We loved our time here! The exhibits were fascinating and very educational!! My autistic son loved the experience inside and outside of the museum. Lots for children to do here, and lots to exolore! The film on the Sea Loins was amazing! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. My son had a small meltdown and one of the staffers was eager to help and got him calmed down in minutes! Kudos to him!

This museum was amazing. The atmosphere inside was very relaxing. It was also a lot larger than we thought! There were many different areas inside and an entire forest path outside with a play area and a small waterfall for children to play. There were also games in the middle of the forest as well. Chess, checkers, hoola hoops, etc. definitely is a place worth visiting! We loved it.

If you like nature then this place is great. Beautiful forest. I, however, am a city girl lol. So the first snake/insect sign we saw we turned around. The exhibits were neat. As a whole though, not what I expected from a natural history museum. Unfortunately, having been to the Smithsonian, its very difficult to find one that has that big of a wow factor. My son & I thoroughly enjoyed this one though. Employees were super nice too.

We just moved back to Atlanta and realized how nice a spot the Fernbank Museum is. It is really well laid out and easy to move around. The gift shop has excellent items and always keeps changing things. It is very spacious so you don't feel cramped like some other museums. It is so clean and well maintained.

The museum was wonderful. Great for all ages. There are several exhibits that are informative and interactive. The play area was a highlight for the young people but they also enjoyed learning about the natural history of the landscape and plant and animal life. We expected to spend about 3 hours and ended up staying all day. I advise setting aside a whole day for this museum. You can bring your own lunch or eat at the Cafe. There is a daily experience of interacting with live animals so be sure to make that a priority. Trails are lovely with a wonderful outdoor play area. Staff is helpful and friendly. Masks are required inside and I appreciate that guests are respectful of this.

This was a nice change from our other stops in Atlanta. I would suggest, anyone who enjoys visiting museums, stopping by for a few hours. There are walking trails outside where you can enjoy some original architecture and learn about all different parts of nature. There are Play areas for kids and a nice creek to enjoy. The museum is filled with taxidermy, live, and sculpture animals. There is a star room that is amazing, just make sure you wait for the sun to rise. There is an entire interactive area for learning about force. Young and old we all enjoyed the activities. Thank you for giving us a good experience to finish our trip.

Loved this place Educational yet engaging! So many fun activities for the kids to take part in. The playground outside was small but nice to let the children run some energy off before getting back in the car. The food was affordable and convenient. The exhibits were awesome and had lots of artifacts for the kids to see and keep them interested for the most part. Nature quest was so unique and my kids loved it. So many little hidden surprises. Fantastic forces was a hit! The gift shop had a variety of items and not overpriced like most. 10/10 recommended if you're in the area!!
