Absolutely no respect for patient s time. Constantly have to wait an hour before being seen, yet if you are 10 minutes late to an appointment they have to reschedule you.
Great staff and amazing atmosphere, this place puts me so much more at ease with my pregnancy. When I first started coming I drove from over an hour away because of how great they are!
After reading the reviews I was worried on going to this office I had an appointment today and I was in & out the doctor & staff were great doctor explained everything to me and the wait was not long at all thank you guys !
First off I have to say the staff is so amazing here! Dr Al-malt is a great Doctor. I've been told by other doctors and medical personal that he is the best in Orlando. I'm so happy with the care I receive here!
Amazing staff and the specialist are very friendly.
Always have to wait over an hour for my appointments and the doctor is always trying to leave the room as fast as possible, even when trying to ask questions.
I really like the place and Drs. I know that the wait is very longgg, but I think it is worth. When it s your turn, ultrasound s drs. take their time checking at your baby, and it makes me feel secure and confident. Also drs. are really good. If I had to go there again, I will definitely do it.
Today was my first day here and I hate the drive, but I love the office! Everyone is so kind and caring and they don't waste your time or money with pointless appointments! I left my first day with a game plan, something for just in case, and a backup plan! What you want and need are their top priorities!
I went there at 6:45am. Of course the person was late opening the office. They didn't open till almost 7:20Am another couple got there @ 7:15 am We all came inside I signed in first then the other person did. But not sure why they dedecid to call the other person first. That Made no sense!
Three Fetal Diagnostic Center babies later (the oldest is 17) - I consider myself experienced to speak on this center. Dr Al Malt s knowledge & bedside manner is unparalleled. If you are looking for the best physician- you have found him.
Now high risk pregnancy is an art, you are treating people with complications. Good care takes time. Did I wait for the doctor? Yes, I sure did. Did others wait because of my issues, sure did.
I had many days I held more water or needed an extensive scan or testing outside of what was planned. But every time he took his time.
I d had many losses prior to meeting Dr Al Malt and his care gave me finally diagnosis and treatment to carry babies full term.
I am grateful for every moment he took with me. His staff is world class including u/s techs and support. I gladly drove from Dr Phillips for his care.
Three healthy daughters later- the oldest is driving now- I would recommend you receive treatment at the facility. There is nothing more important than the right caregiver & this is your doctor!
I was referred by my obgyn here because I'm high risk at the end of last year. They told me they took both my plans and everything was covered and copay was zero. Went to this place and somehow they charged me $300 and told me they only take one insurance... They only repeated what my obgyn told me before, so it was a waste of time and gas. The wait was extremely long but the doctor was nice. This place is unorganized therefore I never went back.
Zero respect for patients time. I have had 2 appointments with them and each one I waited over an hour to be seen. The waiting room is packed full and there are people standing because there are no chairs. Terrible customer service.
I was there in this location on 6/4/2020 for my wife's ultrasound . We had to pay $390.30 as co pay after our insurance .The lady in charge in the billing insisted to pay the entire amount immediately even after we requested if could pay half or part of it . So we paid the entire amount $390.30 the same day. After one month they send me another bill of $36.28 telling that the staff made the mistake in calculating and i have to pay this amount. I was so frustrated on this since i made so many requests of paying half or part of the payment earlier, they refused .I just wonder why the facility doesn't allow the partial payment for the service. What someone has a financial crisis especially during this COVID 19 time.
Incompetent office. They over schedule then understaff. Every visit is over 2 hours... so make sure you have the whole day.
Dr A is also rude and talks about patients in hallway "Well she waited 2 days ... whats 10 minutes?!" Not flexible if you have emergency. Unable to explain why your bill is different EVERY VISIT. ALSO, staff goes to lunch while you wait on them. RUN or WADDLE AWAY
Very unhappy with the wait times here. EVERY appointment I have, I sit in the waiting room for more than an hour... sometimes more than an hour and a half, before I am called. Patients are packed into the waiting room and we sit & sit & sit. I hate how my time is of no concern to them. I expect to be seen at my appointment time. This place over schedules and has no respect for a patients time.
Compared to my normal OB practice, this place is sooooo much better. Only one or two occasions I had to wait a bit to be seen but the wait time is minimal. The doctors here, especially doctor Stephen, are super caring, helpful and really take the time to answer my questions. I'm actually looking forward to see them more than my normal OBs even though we have to drive an hour every time.
My experience at this office has been so disheartening since the first day. The providers ( physicians) are great and thorough. However, their front desk staff are completely useless and lack compassion considering the specialty field filed they work in and the kind of patients they serve. It's already tough to deal with pregnancy let alone complications with your fetus and then you have to deal with the staff in addition to that? Although mandatory training is probably not required for such positions they should really reconsider whom they hire to be the front face of the office. Each experience including phone calls have been so dreadful that I would much rather change doctors then to deal with them.
