The best cover up artist Ty, did an excellent job. No one would touch my horrible tattoo. Ty made it beautiful. He has also given me the best work ever. I am totally tattooed and believe his work is the highest quality available.

I got my 2nd lobe piercings done here and after he went on and on about how he's got so many certificates and degrees and how he's the best there is, my ears have been fighting infections since last November when I got them done AND THEY AREN'T EVEN SPACED PROPERLY?! Does anyone else see this?? I'm horrified! Just noticed when changing the original jewelry. I can't believe I paid for this.

Honest, knowledgable and personable staff. I got my nose pierced there; best piercer yet. Afterwards, I felt confident taking my daughter in to get her ears pierced and both of us could not be happier with our experiences. Tackle Boxx gave the best after care info, took the time to make sure we knew the process, expectations and was considerate and calming for my daughter's first piecing. I had price shopped around Downtown Seattle for shops using a hollow needle and the pricing was totally comparable, not in any way over priced. I do not know who was there 3 years ago, but I highly recommend Tackle Boxx for your piercing needs; he is definitely experienced and professional.... Important qualities for such a procedure. Pleasent service here. The people were all kind and accommodating. I feel they could help me more clearly understand pricing for specific tattoos, but they gave me a ballpark that was acceptable. I need to research their artwork, but have high hopes that it is stellar. Sweet shop.
The piercer did an excellent job removing my 2 dermals. Quick, easy, and I hardly felt a thing.
This place was pretty sketchy. The piercer told me that he knew more about piercing and aftercare than any other piercer and then put a lip stud in my ear instead of traditional ear jewelry. It was too long and it was constantly catching in my hair until I was finally able to switch it out.

NEVER GET PIERCINGS HERE! The piercings guy does not care about anything but money. He didn't use any clamps to pierce with and he pierced my belly button with an eyebrow ring! So of course it swelled over the little ring and got infected from that so we had to take it out. He didn't care about my health or how it would effect me. He just saw money. So please help yourself and go to another tattoo shop to get anything pierced.
The artist who helped me asked all the right questions. He made sure everything lined up and was straight. Im kinda picky and he catered to my esthetic, making me feel very comfortable and heard. I was in good hands and so will you be.
Just called to ask a question, he answered by saying hello? Not even saying the tattoo shop name. I had to ask to clarify where I was calling. Once I asked my question he was very rude to me. Also my friend had a bad experience here, she was touched on by the man working on her tattoo same guy I spoke on the phone with

I got my septum Pierced here TY was very professional and treated me well. The shop is very clean and in a great location! I even Lost my balls to my nose ring and the next day TY was more then happy to help me for no additional charge. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I went in to fenix on a whim one day and pretty much long story short the guy had to re-pierce one side of my lip because it was on my lip Line and it definetly hurt. He also said something about my tattoo across my chest and that it was crooked and whoever did it needed to get fired. 1 it's not crooked and second off this guy should've been fired. I don't know about the tattoo work but based off my short stay I'd give it 2 stars

Couldn't get a spot on the last day of the tattoo convention. After looking up a few late night shops my brother and I decided on this place and I was amazed. They made me feel welcome and likei was a part of the family from the moment I walked. Not too long of a wait, at all, for a walk-in and the tattoo turned out great and was priced just right. Went in as a walk in. Tackle Boxx was awesome in helping design what I truly wanted from a vague idea I had from a photo. Very very professional. Took a little time because he made sure everything is EXACTLY as I wanted. Hard to say a pocket watch is badass but, Tackle Boxx made it happen. I WILL be going back. Soon.

The guy who pierced me and my friends was extremely creepy and then our cartilage piercings got super infected for months and months afterwards. Please do not go here for piercings, laughing Buddha is amazing though!

They were awesome! I had my stomach dermal piercing halfway ripped out on a Tuesday evening playing basketball and I was freaking out because I had no idea what to do (I had the piercing for 8 years) and it was 10:00 pm on a week day. I tried a couple other tattoo/piercing places in my neighborhood but they weren't able to help. So I called Fenix Tattoo, they were open and said they would be able to help me that evening. I went in there and they helped me right away. He was quick and talked me through the pain, as I was freaking out at the thought of him pulling it out. He then gave me ointment to reduce the scarring and didn't charge me for the removal. Thank you for being so nice and making an experience I was dreading since I got the dermal quick and easy!
Me and the wife got tattoo's at Fenix Tattoo last night. Ty was awesome. My wife had a lot of questions and was a little nervous because it was her first tattoo. Ty gladly answered all of the questions and explained everything very well. I would definitely recommend Fenix Tattoo. Oh the price was very reasonable as well.

Went in to replace a bead on my captive bead cartilage piercing and he did it right there and didn't charge me anything for it! Super nice guys I recommend them
My roommate and I went up here with the intent to start the process of gauging my ears. Instead we decided on beginning the process for his ears, the entire time we were there the piercer there was one of the smartest people I think I have ever met (and I don't mean that sarcastically). We talked science, math, health, and his experience as both a tattoo artist and piercer. He was funny as hell, fun to be around, and really knowledgeable. We live down in Lakewood but will be making the 1hr drive up to Fenix to continue sizing gauges and likely be there for tattoos in the future.
Seriously you won't find a better staff especially if you're entirely new to the scene. I feel a little bad for being rowdy and obnoxious.
Today I walked into this shop as a tourist praying they could take a walk in (most shops in my area give serious attitude if you try to come in without an appointment) - they took me in quickly and without any attitude. Ty was friendly, informative and honest through the process. His artistry was great and so was his service. I always get nervous going To new shops but i have zero regrets about going here. I highly recommend Ty as an artist and Fenix as a shop and I ve been getting tattooed for years
We called Ty last minute and got there within an hour notice and he was able to get us in. He was extremely helpful, explaining the healing and aftercare process, walking us through all of the steps for our piercings to heal. He sent us home with aftercare products, free of charge. Could tell he really cared about customer experience and making sure our piercings healed properly. Would highly recommend and refer to anyone!!

3rd tattoo from this shop between the old & new location. Today was my first time in the new location, it's really nice & wheelchair accessible! Service was great as always. I really like being engaged as another human with no BS instead of a "customer" the staff has to put on an exaggerated customer service facade to appease. These guys are always real, chill, and up front about everything and it makes me feel like I fit in right away. Ty only employs exemplary artists, so I trust everyone there with ink. Always fair pricing.
My best friend and I went in to get our Tragus pierced together and I needed my nose redone. The piercer was incredibly pompous. He immediately started off by saying he was pre-med and had a real estate license and all these other non related certifications. Who cares?? He didnt ask if the position was good for either of us and when we asked to move it he shrugged it off like we were wrong for wanting it centered. When my best friend did hers his hand slipped and the clamp came off her ear leaving marks and blood. She asked him to clean it and he said "oh its just red" he blamed it on her for "moving" when in reality she never moved and he never even acknowledged his mistake. He was very rude and I wouldn't reccomend anyone going there. In wanting my nose redone it wasn't even fully closed and he charged a full amount ($60). We did not get to pick the gauge or the jewlerry like most places and his aftercare instructions were not on paper so you better listen closely as he guarantees it heals in 3 days. Uhm.. no. He belittles women and is again very arrogant.
Fenix rocks. Very professional, competent artists, and a great environment. I came in with a group of four 18 year-old girls - yikes, right? - but we were met with open arms, and got both genuine guidance and great banter out of the experience (and, of course, sick ink). I'll absolutely be coming back to these guys when I want to get my own tattoos/piercings done. They come recommend highly!

I had a very good experience with the staff here. I came in to get my jewelry out for my pending surgery, and then came back to get it all put back in again after it was over. The piercing guy was super nice about it and even did all my captive bead jewelry too! Such a load off my mind! I didn't have to worry about doing it myself and losing beads down the drain. Thank you SO much!

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, my piercer did not go over after care instructions yet did belittle every other piercer in the city. Marked my piercing location with a sharpie and stuck the needle in crooked so the entry and exit holes do not line up. Used a nonstandard gauge and didn t tell us. That is just touching on the actual piercing experience. This dude kept looking up my skirt while piercing me and insulted/commented on the tattoos that were visible to him. After the jewelry was put in he told me that I could change it after 7-10 DAYS I didn t think that was right but I did it anyways and it got so infected and inflamed that I thought I would lose an ear! The cleanliness standards are clearly not met and the LEAST he did was wear gloves and change needles between my friend and I. BEWARE

The first time I went to Fenix was as an impulse walk in for a little banger. After a while I ended up showing Ty the absolute worst tattoo in the world and he said he could fix it! After a few sessions he managed to turn my horrible solid black tribal mess into a beautiful work of art. Over the years he has touched up a few other tattoos for me as well. I am always thrilled with his work. Fun shop to hang out in , cool chill staff with top skills. I hate going anywhere else now. Worth the drive down for this Canadian!
I walked in to see if there was something that could be done to help touch up my arm tattoo that was faded so much (brown/yellow ink) you couldn't read it, it was my mom's handwriting about 5 years old.
Tackle-Boxx looked at it, offered to go over it in black but said it MIGHT not match the handwriting because of how unreadable it was. It needed help in the worst way so even if it didn't match 100%, I was ok with it and I also chose to add on a flower off to the side. Tackle-Boxx helped me chose a flower that wasn't tacky and that would hold up well over time. Once in the chair and under the light he traced the lettering with a pen and double checked that I was happy how it all turned out before we started. My tattoo is substantially better and my flower looks great too! I really relied on Tackle-Boxx and his opinion a lot when we started discussing options because he does this every day, he knows what holds up and gave me honest expectations. 5 Stars over and over again to this man!
I came in for one thing and left with another. I had some cover up (upper arm blacked out) and I thought it was a lost cause. Ty, the owner, came and looked at it then after a couple hours I left with art that I never would have thought would come out on top of black work. Best tattoo yet. He also is a Jack of all trades and will talk to you about literally anything and know what he is saying.
