Excellent board games and Magic The Gathering store. A wide community of players and very receptive to the new people who visit them. The store is WPN Premium which demonstrates its quality. Tournaments every day. If you like games and you are in Los Angeles it is a must.
i don think that they are a typically good store, the only good worker at the store would be the nice young tall gentlemen in the black curly hair and hazel eyes, exact same price as gamestop and in the middle of nowhere, i would prefer to just go to gamestop. Most of their prices are over gamestop!
This place has very good customer service. The workers are also very knowledgeable judges that has in my experience never called a bad ruling for yugioh or magic tournaments.

Wide variety of board games, miniatures, cards, ... for those geeks who like these things. There are many tables to play and friendly people. The store looks neat and clean.
Great selection of both retro video games as well as current tabletop/board games and a friendly atmosphere.
Went in the store to trade old Xbox games. One employee told me you can bring them in and most will probably less then 25 cents. I brought them in and had another employee look at them and all he said I quote "the games I see here look like they aren't even worth trading. Also we have a competition starting soon I don't have time to see what I like in this box."
Obviously that employee is blunt and rude. I really don't see myself coming back there.
Friendly staff. A place you can escape to play games with friends/strangers. Especially in L.A where every place is heavy and filled with traffic. You get a break here.
Amazing store, great atmosphere, great selection of cards and accessories. Showed up too late for draft, but will be a place I will return to anytime I can. Staff was friendly and helpful, great experience overall

Very good for old school games and consoles. Reasonably priced classic games. Some new games but they don't carry new releases. They do lots of table top games.

Went to 3 different retro game stores in the DTLA area and this by far was my favorite to see. They have a ton of collection of retro games, board games, and collectible merchandise. I did not come out empty handed for sure.
Got ahold of a rare game that would've come late for Christmas on Amazon, also this place is just great to look around in.

They had a decent selection of games but when I asked about magic the gathering all they showed me was rival packs instead of trying to get the most out of the experience and offering me more items or other ways to make a deck and one of the workers were acting a bit too high and mighty for a service worker.

This place has so many choices for games of all types. Roll play and board games, cards and some video games too. The store was set up with tables for in store game play and I think tournaments for things like Magic cards. Staff is great, helpful and friendly. Free parking in back lot.
I hate this place. I hope they go out of business and world 8 store is so much better and in los angeles area. So forget these people who actually think their doing customers a favor by answering a question. All they do is shop at Amazon for their store so don't be fooled with their items because you can get them way cheaper online than from them. Avoid at all costs.
Third time here in the past year from NYC would be here 3 times a week if possible. The staff is knowledgeable and generous. The shop is clean and has a huge selection while maintaining a lot of open floor space so there can be events and casual shoppers at the same time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This place is great if you're looking for great videogames. They have all sorts of platforms available, and it's not limited to electronic games either; they also carry several card games as well. The back room has a cool little lounge where you can sit back and play some video games.
We stopped in here looking for a game and got a expert run down on several options. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about the games they have. They stock a good number of games and they also have room to play some at tables. Prices seemed a little high though.

Great board game selection, they pretty much have everything. The staff is super helpful, one guy sat down with us and showed us how to play a game he recommended. They have demo copies of most popular games and you can go in and play them on Wednesday nights. Prices are probably higher than if you ordered online but you won't feel guilty supporting this shop, they really care about what they do .
Great game store. Awesome shop to get your fix for Magic The Gathering (game that i play ) but this shop also holds events for pokemon, warhammer, dungeons and dragons and many more.
The staff are great people always willing to help. I have been to this shop many times and i have always had a great time.
People attending the events are also nice people.

In a world today where the internet and conventions have drove away the neighborhood brick and mortar retail stores, it's nice to see a place like Cards & Comics Central exist.
Great place to get magic cards. I was able to trade in a lot of my older stuff for almost $200 store credit! They carry singles, boosters, fat packs, sleeves and deck boxes. Plus they have events and drafts almost every day of the week. Can't recommend this place enough.
