The room was clean, staff were friendly. Older hotel, but a beautiful one.

Rooms were clean...could use an upgrade...but look decent. Walls are quite thin. Staff is excellent. Breakfast is the only thing I would classify as subpar.

There was a dirty towel hanging in our room, and our bed did not have a fitted sheet - just a regular sheet draped over the mattress. No control over the AC that we could find, but maybe we just did a poor job looking.

I thought it was a nice place to stay and customer service was great

Nice clean low price. Cute little pool and hot tub. Breakfast included but it was a sit down meal with fake eggs. Staff were friendly

My family and I stayed here for a few days. It fit our need for a place to lay our heads. I would give The Festival Inn an average rating for the following reasons.

Location:
I love the location on the edge of town. Stratford is not big so it's not far from anywhere and it's very close to many places to eat and shop for essentials. Since it's located a little distance from the city centre the traffic is minimal.

Staff:
Very friend and helpful. I had no problems with the staff and they always kept a smile on their face

Grounds:
Parking is plentiful. There is a courtyard in the middle with picnic tables. It's a well designed property.

My major issues were with the room that we booked itself. The coffee maker looked a bit dirty or maybe it was just really old so we didn't feel comfortable using it. The beds were a little smaller than I was hoping for and the carpet was a little musty.

Overall I enjoyed the stay at The Festival, it's not terribly exciting location, but for the price I would consider staying there again.

Rooms themselves are ok. Comfortable. Coffee pot in the bathroom, so that's odd.

Hottub in pool area hasn't worked right in over a year. Water looked foul last time out.

Encountered a rodent in the pool area.

Service at breakfast has been terrible. Absolutely terrible. Food is ok by hotel standards but good luck getting a cup of coffee.

They put a $500.00 hold on our credit card for incidentals. I find that excessive. A $500 hold for a room that looks like it hasn't been touched since 1989? That was hard to swallow.

We've been going here for 5 years but everything seems to be going downhill so fast that after the mouse and $500 incidental hold, we won't be back.

People were playing boomboxes with country music at a picnic table outside my door until like 2 a.m. the Wi-Fi is terrible and our room is basically a staging ground for depression and death.

Nice, large, comfortable room. Parking all along the outside of the building made it convenient to bring our bags inside. I enjoyed staying here while going to a couple of plays and found it a great home base.

A great experience. Two members of my family had their wedding reception here and they did everything to make it perfect!

The Festival Inn was easy to locate. Staff was very friendly and room clean and lovely.

Amazingly wonderful staff, but the hotel generally needs some major eyes on it. Strong sulphur smell when you run the shower in the room. Hot tub has WAY TOO MUCH chemical in it. After a couple hours in the pool and hot tub everyone is super itchy even after a shower. Ants in the room. Hair balls in pool. Very disappointing.

I was there for a Rotary lunch meeting. The food was excellent.

Rooms were nice beds were great only complaint is Wi-Fi is real bad in courtyard rooms

Very nice room for the price. Large room, enough for a table and chairs.

I came here for a workshop for work. Normally I stay at Best Western but they were boooed, instead I gave the Festival Inn a chance. If you want a good night's sleep then do not stay here. There was lots of noise from connecting rooms like people talking/laughing, in the hallways people running and screaming and car alarms turning on throughout the night. Called front desk at 11pm from cell phone complain as phone in room did not work. Front desk did not follow up with complaint.

Comfortable room, quiet. Excellent clerk's who know the area.

Junior suite was BIG. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast.

Overall the hotel was pretty good. We were originally put in rooms that were detached from the main hotel, sort of like motel style. They didn't have wifi though, so we had to ask to be moved to another room. The rooms inside the main hotel were nicer and had hi speed internet. My only issue was that the pillows were not very comfortable. Otherwise it was great. The location is good, but I think if I went back I would stay in one of the hotels downtown. Parking in Stratford can be difficult during the festival, and the meters only take coins. It would be nice to be able to walk to restaurants / the theatres.

It was a beautiful inn the pool was amazing very clean the only thing that was a disappointment was the breakfast other then that we will be visiting again

The room itself was dark but that wasn't the worst of it. We had an ant problem in our room. They were crawling all over the bathroom and the outer room walls. The hot water also wreaked of sulfur. It was hard not to gag. I don't recommend staying here.

My latest stay was great! couldn't have asked for a better night sleep

Good meeting facility. Decent food, well equipped meeting rooms and attentive staff.

Just stayed 3 nights at Festival Inn in Stratford. Stay included many disappointments. The shower runs eggy hard water that leaves you feeling stinky. The included breakfast features rubbery eggs and a choice of white or white bread. The sauna does not heat up in an hour and on day 2 the whole swim whirlpool area was locked since staff were not able to keep chemicals at safe levels. When I asked to speak to a manager I was given a night clerk who seemed well versed in receiving complaints but did not even manage to apologize. When we arrived they tried to put us in a musty out building with no wi-fi.

It was stingy and old, but it was a nice place to stay just for the night I could not imagine staying there for more than one night. It was not very well kept and I just overall did not have very nice experience there, but if you are looking for some place to stay for the night it is a good option or maybe even the best option in that area.

Lovely place to get a good night sleep and a nice breakfast the next morning

Was there for my wife's work Christmas party. As always the food was amazing, the staff were pleasant, courteous and quick. My only complaint was that the front parking lot was poorly plowed and walking was a little dicey.

Very pleased with this hotel. Very pleasant staff. Nice breakfast. Very comfortable clean room. Complimentary coffee was very tasty. Short drive to the theatre. Great parking. Looking forward to staying here again.

Food was amazing! We attended a family reunion which included use of the pool and a catered meal. Meal was more than affordable and the buffet spread was stellar. Variety, amazing service and beautiful facility. A complete package.

Great place to stay in Stratford for the festival. Breakfast included and the rooms are decent.

Great location in a cute town. Check in was very quick and they happily accommodated late check in for us. The room was large and nicely furnished. Bathroom was okay but a little dated. Overall would recommend.

The hotel is close to many attractions, such as Avon Theater and Stratford's lively downtown area. The accommodations are pretty decent, the rooms are spacious and it is very quiet. My main problem was that room service didn't clean the room in a timely manner.

Reasonable price and buffet breakfast was included. The amenities seem to be recently updated.

Rooms definitely need updating. Climate control does not work. Insulting check in procedure. Room is charged a $50 fee at check-in to cover incidentals. this will be refunded a few days after checkout. this is insulting, and the rooms are no longer worth the $100 plus cost. I will not return, and I have stayed here many years while attending plays. Never again

Large rooms. Slightly outdated decor, but the quality of the furniture is very good. None of that Ikea fake wood stuff.

The rooms are very clean & the staff are very friendly. Especially the ladies that serve breakfast.

Stratford has some of the hardest water I have seen around. The annex part of the inn seems to be struggling with plumbing. Nonetheless, Management is aware and is very accommodating.

Would definitely stay again.

Originally rated this a 4 stars (ONLY because decor is a bit outdated in my opinion and the breakfast could be more... real?) but I've fully changed my mind. This place is amazing. I travel to alot of hotels for work and this one felt the most homey I've been to in a long time.

From the complimentary homestyle breakfast to the AMAZING staff. I'd suggest this place over anything else in Stratford. The staff is nothing short of an 11/10.

I left my very expensive portable speaker there and Chris, the housekeeping manager, spent hours asking everyone to identify the last digit of my phone number in the stressed out voicemail I left just to return it to me. And even after that sent my coworkers missing shirt with it too since our rooms were under the same contact.

Truly the staff makes this place what it is. Even the front desk staff went above and beyond to deliver my coworker only "THE BEST" bandaids they have. I was given a microwave in my room and even recieved an apology when it wasn't delivered within 10 minutes??? If work brings me back to Stratford I will be requesting to stay at the festival Inn again.

Great room. Price 179.oo plus tax!!! Sign in room states benefits of staying at Quality Inn which mentioned breakfast which is normally included at Quality Inns BUT was not included at this Q Inn!!!

Stay there for the weekend or Saturday breakfast was amazing and then the Sunday buffet you was very very good too that's my second year going there and we'll go back again next thanks for everything

The room was clean and everything was working in my room but my colleague's room had a bit of troubles with the heater and hot water. Location is good and the staff is super friendly!

This is a very badly maintained motel. The walls are paper thin too. Carpet and furnishings smell. Dirty room. Avoid.

Older style but very clean and welcoming. Difficult if you do not have a vehicle, as it is on the outskirts.
