Everything very primeval. Turtles, herons in all variations. It was my 4th time there and I would drive through it again and again and stop for a while. You wonder if you stand still for 1/4 hour what you discover everything.

Hmmmm pretty nice but only for adventurers. Saw some alligators on the road. Pretty cool. If you do not like Moskitos then better cover your self up with anti whatever spray.

Love it there, as often as time and weather allow I go down with my kayak for fun fishing. Always beautiful, always an adventure!

Beautiful at every season. Don t miss the Anhinga trail and the sunset boat ride from Flamingo! Only place on Earth where you can see alligators and crocodiles together!

We were the only people until around 10:30a.

A beautiful experience to enjoy nature. They have tours during the day and at night. It is an incredible opportunity to be in contact with nature and hear the very experimented guides. It is a very organized National Park. The tour at night is a sensorial unique experience to catch alligators, birds, listen the noises of the creatures. The kids love this park. You can take time to walk, to ride a bike, sumerge your self in a boat with guides, to rent a home-boat for 6 persons just for $350 a night. I totally recommend it.

Very large place, it is better to drive at least for a day! Many wild animals, crocodile cockroaches are very clean, leather oil is black and sleek, everywhere! Beautiful egrets fly freely, and the world is wide!

We are here every year, do not plan to ever stop going. Great for the family.

I took a backcountry tour and the guides were unbelievably passionate! I enjoyed the trails and I can't wait to come back to hit the Northern Everglades.

Top. To do on a private visit and in the morning to avoid the tropical rains of the afternoon. At Everglad Safari Park.

Non stop fish catching! Hooked up with Jacob Hill through Pines and Palms.

A 40 minute trip to get to the end and then there is neither Aoir Boats nor food. I recommend the Alligator Farm

Awesome place. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Miami and well maintained. A must visit place National treasure.

Its kinda home away from home for this Lousiana boy and this place is and awesome place to stop to get a good meal and to pick up gifts and such to bring home
Mrs Tina an staff makes you feel welcomed just bring cash as she dont do debt cards
